This is food to die for! If you like delicious, authentic Armenian food, you will be amazed at how good their food is. The rice pilaf is even better than my Armenian grandmother used to make. I don't know how they manage to make such a huge quantity of food for a festival and have it all turn out so perfect, but they do.

Great food always busy bc the food is so good. Been there three time and have not had bad service or food loved it.
This place does it right. From the outside you would never suspect how good this joint is. Despite an unhealthy obsession with roosters, this restaurant brings it. First off, they have an orange juice machine that is a thing of beauty. It takes oranges and turns then into liquid gold. I may be exaggerating just a little, but it is still freaking good. On top of the orange juice, they have a wonderful selection of classic breakfast and lunch fare. I am particularly partial to the skillets. Moreover, what sets this place apart from most solid breakfast or brunch joints is how much of their menu is made from scratch. You have to love a place that has house made sausages. You may be able to find trendier restaurant doing breakfast, but you'll be hard pressed to find a restaurant that is better than Early Bird. This review does not mean that I feel this restaurant is on the level of Marais. However, for what thus place does, it is nearly perfect.
You know a place is good if people wait in a line that's out the door to get in. That's the case at Early Bird Cafe and I will admit.....I've happily lined up to eat there many times. Their breakfast and lunch food is so fresh and delicious it will keep you coming back no matter what! It is a tiny building but there is a large sign you will see from the road. Just pull in and park behind the building. It's first come, fist serve - no reservations are accepted. If there is a line just wait until you get to the front, no need to put your name on a list or anything. They are open from 7am-3pm everyday excepts Sunday they open at 8am. Prices are extremely reasonable at Early Bird, everything on the menu is under $10. They always have unique breakfast specials and as I mentioned before - their food is delish! I recommend the breakfast skillets (they are HUGE), the fresh squeezed OJ and the sandwiches. Though Early Bird is small it is has a family atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The friendly vibe combined with the tasty food makes this place worth the wait!

The first time I called it was because they delivered, but I think they have the best Chinese food in the area. I've tried the Mongolian Beef, Sweet and Sour Pork, Almond Boneless Chicken, and they've all been good. They also have some unique dishes like the Singapore Noodles which I thought was very good. Lastly, the delivery is always accurate and prompt.
Great food. Lemon chicken, wonton soup and egg roll. Everything was great, large portions. Chef is from Peking house.
Perhaps the best Chinese food in all of Oakland County. Very authentic, especially the Cantonese selections. Szechuan & Hunan also outstanding tho. General Tsao Chicken, Garlic Chicken, Szechuan Shrimp & Kung Pao Shrimp among my faves. Owners Alex & So are delightful and always aim to please.

Without a doubt a classic Keego Italian eatery with consistent quality and friendly service. I love this place!! Gino, Marco and Rocco know the restaurant business very well and always aim to please. They are also very community oriented and often donate and help and host when needed. Love the antipasto salad and their pizza is to die for!! Did I mention how Tasty their minestrone soup is? Get over here and see for yourself why Ginos is the best!
Awesome pizza and peroni beer on tap. It can't get better. To keep things honest pizza is all I ever get here so it's all I can recommend. However, if you want pizza skip the chains and go here!
This is my daughter's and my favorite hometown sit-down pizza spot. Nice to have such a great restaurant in our neighborhood. Their breadsticks are delicious.

The Tuesday lunch special: 1/3rd lb cheese burger Fries or chips Domestic beer or soft drink $7.43 including tax; not tip. It is good value. The burger is acceptable - but nothing really special I'm guessing Sysco or GFS. It was cooked well-done. No char whatsoever. The cheese was thoroughly melted - Yea! It was served on a fresh sesame seed bun. The proportions of the burger complimented the bun. I asked for the burger fixings on the side. They were plentiful, chilled and fresh. The fries were better than average; a thin-ish cut, kind'a in the spirit of Mc'D's fries. What I liked: They were not over-salted. Thank you. I forget the waitress' name. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and could anticipate. If you want to talk, she'll talk. If you prefer to dine in silence, that's good too. The food is 3.5-stars. The service & value push it to 4-stars. WiFi should not be used for anything that requires a login/password.
Fun local bar. Very good burgers and reubens. They have a good turn out for karaoke nights. The host is funny and gets the crowd into it. Bartenders and servers are very nice.
Food is awful. Beer lines are dirty. Place is filthy. Staff isn't helpful. Awful experience there, I just wanted beer fries and a burger and was left completely unsatisfied. 0 star worthy

