I love this place. The burgers are delicious and you can get whatever you want on them. There are a huge variety of toppings including blue cheese mayo(which is delicious). But because they make it all to order, prepare to wait longer in drive through or in line. The food comes out piping hot though. The fries are amazing. They don't have a children's menu though but they do have a great grilled cheese which my kids love. My daughter also loves the fish sandwich.

I love this place- I live close and would be hesitant to admit how much we eat it. Just plain good fast food burgers. The burgers are fresh, lots of great toppings. Equal to a Five Guys if not better in my mind. The service is friendly- and it's never too crowded so you don't have to wait much longer than it takes to cook a burger fresh. The pricing is also very reasonable for the quality. Go for the double- the single just isn't as well balanced meat to toppings to bun. The fish sandwich is also maybe the best fast food fish sandwich I've had. Only quibbles- wish they had a kid's size burger, and the fries while in no way bad are a little uneven. Sometimes a little too greasy or a little too overcooked. I shake my head when I see the line around the building of the McD's up the street. Don't these people know what they're missing?

I stopped in to grab something small and quick for lunch and really their smallest option was their single burger (meal). At first not realizing that you have to pick your burger's toppings I was thrown a little off-guard but I had them put on some onions, jalapenos and cheese with mustard and ketchup and called it a day. Their burger comes double wrapped, in paper and then foil to keep it warm, and their fries come in a flat wide tray and there's a lot of them FYI. The burger was juicy and pretty solid....definitely a better burger than Mc D's or some such place, while the fries, well nothing is better than Mc D's fries right?! Still really good though...crispy but a little oily. Service was a little slow but this isn't a cookie cutter approach so I think it's worth trying again.

Stopped here at my lunch today as it's around the corner from my office. Was so excited to try it. Their menu is simple, but they focus on fresh, quality ingredients (that got me excited!). The lady that took my order through the drive-through was very friendly and nice. Unfortunately, I waited 17 minutes for my food after ordering...I do NOT consider that fast food. I would have preferred to go to Basement Burger Bar or another sit down burger place if I was going to wait that long. The food came and the fries were amazing. Some of the best French fries I've ever had. The yummy kind with the skin from the potato still on there and they're super crunchy and fresh. YUM! Unfortunately the burger was a sad story. The burger patty looked grey, the lettuce was brown and the pickles were 4 "butt" pieces. I tried it anyway and just as I suspected - not so good. Such a shame...

I wanted to try this place out and get me a "Bigg Burger" but then I noticed the life size model of a cow staring at me in the front window of the place and felt guilty. I am not sure why the owners thought this statue would make people crave a burger. As a veggie patty did not seem to be an option I decided just to get a small chili which they claim they make fresh everyday. Maybe they do but it had the consistency of canned chili that had been pureed. It didnt taste bad, just odd. Some strange seasonings that I could not identify. I'll stick to Wendy's.

This is an awesome fast food-style burger. Tons of toppings to choose from, most of which are included for free with the burger. Similar to five guys. Great fries. Highly recommended.

Iv'e passed by Bigg Burger a thousand times and always thought, meh...just another burger dude popped up in town. Well this time was different, not sure if it was something in the air, or the voices I was hearing (in my stomach) saying "eat burger now" (or something like that). In any event, I had the great pleasure of finding myself feasting on a Bigg Burger burger, and I am sure glad I did. As the other reviewers said, the toppings were super fresh tasting and good, the meat patties were decent in size, quality and flavor, and the condiments were really good, but surprisingly with all the things I asked for on the burger, it was not sloppy or overbearing. By the way...try the herb & garlic mayo, it was really tasty. At $7.29 for the #2 double combo (59¢ more for cheese), it was a a great value, was hard to finish, and its important to note that purchasing the same thing at BK or MC-D would cost you more and talk about processed. The previous eatery that used to operate at this address, was thankfully torn down and replaced by this very awesome and relevant burger dealer, I just hope others continue to realize the value, and more importantly the quality here, and forego the multi-kazillion dollar franchise of bland badunkadunkness, believe me...it will be well worth your time, and helps out the little guy. I will be back!

Burger and fries are good. Chicken sandwich is good, but very greasy. The drive thru service usually takes a long time even if you are the only customer. I assume this is because they make everything fresh. Good, but I prefer Five Guys.

Give me a moment while I collect my thoughts... Ok, I'm ready... A-fricking-mazing!!! Why have I not been here sooner?! Complete deprivation... I was blessed with In-N-Out and Tommy's in Cali, so I never could have imagined that I'd ever have a fast food burger here in MI. that compares to the deliciousness of what I had in Cali, until Bigg Burger entered my life... The meat, very tasty... The condiments, plentiful and of great variety... The toppings, plentiful and of great variety as well... And everything so very fresh! Now, for the downer... Much like In-N-Out, the fries at Bigg Burger just aren't up to par... But, that never stopped me from eating at In-N-Out, and it won't stop be from eating at Bigg Burger... Why? Because the burgers are THAT ridiculously good! Well done, Bigg Burger!

