Diabetics at TGI Friday

If you're a diabetic, then you must be extra careful while dining at TGI Friday. Try the salad menu at TGI Friday to keep your sugar and sodium intake in check. Soups are great to keep you full and satisfied without munching on the unhealthy greased meat-based dishes on TGI Friday menu.

Foods to Avoid at TGI Friday for Diabetics:

Sugar and sodium intake are crucial if you have diabetes. While the salads are the best option for you at TGI Friday, it is recommended to avoid the Pecan-Crusted Chicken Salad containing over 1000 calories and 1,650mg sodium. Also, skip Warm Pretzels with Craft Beer-Cheese dipping sauce as it contains more than 3000mg sodium. Went here for a late lunch and split an order of the baby back ribs. Definitely the best ribs we've ever had. It took all of our resolve and discipline not to pick the bones clean with our teeth right there. Before that we decided to try the new appetizers - the Thai pork tacos, ahi tuna crisps and the meat skewers. All were delish, especially the Thai pork tacos. For dessert we tried the Whiskey cake and it was okay. Would have liked it to be more flavorful and less rich but we still enjoyed it. My only complaint is that a table across from us was covered in dirty dishes and stayed that way the entire time we were there. There was no excuse for that mess to be left there for so long.

I used to be a regular at this Friday's when I was in college. This though, was probably my first visit in at least five years. We stopped by on a Saturday around six, seated right away, no wait. The menu was very different, tons of good choices though and some old favorites. Always love the Jack Daniels chicken or steak. Highlight was the new drink menu! So many new and interesting drinks. It was hard to decide what to get. I opted for the blackberry Long Island and it was delicious. Came in a shaker and was easily the size of three regular drinks. Both my hubby and I had the jack Daniels chicken sandwich, fantastic, no complaints. We'll be back :)

I visit this place usually once a week. I always have excellent service. I read a lot of bad reviews about this place, but I have never experienced those issues here. I usually sit at the bar, where Ian is #1 in town!

I was visiting friends in Kalamazoo and stopped at Fridays for a bite to eat. It was a Saturday afternoon. Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted immediately and seated within a couple minutes. My waitress was Lindsey and she did a great job. Shortly after being seated she asked for a drink order or any appetizers. She also gave the specials for the day. We placed our order and the food came out exactly as ordered. I am a picky eater so I usually get mad if my order is not correct. The food was great. The service was fast. It was afternoon so it wasn't as busy. I definitely recommend this place. If you do stop make sure to ask if Lindsey is working. She did a great job. Thank you Friday's and Lindsey for a great afternoon Meal. Ryan Pittsburgh, PA

I have been to a few Fridays out of town, to find a decent, while formulaic, bar food and drinks. I must admit I haven't been to my local Fridays since it was a Carlos Murphy's many years ago. Turns ot they haven't cleaned it since the remodel. Smelly and dusty. One star awarded for friendly staff.

That place has been having a bad service for the past year. Last year when i went there,i got green bean fries and they were so soggy and soaked in grease. I asked the manager to change it for me and he said no. Not only the manager was rude, the food was terrible too. After a year we went there again, the server came to our table and said one sec and went to the table across from us where there are a lot of dudes and she keeps talking to them for over 20 mins. She never came back. Yes, she was just standing there and talking. .so we decided to walk out.. the place isn't even busy at all!!! Worst service in town

Service sucked. We were there before 5:00 and there were lots of tables. Yet we could not be seated. Food is the same as it always is at Fridays so all they can offer is service. If they can't do that right they have nothing.

My husband I stopped in Saturday night after a movie around 9, we went into the bar and it kinda busy but not crazy busy for a Saturday night. We sat down and waitress came over and took our drink orders and then it went down hill. We never saw her for at least ten minutes, saw our drinks sitting at the bar and finally my husband flagged her over and asked about our drinks and she went and brought them, she then finally took our order and in the mean time 5, yes 5 different waitresses came to our table trying to give us food that was meant for the people behind us and next to us. We waited a while for food and when it did come it was wrong, so the mangager came over and apologized and went and got what I ordered and he asked if I would like another beer and I said yes, thinking it was on the house at this point, oh no it was on the bill. I have always like TGI but the last couple times just haven't been good and the service was awful. In fact we thought she left or something because after our food came we never saw her til it was time to pay.

Service was not at all friendly (smile, people!)..I've definitely been to better TGI Fridays locations. Their parking was a bit of a turn off as well.

Had the potstickers and jack Daniels sirloin. Both were prepared well and were delicious. Service was quick and friendly. I know it's a chain, but is one of my favorites and seems to churn out actual good food.

He started the first TGI Friday restaurant in New York in the hope of meeting single women as there weren't any such public place for young men and women to meet. He invested $5000 on his own and borrowed another $5000 from his mother to buy a bar named The Good Tavern and renamed the premise to Thank God It's Friday, inspired from an expression during his time at Bucknell University.