Yardbird Smoked Meats

Reviews:
I understand that this place is recently re-branded and opened...but our meal earlier this week just missed the mark. The previous reviewer's say the food is good...and I simply can't give a blanket statement like that. There are a couple tasty things on the menu (fried chicken!!), but for the most part, it seems as if the chef is uncomfortable with BBQ. I fear that the owners are just hopping on the BBQ bandwagon, and attempting to compete with the likes of The Woodshop, Slow's, etc. I desperately want more quality restaurants in this general area to thrive. I'm hoping the owners of Yard Bird are open to the criticism presented here on Yelp. The restaurant itself is charming, rustic, and cozy. My only complaint about the atmosphere was the contemporary country music. Others might disagree, but I feel so alienated when I have to hear "save a horse, ride a cowboy", and other trashy anthems. I'm trying to eat here, man. As far as food, the fried chicken is FABULOUS. Crispy, juicy, flavorful...yum. Get the fried chicken. The roasted apples were also delicious, I really liked that they had savory herbs paired with them instead of your typical brown sugar or maple syrup. Everything else was, well, just alright. The macaroni and cheese had a good flavor, but the cracker crust was too chunky and thick for my liking. The andouille sausage tasted like regular ol' kielbasa. The smoked meats (brisket & pulled pork) we're trimmed properly, had huge chunks of fat, and just weren't all that good. I expect brisket to come in slices, this was just falling apart and I couldn't really tell the difference between that and the pork. The cornbread is awful. Dry, bland, entirely disappointing. I don't understand how a chef would make that cornbread and taste it and say "yeah, that's okay to serve!" I question whether they have a true BBQ pitmaster cooking the meats, or if it is just a hobby of the chef's and they decided to take a stab at a restaurant. The BBQ sauce was house made and really, just okay. It was a typical Northern style BBQ sauce. I prefer a variety of sauce (hot, mustard, vinegar, etc.) Another huge disappointment was the "sheet cake." It was regular chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. I have my suspicions that it wasn't house made either, it just didn't have a fresh-baked taste. As far as the service, it was okay. Our waitress was overwhelmed, even though the place wasn't packed. Busy, but not crazy. She didn't know what beers were on tap, nor what kind of beer was what. She offered us an "IRA" instead of an IPA. Even if you don't drink beer, you need to know what you're selling. They also only had the carry-out menus which only listed the food, so we didn't know what drinks were available. Apparently, there was a SNAFU with the company that printed the in-house menus. A simple was to remedy this would have been to print off a handful of temporary drink menus to pass out with the carry out menus. We'll come back and try again in a few months. Truly, I want to see more quality restaurants in this area exceed, because most stuff in the greater West Bloomfield area is garbage. I hope the owners can tweak their recipes and get the help they need to solve the problems and reach success. (And if they need a cornbread or Texas sheet cake recipe, send me a message.)
The tater tots were fabulous!! Chunks of brisket smothered in slaw and BBQ sauce, seriously yum!! We also had the loaded chili, not your traditional chili but non the less amazing!! House drinks were creative and well worth a try, we tried three and all were great. Definitely worth the drive.
Hearing mixed reviews about this restaurant already, I wanted to try it out for myself. I came in promptly when they opened and was greeted and seated right away. Our server Christina was well informed and her suggestions were both personal and professional. I would def recommend her as a server. Pork Cakes were delicious for a starter and my Caesar salad was well dressed and seasoned perfectly. My Bo Dip was good but not great. The yardbird on the other hand was terrific, juicy and a good enough reason to go back to this restaurant. I could of done without the cornbread and the Mac and cheese came out barely warm. Altogether It has its early kinks but Jeremy is doing something great at this location.

I needed somewhere to go while my car was getting fixed. So I stopped in. Food was good. Prices were good. Service was good. Nice little bar.
Under new management, I can no longer recommend. Everything I loved about this place has changed to be fair I haven't spent any time in the new place, they "fixed it up" but I liked it the way it was. 3 stars given out of courtesy
Stopped in the other night, cold beer. Decent bar menu, the servers seemed to be happy. They were attentive and brought us new drinks when ours were near empty. I guess they have live music sometimes. I wouldnt come out of my way to go here, but if in the neighborhood and wanted a quick bite and beer.

Needs Work My Wife and I met some friends on valentine's day to see the band EMS. They arrived a hour before us and ordered steak bites. They had not received their food till after we had ordered (about 1 hour 15 minutes) and while cooked to a nice med rare they were unseasoned. I ordered the extreme heat wings which arrived in a timely 15 minutes and were good. The sauce was excellent (a little light but they brought more) habanero based wonderful flavor great heat. they use a meaty whole wing and they cooked them done, but not dry. My wife ordered the shrimp scampi and i ordered the teriyaki glazed chicken. The wifes scampi was ok, shrimp cooked to perfection, pasta slightly over cooked. The chicken while cooked well (done but not dry) was flavorless. Lack of seasoning was the theme for the evening. They have a new chef that i sensed has not yet discovered the strengths and weaknesses of his staff. They as a restaurant are moving away from straight from the freezer, to the fryer, to you, bar food. I am going back! If the chef can control his staff they can produce great food so i will give them some time and see what happens. great idea needs better execution.
These reviews are giving B1's a bad rap. What I'm looking for in a dive bar night out is simple: good music (check), good drinks (check), inexpensive drinks (check), decent food so I don't pass out (double check - food is really good actually) and good service (servers and bartenders are always super friendly and helpful). All in all, B1's serves up exactly what I want for a night out. Although I do wish that once in a while they would have karaoke on a Saturday night instead of a band. They also have shuffle board, Golden Tee and pool tables if you are into that.
Apparently under new management . Little better than it was. Lots of young people , live music . Not the kind of place to bring your wife or anyone else you care about as the patrons are a little rough, hammered lets say with a hint of other substances. Not exactly like the movie "the road house" But the closest I've seen , minus the fence around the band.