It's still better than any other burger joint in southeast Michigan. Five Guys, Jaws and Smash make me feel so tired after a meal.... that I drag my feet for the rest of day... if not pass out. You can call it comfort food, I call it crappy greasy food. I measure the quality of food on how it makes me feel afterwards and Bigg Burger you never bring down. It's feel good food hands down!

Stopped in here for first time today about 3 in afternoon. Sierra took our order and she did so with a smile and was very polite and friendly. we ordered a combo #1 and a single burger. have to say we enjoyed both the burger and the fries much better than 5 Guys. The bun did fall apart with every bite and the condiments all seemed fresh and tasteful. Fries are really good and were hot when we received them. Burger was comparable to 5 guys in every way. Liked the service here better. Only negatives were that the place is a little cramped inside and there were a lot of dirty tables so it made it hard to sit where we wanted. we will be back.

This place rocks!! I suspect it was another drive-thru burger joint trying to give McD's and Wendy's some competition. Boy was I wrong. These burgers are in an entire different class that the normal fast food places. The topings certainly part of it but the buns, my god those buns, are amazing and the meat is cooked perfectly. The toppings offered are very diverse including various spreads (blue cheese mayo!) and delicious. The fry's are really good too. I highly recommend this place. My only suggestion is that they offered some suggested choices i.e. a "classic burger" which has normal toppings, and a Tex-Mex which has these toppings, etc. It's almost too much to pick from. For every burger you need to specify what you want on it.

Bigg Burger looks a lot like an old Taco Bell that used to be in this location. It's clean, counter service and a little slow. They make the food fresh, as ordered, so I expect a little more time, but not close to 25/30 minutes for a burger and fries. I order a double with fries and it does remind you of a toned down Five Guys experience. The burger was good and the fries were thin and a little to greasy for my wife. She had a fish sandwich which was quite tasty as well. We tried a Chili and couldn't eat it. I am used to the Wendy's type Chili and this was a thick Coney style with stringy beef. The price was very close to the F.G. nearby also. I can go 3 stars and I may be back...

Went back for a burger yesterday. A double with cheese, grilled mushrooms, tomato & lettuce. It came with a bucket-like amount of fries (I couldn't even finish them all), and a small refillable diet. All was well with the world! Then this morning I find a coupon for $1 off a breakfast croissant. How can I resist? I got one with egg, cheese, & bacon. Melt in your mouth artery clogging goodness it was! What a way to start the day!

With a plethora of burger places opening in the Livonia area we decided we needed to run a little experiment. Order the same items from all three places IN the same night, and do a side by side (and burger by burger) comparison. Bigg Burger was our first stop. Used to be a Taco Bell. Still feels very Taco Bell-y, with the whole assembly line thing. Tons of workers, so many that some were sitting at tables and eating. We split a Combo #1 for $7.30 - single cheeseburger with American cheese, light mayo and sauteed mushrooms, small fries and a soda. Very nice selection of free toppings, including sauteed veggies, banana peppers and green olives. Large variety of free sauces too, with some interesting ones thrown in for fun - blue cheese mayo, and chipotle sauce. Cheese, bacon and avocado are the only toppings that cost more money. Extremely skimpy burger patty, and the whole burger was squashed flat. The fries remind me of the kind your Mom would make if she made them from scratch (no Ore Idas) - slinky, greasy and salty.

Good selection of toppings and sauces. The bun was decent....however the burger was very thin..and salty as hell. Fries were ok. A little greasy. Tomo wont be going back

The french fries are really good. Well, good if you like your fries greasy, which I do. I visit this place often for the fries. I am not really a burger person, but I have ordered the breakfast egg croissant and the grilled cheese sandwich, and I was very happy with both. You get to select your sauces and your toppings. As many as you'd like (except for bacon and cheese, which are extra). They also have a fish sandwich and a chicken sandwich that I haven't tried yet. They serve shakes, which I have tried. They have chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and a different flavor of the month each month. I was pleased with the shakes.

  • Tim K.

Burgers....wow! I really like the burgers here. Yes they are a little greasy and yes they can be sloppy with all the toppings they offer but thats what makes a good burger. If you have never been here think of Wendys style but MUCH better!!! They are a little pricey ($5-$8) but you get what you pay for. No freezers, no microwaves, just good, real meat. Im not a big fry guy but did have the chili cheese fries and liked them but they are a little soggy. If you like crisp fries def dont get the Chili\Cheese on them. As others mention it's an old Taco Bell but they did a good job of giving the building it's own style. They also have shakes and other stuff on the menu but I didnt try it all...yet! The selection of toppings for the burger is a great concept!! Keep it up! Fast food meets quality!

