It was a fun stop on a day full of wine tasting. The tasting is free (be sure to leave a tip), and the drinks at the bar were delicious and only about $6 each! They took time to zest lemons and all that. Compared to the price we pay for drinks like that in Chicago, this place is a steal! Very interesting and unique set of liquors, I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
What fun! This wasn't even on our radar during our winery tour but was recommended to us by the previous winery during our tasting. Really glad we stopped here. Our "bartender" was so entertaining and did an excellent job of thoroughly educating our group on all of the wonderful spirits and liqueurs they offer. We ended up sampling most of them and walked out of there with several bottles each. Highlights were definitely the Horseradish Vodka, Northern Roots Ginger Liqueur, Jack Pine Gin and the Mackinac Island Fudge liqueur - yumm! Probably should have bought more. I thought the prices were reasonable especially considering the unique flavor profiles.
Stopped here over the weekend on a whim. We passed by it in the car and decided to make a quick U-turn to try it out, glad we did! First off, they have a gluten free vodka that is not made from potatoes, or from grapes like some of them. Their Deer Camp Vodka is made from Sugar Beets and was pretty good. We tasted everything they had, for free by the way, and ended up walking out with a killer Horseradish Vodka which I think will go great in some Bloody Mary's and also the Mackinac Island Fudge Liqueur which OMG tasted like you were drinking Hershey Syrup straight from the bottle! Their tasting bar is big and can easily handle about 20 people at a time. Then if you want an actual drink, they have a full bar right next to it where they will make you whatever you want using their spirits! Glad we decided to stop at this place and will come back soon!

Wonderful place. Young staff, but so friendly, accommodating, and professional (college-age). Well kept. Not fancy, but very comfortable. It was busy before and after our stay in July, so we felt we had the whole place to ourselves. Reasonably priced. Wi-fi only works well in living room area. I and my friend eat very healthy, but no healthy food for breakfast. Standard continental...cereal, bagels, etc. Coffee is excellent!!! Would definitely go back, and want to plan exactly that for maybe next year or the year after. Fun water activities with minimal or no additional cost. Great family place too. We stayed in the main building, but many cabins availalble too.

We had a lovely stay at this B&B while vacationing in Leland. My only reason for not rating a 5 is that we had to walk down the hall to a private bath which was the only room available. All others are ensuite. So If that is a concern please ask for one. The food is always our favorite part of the B&B experience. Alice is s fabulous cook and takes pride in choosing fresh ingredients and baking using local fruits such as the famed Michigan cherries. The house is lovingly restored, the bed and linens cozy and comfortable. A great location for enjoying LeLand, sleeping bear dunes, and Glen Haven. We would enjoy returning.

Great people, internet and coffee! Crimson cup is a great supplier.
Sour milk. Sour response. Overall poor experience. Was surprising because we usually have a good experience.
The cookie & espresso were good, but the service was surly. Slim selection of baked goods. Prices were good but you can do better.

I'm a bit of a food snob - so, when I say the fried perch dinner was awesome, I mean it. great service and awesome M-22 atmosphere. Decent beers on tap and good cocktails. Definitely worth stopping in if your are on the narrows.
Dick's is a real, honest-to-goodness up north bar with a drop dead gorgeous Art Deco back bar and fabulous mounted fishing and hunting trophies. The patty melt was good, meat cooked as ordered, but a tad bit skimpy on the grilled onions. My husband's perch sandwich was crisp and the side of cole slaw was tangy. Great bartender.
I'm sitting in the restaurant right now. We got here at 5:30 and it's currently 7:06pm. We still haven't gotten our food. The waitress has been ignoring our table and has messed up our drink orders two different times. This is the absolute WORST restaurant I've ever been to. Can't believe they're somehow still in business. In addition, another waitress just walked up to our table trying to get our drink orders, not recognizing that we'd been here for an hour and a half AND two minutes later the customers at the table next to us asked us for some of our chairs because the wait staff didn't set theirs up for them. Absolutely horrendous. My food finally came at 7:20, but the rest of my family's food didn't show up until 7:40 and we just asked them to box it up because we didn't want to spend another minute there. Eating here was a horrible decision and ruined our night.

Created an account to write this review. Terrible food, terrible (young and inexperienced) service. We came all the way from Glen Lake to give this restaurant a shot, while the drive is breathtakingly beautiful the experience was not worth the trip. Mussels were inedible, mozzarella al forno was small cold mozzarella balls in lukewarm subpar tomato sauce, pizza was cafeteriaesque at best. Bunch of 'Italian" stuff for sale in the lobby--ugh, very Cracker Barrel. Lights too bright, ambiance all wrong, drinks watery, prices sinful for the quality. Clientele seems to be a much older crowd. IF you are considering making the trip to come here--in a word--don't. There are way too many excellent restaurants on the peninsula to spend an evening here...alas, we wasted the last night of our vacation (and a bunch of money) in this dining room. Their self-purported hype and pretension only add to the ridiculously bitter aftertaste of this place. Bella Fortuna: no thanks.
We recently dined here and had a really bad experience from start to finish. Our drink order was screwed up. The bread was stale. The pizza was worse than frozen pizza. All the appetizers were universally bad (almost everything was cold and the mussels tasted rancid). The pasta was mushy. The entrees were forgettable at best. Lastly, the prices were through the roof!
We had a mixed experience at Bella. First, the renovations are outstanding. The place is just lovely. We sat on the patio because we did not have reservations, and we loved it. The waitress was very inexperienced and had to read everything from her pad. She tried very hard but was not well versed on the food or its preparation. But she was very young. More seasoned waitstaff would be a plus. We prefer brains over looks. We ordered inexpensive wine and it was nicely complex and perfect with the food. The arocini was the best part of the meal but expensive. The gnudi was tasty but also pricey for the portion size . The duck was exquisite. We also ordered an eggplant appetizer but t was inedible. The crust was leathery and bland and the eggplant was undercooked and bitter. The lemoncello was swoon-worthy. We will be back but because we had such highs and lows, worry that it will be very expensive to sample too many items to find the ones we like. I did not notice if there is a pre-fixe menu, but that might solve that issue.
