Disappointed to say the least. Store front wasn't on so I missed it and had to turn back. The only lit on the sign is "BREAD". The place was about half full with a dinner crowd and laptop jockeys. Ordered their Premium Signature Sandwich and they were out of roasted turkey. The server that brought me my meal had what appeared to be a "scratch n sniff" apron! It was crusty. The employees seemed lethargic and unenthused. My perception is that employee morale is low. Food was good although the environment was not.

Love this place. Became a fan of theirs years ago. This summer we tried one of their homemade breads (tomato basil) and it is sooo yummy. Makes a turkey sandwich into a meal...make sure and get it sliced thick!

I love their food! I can't comment on thier bakery stuff though b/c I never have room after eating a bread bowl (usually brocolli-cheddar, YUMMO!). I don't think they've ever screwed up my order and staff is usually friendly. It can get a bit crowded though so make sure to come on off hours. Ooo, one more thing - I think their lemonade might be real b/c it's super good and tangy. :)

Visiting Grand Rapids to drop off my daughter to GVSU. I have always loved to having breakfast at Panera bread. This place is packed even at 10am during my visit! My favorite coffee (hazelnut) was out at time But the staffs were very helpful so he filled one cup for me. The sandwich was perfectly toasted for bagel. The sausage egg sandwich was perfectly done! I think my only complaint is that the coffee can't supply fast enough to demand at time. I saw at least 3-4 people behind me also want hazel nut coffee but it was out! So what next is the creamer was also out!! And so other coffee!!! I give four stars so one star because coffee can't supply enough! I believed the management should looking into high sale during curtain time period so they can better prepared! Hope this feedback would help!

Always a good spot for a quick lunch. I tried the new Broth Bowls they are offing and I really enjoyed the Soba Noodle Bowl with Chicken.

A favorite of mine and a must have for the wife. Great rotating selection of soups and salads. Creative menu options and combinations, "you pick 2" is the best. Turkey bacon bravo is the king of sandwiches. Tomato basil bread, fresh sliced turkey, spiced mayo, and smoked Gouda cheese. Add some cheese broccoli soup and you have an award winning pair. Always consistent service no matter which location you visit. One last thing to add... My wife also worked at Panera for a year and still loves eating there. How often do you see employees (present/past) that eat where they work?

    * Broken Wi-Fi * Inconsistent experience * Calm and collected environment * Upstairs and downstairs seating * Private meeting rooms * Slow customer service * Information overload * Friendly staff * Family friendly * Dirty tables, dirty floors * Disgusting restrooms * Mediocre standards

So, I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurant reviews-- I think "if you've been to one Panera, you've been to them all," but I was not a huge fan of my recent experience at the Panera in Grandville. First of all, this place is always a ZOO during meal times, if you want to have a meal and sit and enjoy conversation with a friend then go during a "down time." Finding a seat was a nightmare! After we stalked a table for a couple of minutes (awkward), our meals arrived which were all incorrect, as in they were not even remotely what we ordered. They took both meals back and brought us another set of incorrect meals. At this point, both my friend and I dug our receipts out of our purses and handed them to the "meal runner" and she finally returned with the correct meals. Finally, I had really hoped to chat with my friend and catch up, but the tables are so closely squished together that the only thing we could hear was the guy next to us on his phone. It was disappointing because I make it back to Grand Rapids/Grandville very infrequently, so I really look for great opportunities to catch up with my friends... I left disappointed from this Panera. :-(

I was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease, so I'm still figuring out how to stick with my gluten-free diet in restaurants. It's especially hard on road trips! I went out of my way to check out this Panera location when I was driving through the area, specifically for the gluten-free options. They couldn't have been more accommodating, and I was so grateful! The most frustrating thing about my dietary restrictions is that I have to feel like such a high-maintenance jerk whenever I eat out, but the staff made me feel totally comfortable and totally safe. Without me even asking, they looked up the ingredients of my salad order in a binder full of allergy information, and the chef immediately changed his gloves before handling my food. Such a relief not to have to worry that I'll get sick! Thanks so much, Grandville Panera - I'll definitely be back! That said, I can't bring myself to give it five stars cause at the end of the day, it's still a Panera. Given that, it's as good as they come.

WAY to expensive for what you get. I paid almost $9 for a sandwich that was about the size of my palm and had canned chicken on it! The chicken had chunks in it that were not even edible and I had to spit out. What a bummer. Not a big fan of Panera after this :(

Does have take out, does have outdoor seating and does have free wifi! I eat at this location at least once per week and love all of the healthy options!

Placed an order to go, and the cooks had it all wrong. Wrong soup, wrong sandwich, and didn't realize it until I got home...quite disappointed. I've never had an issue like this but am very unhappy with service this time around.

The last couple of times I've went have been disappointing with not being able to get what I want because they were out. Tables often dirty and staff milling about behind the counters, maybe it has been just when I visit but for the price I pay I would like selection and a clean place to eat,

Very good food & coffee. Great atmosphere. A little pricey but worth it, in my opinion. I really like their unique menu items, sandwiches, etc. Also available, pastry treats, bagels, cookies and specialty coffee drinks. All very tasty. Yes it is a restaurant.