Overall, Bibb Burger was a good eating experience. The burger itself was alright. Ingredients all tasted fresh, and there are a ton of toppings to choose from. My only complaints are that the burger was incredible messy to eat (even though I did not choose messy toppings) and the herb seasoned mayo tasted processed/overly peppery. The fries, though were delicious. I think that 5 Guys and Smashburger have much better tasting burgers, but this is definitely a cut above fast food chains. I also appreciated how attentive and friendly the staff was at this location. I would go back and eat here again

What a tasty treat this was! I cashed in a Groupon for a double burger combo. We picked it up and took it home. The burger was delicious! The burger and toppings looked and tasted fresh. I chose Swiss cheese, garlic and herb mayo, tomato, lettuce, onion and pickles. I have to give them credit for using decent tomatoes this time of year! The fries were plentiful and included the skins...yum. And I give them extra credit for offering malt vinegar in the dining area. Yeah, it's a fast food chain. And yeah, it's $8 for a combo, but it was fresh and tasty. Worth a shot when you don't want to commit to full service dining and yet want something better than typical fast food burgers.

  • Don K.

Quite possibly the best burger I have had in some time. I don't eat many but most recently I have been to Bagger Dave's and Basement Bar Burger and this beat both of them. Quick, fresh and flavorful. As for the space it needs to be cleaned between diners, the restrooms were a bit dirty and we waited too long to give our order at the counter with so many people working the shift.

Headed home from an appt. and stumbled across Biggs. Definitely a real burger. Great topping options, herb and garlic spread was one of my favorites. Great, fresh fries. I was pleasantly surprised and will be back when visiting this area again!

Both burgers ordered were made wrong! They remade one of them, gave a sauce on the side for the other. The burgers were just "ok" and the chili was not very good. Lucky for me, I asked for a sample before I ordered it. Very poor first impression of Bigg Burg... I don't have any reason to return.

  • Dell D.

We went here for the first time to redeem a Groupon and we were pleasantly surprised with our scrumptious meals. The fries are off the chart, fresh and perfectly seasoned. The burgers were tasty and grilled chicken was ideal. They give you tons of options to make the sandwich your own including a choice of cheeses, sauces, grilled mushrooms, sprouts, avocado and on and on! The burgers have that homemade feel but restaurant quality. The average meal price $8.00 which is an awesome value! We dined in but they also a drive- thru! Bonus! But this isn't a standard fast food restaurant by any means... Great staff and patrons are nice and loved my hubby (he is chatty and friendly and enjoys small talk). Smile! Check them out today! We will be back!

Love this place! I think the burgers are WAY better than 5 Guys, and not as greasy! Great fresh fries and the toppings are to DIE for! Who else offers alfalfa sprouts on a burger? The also have an amazing FISH sandwich during Lent. Real Fish with a nice beer batter and your choice of toppings for around $5. Can't beat that! I'm definitely a fan!

Sometimes, I just want a big juicy burger. So, with a name like "Bigg Burger", I thought it would be the perfect stop. While the burger was very tasty (there are many different options for condiments and toppings, which was impressive!) it wasn't "Bigg". It did taste better than a regular fast food burger, but I was sad. I wanted MEAT! Liz R. is right- the fries taste more homemade. They were thinner and still had the skins on them. yum yum yum. I will probably go here again, but at $7.30 for the single meal, it might not be as often as my burger cravings would like.

    (3)
  • Joe P.

Loved the choice of toppings. Fries were a nice change. Burger was fresh, cooked to order (not over killed like 5 guys). Could of been more meat if you were to go by the name.

Well we watched in anticipation as they converted the old Taco Bell into Bigg Burger.........so Opening day we went. It was crowded as expected....but there is no rime or reason as to where you order and where you then stand to pick up your order. We got our order...burger not bad......my wife got a Grilled Cheese...it was smashed flat. She didn't eat it! Now to the fries......If you can't get these right. CLOSE the doors. In order to get them crispy you need to double fry them....you can google search how to make fries crispy. Fives guys even tells you they double fry them. Went back several times over a couple of months......slimy...greasy...undercooked fries. Sorry not my favorite place. Get the fries right and the burgers might be OK......The burgers sure don't look like the picture on the website!

Wow, this place is great!! Fresh fab burgers and fries with any ingredients you can imagine. I am never going back to Five Guys. The staff are always friendly and the restaurant is immaculate. Love this place!

