My dad and I went here while he was in town because I was looking for something other than the usual restaurants we go to. The menu was pretty large and had something for everyone. I had the Smoked Gouda burger (minus a bun, stupid allergies) and I loved the charred/caramelized onions on it. My dad had the turkey burger and his looked good as well. They were not very busy however we had to wait for someone to acknowledge us at the hostess station. I am sure we could have seated ourselves but I always feel so rude doing that . I'll be back there soon!

So Zebs is one of my favorite local hangouts. The food is always delicious and their specials are usually quite delicious along with being reasonably priced. The best feature of Zebs has to be their fabulous happy hour specials. During both afternoon and late night they have half off drinks and the afternoon happy hour has discounted appetizers. Service is consistently quite good and the wait staff is always friendly and helpful.

I returned on 7/18/2015 just to see if my first impression was correct. This time I ordered the Texas cut prime rib-it was fantastic. This is their specialty so I knew it would be pretty decent based on my prior visit. My wife had their cod and thoroughly enjoyed it. She also tried the Cosmo and said it was PERFECT. I'll be back again-this confirms consistent quality of food AND service.

I think that Zeb's is in an odd location (Texas Corners), unless you live nearby then you are probably really glad that it is here. The double Bloody Mary for $2 was spicy and had a nice flavor and the price was right. Their other alcohol selections are interesting too (e.g., pear cider). I had a turkey sandwich with jalapeños with a side salad with jalapeño ranch dressing and it was very good. My husband had the Teriyaki wrap and sweet potato fries. He said that the fries were great but the wrap was only okay. Total bill for our group of 5 for Sunday lunch including 4 alcoholic drinks was $80.

I can honestly say there wasn't much about the meal I enjoyed. The waitress didn't know how many ounces came in the special margarita, the gravy on the mashed potatoes was strong and too salty, the coleslaw that came with my meal was uneatable, nothing was "fresh cooked" hot but merely had the heat from a heat lamp on it (which confused me because they were at less than half capacity), the beef brisket was dry even though it was soaked in BBQ, and to top off my experience on my way to the restroom I overhear the bartender asking a customer "when you're home alone and naked you never do the flying squirrel?" What?!?

If you closed your eyes and someone led you in the door, sat you down at a table and then you opened your eyes; you would swear that you are "up north" in a back woods restaurant. The walls were built to look like a log cabin and the decor reminds you of a slower time, which is really relaxing to me. They have quite the variety of craft beers on tap so for a guy like me, I am in my glory with all of them. To go along with the great beer is a plate of nachos ($12.99) that is enough to feed two grown men or a small third world country, with a side of salsa and sour cream. They have a pretty full menu and specials each night of the week but the real secret here is that if you come between 2pm and 5pm, they offer some absolutely killer deals on select appetizers and half...yes indeedy... half off beer pints. Then, after your day is done and the kids are in bed, you can sneak back there for another half off pint from 930pm-1100pm. I can't think of a better place to go in the evening locally to cozy up with your sweetie or watch a game with a few of your buddies in the "bar side".

At first I was a little bit skeptical of driving out of my normal five mile radius, however Zeb's was totally worth it! $1.00 bloody Mary's and yummy vegetarian food. Can't be beat! They also have outdoor seating. Service was great too! I have been back since and tried the potato skins. Also deeeelish! . I ordered the Veggie Pita $6.95 avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, sprouts and mozzarella cheese on fresh pita bread, served with pasta salad and ranch dressing on the side. I ordered mine toasted, this was large enough for Ben and I to split. Large pasta salad as a side. Was super delish and Ben doesn't like olives so I ate them all : )

We have been going to Zeb's for at least 10 years and can not say we've ever been disappointed. The servings are HUGE and service even on busy evenings is 4.5 stars. You will not leave Zeb's feeling empty. If you are an onion ring lover, you must try a half order which will easily satisfy two. I am writing an update to my first review on Zebs since we go there all the time. At least we used to. I have had 2 bad experiences with the blonde day time bartender. She is very nice to the regulars, but when I walked in and stood at the bar for at least 5 minutes, she never acknowledged me. There were only 3 other patrons at the whole bar. This is the second time I have had this experience with her. I sat at a table by the bar instead and was greeted with a very friendly server and was happy that she was not waiting on me anyway. While I sat at the table, the bar started to fill up with all men, who she called by name and was extremely flirty with. Why should I find myself getting angry with this girl who is just a bartender? Well I'm not angry, but I hope others read this and maybe management will too as another regular (and good tipper) has been lost by inadequate staff,

In town over night for college visit with daughter and hungry not far from hotel and reviews seemed ok . Had a great time and meal. Broad menu which sometimes means avg food. However asked our server what was good and pointed out the prime rib, surprise it was one of the best ones I have had cooked perfect med rare au jus on the side not on it and perfect seasoned crust and only 15.95 for a large slab. My daughter had a buffalo burger and loved it. With decent sides and lots of local beers on tap good place to go. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Overall we really enjoy our visits to Zebs. THis visit, however, we were slightly disappointed with the amount of fish served in the fish and chips dinner. The last time, our meal was very hearty with large portions of fish. This time, it looked like we had a box of Gortons opened up on our plate. In the defense of or server, she was more than willing to bring a few more pieces I add I our serving. If the recipe of the fish dinner has been changed, they need to bring back the old.

I have to confirm new at yelping but lived on Crooked Lake for 15 years. I still come over here because it's home and the food is good. But that's Texas Corners. Weather it's Asiago, Zebs, Hunan or Fletcher's it just all seems to be better out here!!!
