My tour guide thought this chain was big, but the website said it was local to this area. I came here to sample the local wares anyway. Here, one apparently seats oneself and orders from the menu. The majority of the offerings are hot dogs. The hot dogs resemble those I have tried in New England and do not resemble the mass-produced hot dogs and greasy chili of Weinerschnitzel. Their chicken wrap tastes even better than at McDonald's and other restaurants. Their "Dog Ears" are sweet tortillas, priced at $0.99. My tour guide compared them to elephant ears. A better explanation would be appreciated for both terms, but they were tasty and cuisine local to this area anyway so it was a new experience for me. The staff is talkative, but nice.

I've been eating G&L Chili dogs since...well...yeah...a long time. If you like greek style shili dogs with chese, chili, mustard, onion along with a side of crispy fries this is the place to go. They also have really good shakes and malts, and burgers. I eat G&L just about weekly. I'm reviewing this one in particular since it's so close to my house but any G&L in muskegon gives the same good service and tasty food.

Don't eat here unless you absolutely have to in order to survive. Dirty, rude staff, shitty tasting food. You would be better eating out of a dumpster behind Meijer. Not only will you get the "shits" but you might get some form of infectious disease sitting in a booth.

Short and sweet: If you're looking for a Detroit or Flint style coney, you've come to the wrong place. But if you're willing to have a decent but different chili dog, G&L is worth a try. The Greek Special (2 dogs and fries) is hard to beat, price wise. The rest of G&L's menu is pretty good in terms of variety and price. You're also able to get in and out of there in 25-40 minutes if you are dining in, even if you take a few minutes to decide what you want. Their chili dogs are polarizing, but it's a great lunch or dinner place that's not pricey, nor pretentious.

Chili and hot dogs were not that tasty and the fries were old and cold. I must have hit them up after the lunch rush and got all the left overs

Chili was alright, but they use the cheapest hot dogs around. They tasted horrible, if they were to use a better hot dog this place might have something. Until then I would avoid