Getting better...yay! I really want to see this family-owned business succeed! Gave lnch there another try last week and was pleased that the fries were hot and crispy. The burger was still delicious & the service was a little bit faster. Price point is still high, but you are going to pay more for fresh ingredients.

Big Burger is a wonderful place to have a burger. They are never frozen they don't even own a freezer or microwave. The condiments, and fries are fresh and gormet quality. It has a 50's malt shoppy feel in the dining room. In the summer it probably will have tables on the patio to eat at. It was a great place for a quick burger with the hubby.

    (5)
  • Jonathan J.

Not as good Five Guys or In-N-Out, but a very decent burger. Had good service as well. Place has a nice patio to eat outside as well. I really enjoy burger places that offer all kinds of toppings and I can make exactly what I am feeling.

    (4)
  • Robert G.

Decent Burger. Fries leave something to be desired. The price also leaves something to be desired. Five Guys is way better. If you live near by Primos has the best burger in a mile radius.

  • Alyssa T.

Okay, its pretty simple, better than alot of normal burgers out there, but I can't say that it beats alot of deli burgers. Their advantage is that they do cook to order and my rare burger actually came out rare. Their buns are nice and fresh and service takes care of the line quickly. Don't expect the ooey gooey goodness of in-n-out, but rather expect a correctly done, non-pretentious burger. If you want a fancy gourmet burger, don't come here. If you want to not be disappointed, come here.

A(nother) non-chain burger place ... The menu is very reminiscent of of Wendy's ... 'circa 1978. This is a good thing. A few main ingredients with a broad assortment of of toppings & spreads ... see their website. I opt'd for the single patty cheesburger with lettuce, tomato & mayo. Based on the time required, I'm guessing the patty was cooked to order. The thin beef patty was a tad more generous than FUB; smaller than Jaws, Motor City & Basement. It is available one way: well-done. For a well-done burger, mine was not over-cooked. Nor was it over-salted. The beef, had good beef flavor. Their website says "Angus." The lettuce was fresh, crisp and chilled. The two slices of winter tomato, were the typically dreadful, winter tomato. Why do I even bother? The American cheese was was nicely melted over the burger. The bun ... was just a white bread bun. Nothing special. If I could change one [1] thing, I'd change the bun. Total cost: $3.91 Value? Very good. WiFi? Dunno. I used the drive-thru. CCW? Dunno. I used the drive-thru. Service? Friendly, perky and prompt enough, considering that it is a cook-to-order operation. Will I return? If I'm in the area and wanting a burger; absolutely.

There is a lot to love about Bigg Burger!! The best thing about Bigg Burger that makes it way better than any other fast food place around is that all of your food is made to order! No fries sitting under heat lamps; no precooked burgers sitting in hot boxes. I love that when we order grilled peppers as a topping, for example, the peppers are grilled to order! You can choose your type of cheese, unlike some other places that only have crappy American cheese. There is a very nice variety of toppings and delicious, flavorful sauce options. I like the way they wrap their burgers too. Their fries are crisp but still potatoey. They have more options for beverages than most fast food places. I love their chipotle BBQ sauce, and their cheddar cheese is good too. ALSO, they have FRESH jalapeños, not pickled! That's really important to me. Some room for improvement- If I order my burger cooked well-done I want it to actually be cooked well-done. (Edit: I had to order my burgers "extra well done" to get them without pink inside.) And I wish the alternatives to soda weren't v8 juices, which are all GMOs, or juices with high fructose corn syrup. I also am not a fan of the Nestle water. Besides my opinions on their horrible CEO, their water has additives. It's not just pure spring water. You can do better, Bigg Burger! I like that you have non soda options, since I don't drink soda, but please contract some better companies for your bottled beverages.

My fiance and I ate here a few months ago out of limb because we had a craving for quick burgers. The double cheeseburger with bacon I ordered was phenomenal, juicy, large in size, and very tasty. Customer service was top notch and our order was ready fairly quickly for how busy they were with dine-in and drive up. Their fries were cooked very well too. For the price and amount of food, this is a steal. I'd come back here.

Pleasantly surprised the burger being so yummy. Fresh, hot and tasty. I don't add all the different toppings. The price was fair, too. I don't care for the fries- greasy, soggy and they have a blech aftertaste.

Not as good Five Guys or In-N-Out, but a very decent burger. Had good service as well. Place has a nice patio to eat outside as well. I really enjoy burger places that offer all kinds of toppings and I can make exactly what I am feeling.

Decent Burger. Fries leave something to be desired. The price also leaves something to be desired. Five Guys is way better. If you live near by Primos has the best burger in a mile radius.

Headed home from an appt. and stumbled across Biggs. Definitely a real burger. Great topping options, herb and garlic spread was one of my favorites. Great, fresh fries. I was pleasantly surprised and will be back when visiting this area again!
