Pan pan is awesome, I love their general tsao's !! Their egg rolls are huge and the portions are humongous as well. I have been coming here for 15 or so years!

The pineapple chicken... Where was the pineapple? Loaded with huge chunks of a variety of veggies. some creamy translucent sauce that was very salty and a few bits of chicken. It was horrible. I wish small carry out places would inc a description of all their items- veggies - sauce... But if the dish is called pineapple chicken, I expect to find lots of chicken and pineapple. I threw it out. The crab Rangoon was delish. The fried rice was good.

I was at a relative's and She brought this home for us. All I can say is WOW! Best I ever had. I dont live very close, but it's worth the drive to get it.. I loved the fact it wasnt over salty and huge portions.

First and last time ever eating here. The general tsos was the worst I haver had and I eat a lot of it. I asked for xxhot and is was just blah. The kid working the counter just leaned against it day dreaming. The fried rice was mush, the egg roll was on par with most Chinese take outs.

I have been eating this Chinese food since I was 5. They give generous portions and not once have I been displeased. I would come home from college every Sunday just to eat pan pan with my family. My go to always is the House Special Chow Fun. I have nightmares of this place closing down...seriously.

This is solid "take out" Chinese food. You get FRESH food, A TON OF IT, at excellent prices. This is NOT gourmet, high end stuff, but it is great carryout. I got the dinner portion of beef & brocoli. It eat a LOT. There was no way I could finish this in one sitting, so I had leftovers for a snack the next day. I'm on the eastside, and these guys blow the local competition out of the water... Good menu selection too. Will try Singapore noodles next. I can definitely recommend this place.

Since the new ownership the food that was absolutely great, is now terrible. I have had to find another Chinese restaurant , which is to bad it was very close and now I travel 10 miles for excellent Chinese food. I would like to know where the old owners went I heard somewhere in Garden city.

Absolutely horrible food now with new owners. I will never go back. If I could give them a negative star rating I would.

My friend Man Yu the owner of Pan Pan helped me out. He talked to me about my past review. The food is much better!I visited today on monday the 23rd and talk to mainly about the various orders and we both worked out any difference is that we might of had Cheff Yu is a very gracious person I also expressed my gratitude for is all continued friendship and he expressed our gratitude for me to adjust my review and tell them understand how Yelp works. he even wanted to ask me what else he could do to make his food better and make the restaurant better overall I only had that 1 issue with that 1 order way back went but I had to write an honest review He's fully understood meNow and things will get much better he promises. As I will promise to be more thorough in my reviews.

This place was good and prolly is the best Chinese food in Livonia. But I went to get our order for the family. My wife went in and took the little guy cause he needed to use the bathroom. They allowed her to walk thru the kitchen. OMG of the look on her face. I didn't know what just happened so when she got back in the car she told me what she saw an we just left and will never eat there period. Might be a wake up call about these low budget Chinese spot.

When I'm looking for a chinesse food fix in the Livonia area I head to Pan Pan. I'm always impressed by the food quality and the prices are very reasonable especially when compared to other places in the Livonia area. My favorite dish is their pan-pan chicken which includes pineapple. You can get the spice level adjusted to your wishing. My only wish is that they served warm rolls like you can get at other places. But that's not a deal breaker for me so I always return to Pan Pan over other places in the area!

Delicious, inexpensive, and generous portions. I always get Almonds chicken and Egg Drop soup and it is enough for two lunches.

YUCK! But I will give them one thing, large portions. Greasy, greasy, greasy. I ordered the Orange Chicken. I got florescent orange past the expiration date chicken in some sort of sauce that turned to jello by the time I got home. No flavor what so ever. The rice had the same smelly, old chicken in it and was coated with grease. The sure sign of BAD Chinese cooking is when you put the leftovers in the fridge and you need a hacksaw to cut them up to re-heat them. This place REALLY sucks!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
