The pasties are delicious, but they never have the veggie ones ready to go. Twice this week (we vacation here) we went in to get pasties and the first time they only had frozen veggie pasties and this time they had one hot veggie pasty (we needed two for the vegetarians in our family).

This is one of the best Pasties in the Upper Peninsula. I went here for the first time after reading the reviews here. The hype is real, this is by far one of the greatest pasties that I have ever had. The key is to get the rutabaga which is a cross between carrots and turnips and then pour gravy on top of the whole thing. Delicious.

Unlike some self-absorbed individual who feels she can review a restaurant from 2400 miles away, I've actually been there. After having eaten at Bessie's in St. Ignace a few days earlier, of the two, this one finishes in second place. The pasties were precooked and kept in a warming oven as opposed to freshly baked after you order them. Good deal if you're in a hurry but Bessie's are worth the wait. If/when I'm back in Marquette I'd have no reservations about eating here again.

Really good pasties with an Orange cream soda just awesome. Would of gave it a five but counter help did not seem very happy to be there, not rude but typical sullen teenager.
