I have been there many times, the steaks are great and the service is always good. Can't seem to get enough of their yummy yeast rolls. I like the big steaks they offer, at a very reasonable price. Mon-Wed they have 2 meals for 13.99, if I go alone I get a meal to take home for the next day.

We really like the steak here, I am not sure why others are complaining, although I suspect it is the atomosphere. I've not had a bad meal here in about 5 trips, including two with vendors. My boys love throwing the peanut shells on the floor before dinner. I suspect the atmosphere (as evidenced by the peanut shells) is what turns off some of the folks in Midland. However, I am not a gourmet and I care a lot more about what my food tastes like than the rustic atmosphere.Frankly the other dining options in this town don't really blow me away, so we will be coming back.

I had a terrible experience one time there -- the person who was delivering our dinner (NOT the same as the one who took our order) was flagged down by another party that took our food! The management tried to laugh it off and say they weren't responsible. Eventually they gave us a free meal. BUT -- even when there isn't such a strange service experience, the staff always seem more interested in chatting with each other than in serving the customer. The food is very uneven in quality -- and what's up with those under-done rolls??

I thought the prime rib was great. Service was a bit slow, but they were very busy. Drinks were a little weak.

nice staff and the food came out in an ok time, after noticing my steak was not cooked to my desire the manager apologized and knocked ten bucks of the price.

Chains like this offer average food at a reasonable price. If you are fussy about your steak because you dine at high end steakhouses a lot, you will be disappointed. I went with a bunch of guys from work and got what I expected. Service was prompt and friendly and the food was cooked as requested. For a decent meal, you could do a lot worse.

The prices are great - especially for a steakhouse. When I came, I had a $20 dollar gift certificate, and since I came alone, had a hard time finding something over that price. The service fast and friendly. In fact, almost too fast, hadn't quite finished my salad before my Steak and Crab Legs were brought to my table. The steak was cooked just like I ordered it "as rare as legally possible". It had a great smoked-grill taste as well. The crab legs were good (not really anything special you can do with them really). This side of broccoli was good too. Most places seem to have "steamed broccoli" which seems to drain any flavor. These, however, we're steamed and seasoned to keep their flavor while not being over-flavored by the spices. The only bad thing I can say about the place is no Guinness on tap - but that's just personal taste.

We do quite a bit of take out on late nights. We tried logans take out and it was awful. We called ahead and placed the order. When we got there 30 mins later they had forgotten to put the order in so we had to wait another 30 mins. Do you think they offered us a drink while we wait, no we had to pay for it. When we got the food it was if someone dumped the whole salt shaker on in the box. My wife couldnt eat her meal. My sides were missing, and my steak was well done and burnt. We called the manager and he offered us a gift certificate in response, but we never got it. We talked to an employee who says he just says that to get you to quit being upset but never actually goes through with it. I didn't give it a 1 star for the soul fact there are a couple good waitresses that work here and the food is better in house, not take out.

Went for lunch great sports atmosphere they had an NFL game on which was a plus for me.I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and a side of broccoli meal was good but a little on the salty side. Service was good and with are e club discount paid a little less for the entire meal. Oh and I liked the free peanuts and rolls that came out while we were waiting for our main course.

We dine here a couple times a month. Food is usually really good. Only issue is we love sitting by the bar and inevitably there is a screaming child. Bar area should be adults only. Waitstaff is usually good sometimes better than others.

Our visit was on Friday April 3, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. We were immediately seated which is unusual since most restaurants have a wait time to be seated. I went to the restroom (Men's) and found the conditions grotesquely unsanitary with paper towel litter all over the floor. Our server started out to be friendly. She took our drink and appetizer order and then once we were served our appetizers she took our dinner order. The appetizers were bland and cool to the touch. My wife ordered the rib eye steak with creaser's salad and macaroni & cheese. The steak was highly overdone. The server seemed pissed that my wife complained. The next steak was on the opposite end of the spectrum underdone but was edible. My ribs were almost cold with no flavor. Blandness seems to be the theme. During our stay no manager approached our table asking about our experience nor did we receive a greeting on our way out. With their prices being higher than the competition the quality falls way short.

Logan's was nothing to rave about -- the food was average at best but we did walk in about 30 minutes before closing and the staff was friendly and courteous. The fried mushrooms were good -- the steaks were ok.

This restaurant was one of our favorites a few years ago. The selection of food is good, and quality good for a chain, but the service the past year has deteriorated and is now very poor. Time and again, we have been very frustrated. We often have waited 45 minutes for our food to come. Silverware is often dirty. We also have ordered takeouts on many occasions, and that has been a nightmare! I've waited a half hour after our food was supposed to be ready. Then, the order was wrong! We have often gotten home with our food only to find that they forgot some of our order or it was wrong. This happens most of the time! Tonight, I ordered two meals. Pretty simple. They told me it'd be ready in 20 minutes. It took 45 minutes for our takeout to be ready. And the order was wrong. My hamburger was dried out (was ordered medium well) and had no onion, tomato nor lettuce on it, as ordered. I asked the manager who was standing near if I could have what I ordered. He said he would get what I ordered...so I waited....and waited. The bartender was quite unhelpful and very unfriendly. So, I took my food to the back near the kitchen. Finally, the manager walked out, and realized that he had forgotten to deal with my situation. He finally brought the vegetables out for me. We will NEVER return to this restaurant again! Management does a poor job running this establishment! This is a big disappointment!!!!!

My wife really liked this restaurant, she had the "Hammies" I think, some small pork sandwiches- I had the Fried Chicken tenders. The rolls were great, my food was fine but my wife really liked hers. Prices were decent. The only complaint I guess is that the whole time we were there the servers were exchanging cash/tips with each other out in the open- trading big bills for small bills and such, maybe that's normal in this part of the country- not sure. If stuck in the Midland Hampton again, I would choose this over the other restaurants within walking distance. (Benegans, Applebees, Ruby Tuesdays)

Logan is a restaurant serving food similar to many chain restaurants in midland such as bennigans, damons, and apple bees. logan is above average compare to these other restaurants. Rolls are soft and warm (buttery on top though, some might not like the grease). All you can eat peanuts, great munching while waiting in line and while waiting for food. Feel free to throw shells on the ground they are everywhere on the floor. Like there pick three appetizers, also their wings appetizer are quite good. Entrees are not bad and portions are large. they don't really take reservations but you can call ahead and they will either put your name in line or you are the next person get seated when arrive (should call to find out).

We've eaten here a couple of times. It's...meh. We're not real franchise-steakhose patrons, and if we're looking for faux-rural-quirky atmosphere we'd much rather go to Famous Dave's in Saginaw. If you're too tired to grill your own steak and/or if you get a kick out of peanut shells on bar floors and yee-haw ambience, this is your place.
