I have only been here during the day for meals. I left full and the food was good. There are only a handful of places to eat in Middleville and this is a good one because they have a descent menu and you can get a beer. I had the french dip and steak fries last time I was in and was very satisfied. When its warm out the local bikers start come out of the wood work and colonize here. Have no fear they are just weekend warriors, if you don't know what that is its the guys and gal's that have expensive bikes and a ton of expensive Harley jackets and gear. Have no fear they are not a threat and probably work in one of the offices in the area. Food is good, atmosphere is good I will be back.

I've never been here at night, I have only been here a couple of times when the power was out everywhere for 6 days due to an ice storm and so they were the only place to get a hot meal, but I enjoyed it It's got a decent menu, it's not just garbage bar food. The burgers were good and the service was pleasant. The atmosphere wasn't "blue collar chip on the shoulder", it was more "laid back small town". They were welcoming and they have several TV's and live music/DJ'a from time to time They do get a lot of mid-life crisis wanna be bikers with their $40k Harley's in the summer that like to dominate the streets, but they always seem pretty decent. Really just White Collar guys that always wanted to be tough but couldn't pull it off in between JV football and student council, but now have the time and money to buy over priced leather and bandanas

Waitress was very friendly. Good came out super quick even at noon. Beers were cold, burger that I ordered was a real burger with good flavor and not a crappy frozen patty. Steak fries were hot and cooked right. No complaints here.

Andrea's a great bartender. Demanding clientele with "homey" character. Great pizza and drink specials. Could use a few more TV's for game viewing.

We ordered take-out and it was great. Their steak fries and french fries weren't overly fried and their burgers were good. Good value for 2 adults and a child.

This review is here to negate "Tom F" from the east Side of the state. ( OK, I am a former East Side resident as well). Family friendly. Get off the expressway and stop in. Downtown Coopersville has charm, even if its kind of quiet charm. I ALWAYS make friends here, and enjoy a good burger. Each time someone at the bar or in the next booth is friendly. Even the waitstaff always acts has if we are regulars. Cant say that about every small town pub. They have PBR in bottles for cryin' out loud!

"Down goes Frazier" Muhammed Ali is Champ!!!! Unfortunately this restaurant called Champs is not. The two travelers I went with had been to this bar before. They totally suggested the Champ Burger...so here's what BURGER BOY ate: The Champs Burger - 1/2 pound of ground round on a large kaiser roll. The roll was very large and the burger was "smashed" down. Not much taste, the onions were soft and didn't have any taste. 2 Stars Service: not real good considering we were the only ones in the bar. The waitress was very anti social. 2 Stars If you ever pass through this sleepy little town, try some place else.

It's your typical bar food. This place is not going to be the most amazing bar you've ever set foot into but it gets the job done. Every summer when I'm visiting family we stop in here for drinks and food. Love the free popcorn from the cart in the back. Nice & fun touch.
