The best Wendy's we've been in: Clean, Good Service, Hot Food. I was reluctant to come here because no one has reviewed it. Fast food restaurants prob don't get many reviews because they're "fast food"; however, this one deserves a review because they're are few restaurants around here.

We had a fantastic experience here. Bill was a wonderful host, the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious every morning. Some highlights include: beautiful garden, within walking distance of downtown, private bathroom, friendly & helpful staff. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the Ludington area!

Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. Bill & Jane (and of course Maggie too) graciously welcomed us into their historic 19th century Victorian house and we couldn't have felt more at home. The house is in immaculate condition, beautifully restored and tastefully decorated, with spacious and comfortable common areas, including a nice deck & gazebo overlooking the garden. Jane took our breakfast orders the night before and was happy to accommodate my girlfriend's vegetarian request. Coffee & tea were ready an hour before, and breakfast was served precisely at our requested time. I won't give away any surprises, but Bill estimates they've prepared breakfast over a thousand times, and it shows. In spite of how welcoming and attentive out hosts were, there was still plenty of privacy and personal space. Our first floor room was especially quiet, with its own spacious bathroom and jacuzzi tub. I'm used to staying in nice hotels on business trips, and still, literally everything about the Lamplighter Inn exceeded my expectations. Bill, Jane & Maggie provide a level of hospitality that only comes from truly enjoying what you do, and they do it very well. If you get the opportunity, I highly recommend staying here.

Charming B&B run by a charming couple. Mom and I spent one night on our Michigan road trip this summer. They're just a couple blocks off the "main drag" so there's a bit of traffic going by, but it was quiet while we were there and it was easy to walk down the the restaurants and shopping. They have a small off-street parking lot so you can leave your car with peace of mind. They were very great about accommodating our schedule, and really helpful when I screwed up our reservation the first time I made it. The inn itself is very well kept and comfortable. We stayed on the third floor, and though the stairs were a little narrow to navigate with suitcases, the room was just as nicely done as all the others and the A/C kept the room from getting too warm or stuffy. Nice linens and pillows made for a good night's sleep. Breakfast in the morning was very tasty, well presented, and served with delicious coffee and pleasant conversation. Everything you'd expect from a B&B.
I was traveling on business and wanted to stay somewhere besides a chain hotel, it was fabulous! Great rooms, wonderful breakfast, great staff. I will defiantly return
The Ludington House Bed and Breakfast was offered last year on Groupon. I knew we would be making a visit to family so decided to purchase the offer. It was such a beautiful property and the hosts were extremely welcoming and gracious. I hadn't been to Ludington since I was a small child. The town was very quaint with lots of antique shops and restaurants just a few blocks away from the bed and breakfast. The history of the house was explained as we were shown around the property. The owners lived on site and everything was very well maintained . The room we chose was spacious, and lovely antique items were carefully placed around the room, I had chosen the room got the claw foot tub and the foot bath which were both in working order and which I used much to my relaxation and delight. One of the owners had just gotten out if the hospital after having suffered a heart attack and open heart surgery . They had a wonderful helper but I can only imagine doing all the routine chores was tiring. The breakfasts we enjoyed were fabulous. Everything home made and served with French press coffee. Bottom line is the area is beautiful , the home is beautiful and the service was exquisite . Give Ludington a try, I think you will really enjoy it. We plan to return .

Staff couldn't be more relaxed and pleasant (kind of like SBUX a long rime ago). Coffee was delish and they dressed it with stevia and cream as though it was all part of their regular service, after I simply asked whether Stevia and half&half were available. Magical! When I mentioned the fact that Uncommon Grounds was a brewer of beans in my home town of Chicago, they pointed to the "curtains" in the window, which are simply the hemp bags which the Uncommon Ground.beans are shipped in 100-lb. weights. Way cool décor, folks! I am heading over to Uncommon Grounds right now to buy some beans, because this coffee company and their product both rock! Did you know that Uncommon Grounds on Devon Avenue has their roof covered in solar panels? Also, they are rated (by the authority on the subject) as the "greenest restaurant in the U.S. Yeays for Uncommon Grounds!
Excellent Latte with lots of syrup flavor choices! Perfect pick me up after a long day of hiking at LSP with the dogs. They have sandwiches and sweet cakes and goodies, too. Chicken chili was really good. Open on Sunday!!!! Bonus!!!!!
This is a gem of a place. We made a rule to never eat the same place twice while we were visiting Ludington. I think we would have broken our rule for this place The staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is woodsy playful (make sure to check out the squirrel under the table). Food is quite nice and the coffee is very good. A great little place.

Had a great stay! Nice old home converted into a B&B a few blocks from shopping. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and Ola was a tremendous chef, the breakfasts were great. Snacks were provide all times of day, turn down service was very nice. Met some interesting people at the family table.
This place was amazing! From the beautiful decor to the perfect breakfast served in the morning. Our was pleasantly welcomed by a younger girl (I can't remember her name but I remember she recommended Mac Wood's Dune Rides) who showed us to the fantastic studio suit. We all slept comfortably and woke up to an amazing breakfast. When i tell you everything was cooked perfectly, I mean it! We will be coming back.
Breakfast was nice and Kathy was very sweet. Wasn't a fan of tub only in the bathroom and some aspects of the house could use updating. It's a very old house.

My wife, two kids and I stayed here recently for a night on our way to Traverse City. Kathy is a gem. Sweet and accommodating on all fronts. We stayed on the top floor. LOTS of space, a few funky sleeping areas carved out of the attic, wild shower / toilet all in same room, etc. The breakfast and staff helping Kathy were excellent. I didn't want meat, and Kathy made scrambled eggs just for me. Great place to stay.

Had 12", slightly thin crust but excellent flavor. Mozzarella rix sticks, best cheesebread we have ever had.
This is one of Ludington's best-kept secrets and the BEST pizza in the area. The seating area is very limited, so call ahead and make a reservation (you can place your order then). Come hungry. Love the owner and his speedy, polite staff. Just wish they'd ban smoking. Then it would be sheer pizza heaven!
Got take out. Was told by my inlaws that the preview experience was because they incorrectly ordered thin crust. If you order the medium crust, everything is good. The amount of topings were ridiculous. We had a super pizza. If I had some pizza dough, I could have made a whole other pizza with the amount of meat they put on top.

great place for Chipolte type food. Service is good and the food specials are great. Some live music. I can get food served from the Sister bar next door or Michigan beer brought over from the Mitten. Not to be missed when coming through Ludungton
We ended up here because the Mitten was packed and we were pleasantly surprised! A HUGE wall of whiskey greeted us! And where else can one find Schlitz and Old Style on tap?! I ordered one of the sammies, the Holy Guacamole and it was delicious!! My husband had the Cuban and he enjoyed his as well. It was hard to decide because I really wanted to try one of the varieties of Mac and cheese! This is a great place! We will be back!
So you're visiting Ludington and wondering, "where's the cool local brew pub with great food?" Here it is. Great service, great local MI beer selection, and great food choices. Had a real nice salad and some homemade pulled pork Mac and cheese, can't beat it! Sandwich selection and apps looked good, although we didn't order any. Would definitely visit again if we ever end up In Ludington.
