I am so angry that I spent 4 years at UM-Flint and only recently heard about this place. Monday is comedy night and Tuesday is jazz night! Their drinks and tap list are unique and delicious, their waitstaff super friendly and awesome, and the food is all made fresh and surprisingly cheap for being such high end bar food! Try the chicken tenders with house made ranch!

The best burger in Flint, hands-down. The staff are friendly, prices are reasonable, and the beer selection is great. I hope it stays the same for a long time. I've never sensed any racism like one of the others posted.

Decent prices really wish I could get a drink without dealing with the brunette bartender. She is absolutely terrible. She yells at customers at the drop of a hat. My suggestion go in the side room and order multiple drinks when you get there cause she's awful. But it's the only place with decent hours it seems.

BLACK BEAN BURGER. THE BEST. I love it with sautéed mushrooms and green olives. This is an awesome restaurant with delicious good, great drinks, reasonable prices, and cool employees. :)

Great music, great atmosphere! Can't complain about much! We had their loaded nachos. They had a nice kick to them, but only lasted a few minutes between a couple people.

I love this place! It's a dive with great service. Addicting drink menu, on point bar food and bartenders that don't act like they hate you. What is the best though, is that it's not full of flat screens. It's a bar you go to to have a real conversation with real people. Love it. Ask Kenny for the Kentini

Decent local bar. Cheap drinks, decent service. A typical dive bar with a pool table, but heads and shoulders above Churchills in terms of quality. They have better food than the average dive bar- in fact, they even have veggie burgers now. They started featuring live comedy shows awhile ago, so that's something different.

It's funny this place ranks tops among Flint bars but I can't argue. This place's pinky finger has more character than keaneau reeves entire acting career. And now they have food! It's all things Flint, divey, diverse, laid back, run down, and incredibly endearing. And the beer selection can't be beat.

Oh my, hands down the best burger in genesee county followed very closely by Krystal Jo's. My husband surprised me with a date here on a Friday evening with live Jazz. We ordered a burger, loaded fries, chicken fingers and Jalapeño Popper Egg Rolls. Oh my, the egg rolls were phenomenal!!!! The burger was perfectly prepared and seasoned. The chicken however isn't something i would order again. It was not seasoned and I was overall not fond of it. The rest of the food though was great! We can't wait to visit again soon to try more of the menu items and listen to some great, live music.

I love this place. Drinks are delicious, I like the dim environment, but I go here just for the food really! Awesome food, good portions for a great price. The Bar tenders have also always been quality. You should definitely try this place

Just eat here. After living downtown for 3 years and thinking the Torch was the end all of burgers in Flint, Soggy Bottom has taken over as my top pick. They have better beers and food than their competition and a pool table that doesn't suck so I don't really see a reason to go anywhere else.

I LOVE this bar. This is our after work hang out. I love the juke box, the dim decor, and the bartenders are pretty great as well. Soft Parade? Yes please! It's super cozy inside and I would actually hang out here by myself (not that I would, but if I did, I would totally come here) (ok, I probably would). I probably come here once a week and tear up that popcorn, unfortunately that's all the food/snacks that they offer. Good times for sure!

I've been going to this place since it opened. Always like it but away from the cluster of other establishments south of the river. It now has a fantastic beer selection and great food. Now will be going there 5 times more than before.

I ate here once and it was fucking awesome. I had a really juicy, delicious burger on a tasty bun. The fries were great, my cocktail was great and the service was great. The beer selection looked awesome, but I stuck to my tequila cocktails. I can't wait to come back to town and get really drunk here. Good atmosphere, I'd love to see some good pinball machines in the side room. I'm not sure if there is a patio, if so, it would be a great place to have beer/cocktails in the summer. I'm adding Soggy Bottom to the list of shit to eat when I come home to visit.

Soggy bottom is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in flint. The place is so unique and has a ton of character. I'm excited to see all of the changes and can't wait for the kitchen to be open. From the great bottled beer selection to the new craft cocktails being produced I really think this will wind up being one of the hottest late night spots around.

One of my favorite places to grab a drink or seven. They have a great beer selection. Allegedly the restaurant next door serves food to the bar but I've seen no evidence of this. Occasionally it can take a while to get served a drink, but I usually sit at the bar which eliminates that problem. I dig the atmosphere of the place and stop here at least a couple times per week. I definitely recommend checking it out.

Ok i don't wanna say that the manager of this bar and a bartender, who called Ashly is a racist , but she is so feisty with people , and she know nothing about bar-tendering thing. Not classy at all , and she think she own the place. I'll never go there again, and I wish the real owner contact me. ASAP. " Don't hire a white trash" sir.

I can't comment on the actual bar, but the food was great and reasonably priced. I would probably actually give it 4.5 stars if I could. My husband got the southwest burger with the black bean patty. He enjoyed it, but said he would get ground beef next time. I got the black bean nachos which were delicious, but I was a little disappointed that the black beans appeared to be a black bean burger crumbled up. The fries were delicious. We also got the jalapeño popper egg rolls. They were very good, although a little too heavy on the cream cheese to jalapeño ratio for me. All in all very good and we wi be back.

Best bar in Flint, meaning it's by far the best bar in the world. Drinks are great; Kenny makes the finest Old Fashioned I've ever had (he makes his own damn syrup). $1.50 domestic bottles for happy hour. Food is super fresh and always good. Over the years this bar has gone up and down, but it is certainly on the up now. Regulars occupy the Happy hours, and the evenings are a grab bag of folks.
