I don't know why all the other reviews are so poor. The employees were happy, the place was clean, bright, and well stocked. They grilled some onion and peppers for me, added some cilantro (not usually on the list of available items, she chopped some up just for me), and piled the food high. A great burrito bowl by any measure.

Wow has this place gone downhill since it opened. Are they going out of business? It was dank and blah as far as customer service. I think the server barely had a pulse. Expensive 3 tacos on the teensiest tortillas I've seen with 4-5 pieces /bits of chicken all came to a whopping $8 !!!!!! I haven't been here for a looong time as we have good mexican restaurants in the area but I was too lazy to drive a couple miles. Lesson learned . No wonder they are always empty.

I love burritos. Let me clarify, I love big ol' American burritos. I like it when my burritos are measured in shirt sizes, like the 2X burrito. I am currently in talks with a burrito store to sell an XXX-L burrito, a massive, delicious, and erotic burrito; the burrito holy trinity. I'll keep you updated on the progress. Now let it be known that due to my abject poverty, I have pretty low standards when it comes to food, and most everything else in my life. That being said, Qdoba makes a big ol' burrito. I really don't even care what's in it, as long as it carries like a baby in my arms when I walk out. The employees are all pretty even keel. I don't like to be blown with sunshine when I make my burrito runs, so I appreciate this about Qdoba. They work you down the line, ring you up, all without expending a lot of energy. I don't even have to make eye contact, which is nice. It's a pretty standard American burrito. If you have discerning tastes it probably ain't the best, but it is most certainly the only burrito hut in the general vicinity. There used to be a darn good burrito purveyor across the street, but it isn't there anymore, so that doesn't do anybody any good. I do have to agree with Eric A., the bathrooms are quite nice. Not really room for a shave and a sink bath, but clean nonetheless. Also, if you live in my sister's house, it is right down the road, which is pretty convenient. So when you're flush with plasma money and get a hankering for a big ol' burrito, this isn't the worst place you can go. Hmm, you smell like cookies. Snicker-doodle. Delicious!

This place features my typical qualms with Qdoba: 8 dollars for an unsatisfying about of cheap food. Additionally, the server was in a pretty bad mood and seemed to intentionally give me a minimum amount of the ingredients I asked for. The place didn't seem very clean and inviting. However, the bathroom was somewhat clean so that was nice. I'd go back if I was in a pinch, but it seemed a notch down from other Qdobas I've been to.

In the dirty world of quick service Mexican joints, Qdoba, in my opinion, is in the middle of the pack. It's also my opinion that it's pretty darn difficult to screw up Mexican food, so I guess this place has a lot going for themselves! As I always state in my reviews - I count calories. I don't go to this type of restaurant often because I am typically looking out for what I am eating. BUT - a limited time menu item has gotten my undivided attention - the naked Mango Salad! This salad excites my taste buds to the extreme. It also excites me that it does not have to be loaded full of cheese or dressing for it to be absolutely delicious! I got mine with chicken, pico degallo, and I did get the cilantro lime dressing on the side - which was tangy, adding the perfect blend of flavors to the salad.

AVOID THIS LOCATION - been to lots of quick, Mexican restaurants so I'm not expecting fine dining. I am however expecting a clean place to eat and would love warm food. This particular location was dirty - no clean tables, hasn't been vacuumed in ?? - and our burritos were cold. Even the cheese didn't melt. The chicken was dry and had several charred/burnt pieces that had to be picked out. When I asked for our burritos to be warmed, the manager explained that they had no way to do that. Well of course not, if it wasn't warm to begin with, how could I expect it to be warmed up? Silly me. I ate half cold and ditched the rest. Yuck.

When I first started coming here around September 2010, the quality of the food was 5 stars/A+, but unfortunately it has declined with time. I always order the chicken burrito, but the quality of the chicken is never consistent- It is either cold or burnt. One time I ordered a chicken burrito and it the server put mostly rice in it, and barely any chicken. I thought I ordered a chicken burrito, not a rice burrito. That same time, the server rushed me through, and didn't even wrap the burrito right, and all the contents were spilling out as I ate it. There wasn't even a rush, so it didn't make sense. Also sometimes the server mixes all the contents of the food up in the burrito, which makes it taste different. I'd rather them ask me first before mixing it all up. Also prices have gone up significantly since I started coming. The chicken burrito used to be $5.99, but now is $6.60+ after tax. Please fix the quality of chicken and continue to strive for consistent service. By the way I have dined at this place well over 70 times. Please improve the quality so I continue to do so. = )

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
