I was looking for pizza near Ludington MI checked Yelp and headed to Spankys. Fresh toppings, thin crust very tasty pizza. The dinning in is a little weird not a lot of room, but the service was great. The garlic cheese bread was delicious.

Found out afterwards that they are known for their breadsticks, unfortunately we didn't try those while we're there. We had the Mega Meat Pizza though and it was excellent. The homemade sauce is what makes it!

We happened upon this wonderful pizza restaurant on our trip to Ludington. We are from out of state and had just driven 6 hours and our family of 5 was HUNGRY! Pizza was agreed upon and so we stopped at Spankys. Funny name but seriously awesome food! We didn't let the dancing pizza mascot out front run us off...and boy are we thankful. Seating is pretty nice here there are 4 main 6+ seating areas so it has a family feel. They offer 2 liters which was a cost effective option. They are famous for their breadsticks and I agree they are the best I have ever had! The marinara for dipping was so good,a tad sweet the way I like it! We ordered a large pepperoni pizza to share and after the breadsticks we could hardly finish the pizza. The crust was a good as the breadsticks and the marinara as good as well. They even have a gluten free crust! It was truly a highlight of our vacation. So much so, we came back 4 days later for round 2. Servers were young and needed a little reminding but very nice and helpful. We have found a new vacation tradition....Spankys!

If you aren't sure about getting it, just do it. We ate in and the only down side was there is very little seating, mainly just a carry out place. Only enough to seat about 4 families, but we got there in the nick of time. Breadsticks were incredibly fresh and unique, biggest ones I've ever seen! Very light. Our server was friendly and the other workers were just as nice.

Great place for good pizza, and the breadsticks are unparalleled. Quick pick up at the drive thru too. The breadsticks are pretty big; you could easily break each one in half and have sticks the size of a normal pizza joint.
