    We came to Applebees after not being sat at Chase Sports Bar. We are never let down here. We only sit at the bar because of the awesome bar tenders. Service is great and the food is even better, although a bit on the salty side.

    Ordered Carside To Go & they Royally screwed up the order. Our Thai wings had no sauce, the sweet potato fries they forgot the 3 sauces that came with them, forgot our drink, & everything tasted like it'd sat under a heat lamp while we sat outside waiting for 10 minutes after our pickup. When we called to inform of their mistakes the manager was rude.

    Waitress was fine but the bartender was bad. Had to wait 20 minutes for a drink. Waitress apologized but said the bartender was slow. Service was OK, had to wait 15 minutes for a salad and it was not even busy. They need a manager that knows how to watch ticket times.

    April 11th I visited the local Applebee's to have a delicious dinner with my girl, celebrating our Anniversary. Everything went well till our waitress complained about serving us to us. Things got ugly. I ignored her. We ordered drinks and a appetizer and our meal since we order quick. The waitress was having difficulty dealing with customers behind us since the order was incorrect. She brought her attitude over to our table. Upon finishing our meal. She was beginning to lighten up and even offered dessert and we ordered right away. She left out empty plates sitting in front of us for a half hour. She didn't come back for some time.. Excited to try new things. She was clearing the table finally we commented on the dishes served being delicious and I said to her politely and out of anticipation to try something new, "We are ready for dessert mmmmhmm." She snapped at me saying "Young man, we are busy here at Applebees. I can't bring dessert to you any quicker than anyone else. So you're going to have to wait." I was surprised by the sudden attitude change. Ruined the mood for our time there and made my girl uncomfortable being in the restaurant. I didn't want to tip this waitress at this point. As we were leaving she stopped us at the table when the money was down and I said to her keep the change. She complained about the tip to me. I about took the tip. Instead I gave her a dollar tip and said, "we are leaving and we didn't like the poor service". Poor service. Good food. Bad attitude. You never complain to the customer you're serving.

    I'm giving two stars because the food was good, and it came out hot. However, that's pretty much where the good things end. Went to lunch on a Monday, we arrived around 1:30 so we missed a majority of the lunch rush. We ordered two lunch specials and an appetizer (to be eaten as an entree). We watched three tables around us get their food first even though we had ordered long before them. The waitress did not once offer coffee refills. The worst part of this experience happened after we left the restaurant. One of my lunch companions realized she had left her glasses and phone behind at the restaurant. When we went back to get them we were rudely informed by the hostess that we could NOT go look for them. She copped an attitude at this point and said that "we sweep the floors and I will go look in the back." Our waitress realized who we were and decided to go check in the booth where we were sitting. Guess what she found? Sadly disappointed in the treatment you receive by the staff. This is the second time in a year I've had a bad experience.... when does it get better?

    This place is alright. Their drinks are a little over priced compared to other bars in Jackson but it usually has a fun crowd. Food is typical of most Applebees which is average but not great. Most of the bartenders I've had there are fairly quick. It's an alright place to grab a quick bite and a drink. This one is usually fairly clean too.
