Its a fun bar, but its really my go to meal after I've had a few beers at Stop Spot. The food is a bit on the expensive side but the portions are very generous. Standard bar food and a pizza section and a Mexican section. The individual nacho is somewhere around 12-14 but its enough for 3 people. It comes out on a pizza tray. The bonus is that they use Doritos for their chips, which is not only healthy but....O.K. it's just really good. They have a really good BLT pizza as well. Karaoke is very popular on the weekend.

love warrilow's.....don't go nearly enough. their dorrito nacho is amazing. large enough to feed an army of screaming children or two drunks, like it does for me. the other food is pretty good too. also cheap. the karaoke is probably the most amazing performance art ever. the bartender in the picture is fabulous. she is probably the nicest bartender i have ever encountered. its a perfect little neighborhood bar that serves some good grub and good drinks. love, juston

Found this place by doing a random search, checked it out, and had a GREAT time! A few of us just needed a place to have a quick sit down and we met there. The other reviewers aren't kidding- the bartender is a sweetie pie! We didn't eat, just had some beers, but she was so nice and talkative and cool that I just had to post a review. We'll be back again for sure!

you're local neighborhood bar. I'll be coming around more often since I will be attending regular club meetings in their nice little back room, so I will get a better idea of their food. Turkey club was nothing special, and with the thick texas toast was almost too much for me to eat. mozz sticks were good but a bit overpriced, pretty good selection of beers although they were only using two taps when I visited as the others weren't operational (totally cool as I was driving and a nice bud light lime was all I needed). atmosphere is a little dark but the music isn't too loud. waitresses were all very nice! I look forward to my future meetings here and will definitely try some of the other fare (I hear this Dorito nacho thing is pretty good).

"Remember when I ate the Botana?" This is a famous quote between my husband and I. We ate here once, and I've been back several times on my own JUST for the Botana. It's amazing - it's nachos on Doritos. It's an insurmountable pile of delicious nachos on Doritos. The first time we ate there was a few years ago, when smoking in restaurants was legal. The place was instant lung cancer at that time, but has since changed. It's divey, and full of random locals who you know go there daily after work to get tanked. But the service is friendly and the food is really good. The husband got a chicken parmesan sandwich when we first went there, and he raved about it at the time. I had the Botana and I've had it about 5 times since then, in carry-out form. It's served in a pizza box when you get it carry-out, seriously. Just try it when you want some good bar food and cheap drinks.

Great little bar! It was really empty when we first went in around 8:30 on a Saturday night, but about an hour later the place was full. Everyone there was ready to Karaoke!! It was a fun neighborhood crowd. Clearly many locals that come in regularly. The bartender was super friendly and made nice strong drinks, for a decent price. The nachos....oh the nachos... they started using Doritos long before Taco Bell!! And they were smart to do so, yum!!

It was fun. We threw a surprise birthday for my uncle and I'm pretty sure he enjoyed himself. I ordered a chocolate-tini. lol It was pretty good. I don't know how much it was though. I had another relative pay for it. But I have heard they are a little expensive. Three dollars for a 99cent Arizona Tea can.

A neighborhood bar in a town of bars with gimmicks. Decent food, cheap drinks, nice staff. That sums it up. I have the goal of trying every bar I can find in Ferndale, I'm probably within half a dozen of accomplishing that. Warrilow's ended up being a business meeting, discussing a film we're shooting starting this weekend. Our studio is right down the road, so Warrilow's made sense. Its a little place that isn't too divey, but you can't call it classy either. Across the way is Hilton Pool Hall, and the packed parking lot at Warrilow's tricked me into thinking maybe they were busy?? Nope. Literally six of us in the bar. Service was good, you could tell our server was getting ready in case they got busy later. Bathrooms were decent, which makes any place a bit better. The Pizza we have (Pepperoni and sausage) was pretty good. Nothing special, definitely not Amici's or wherever you kids go, but filling and not crappy. That made me happy. Theres not too much else to say really. If you're in the area, its not a bad destination. Not the type of place where I would go out of my way to, but would definitely stop by if in the area.

I've only been here twice, and have been impressed with the food both times. I was drawn in because of their famous Dorrito Nachos. I've had them both times I was there, and they were amazing both times. Highly recommend ordering those. Their pizza is also amazing. The first time I had the round and recently I had the deep dish. The round is the way to go. It's a great place to get some cheap drinks, and some delicious food. The service was also great as well.

Totally love this place. It was crowded on a Saturday night but not so crowded that it hindered having an awesome time. The drinks are strong and the food is good. The bartender is amazing. Seriously top notch service. The patrons were the perfect mix of late 20s/over 45. The karaoke was not obnoxious as a lot of places can be. It is a great dive and just my style. Parking was simple. I always assumed this place was a fancy-ish restaurant based on the looks of it driving by but I'm glad I found it on Yelp & have a new neighborhood bar go enjoy.

My cousin and I made a special trip out to Warrilow's Bar from Ypsi. to try their nachos. We were both thrown back by the location and type of place it was and the type of food they served. It seems to be more mexican food, which is great! But a little weird because the whole restaurant is a bar. We were the only patrons there so it was quiet and since we went shortly after Christmas, there were still Christmas decorations up. Since we came for the nachos, we ordered the Doritos Botana nachos. Thankful when we ordered, the waitress recommended that we spilt a personal size and thank goodness we did. They definitely pile on the nachos and refried beans, along with olives, lettuce and tomatoes. The nachos weren't life changing, as we hoped but we did get a side of chili cheese fries, that were the best I've had in Michigan. Since this place isn't very close to me, I probably won't be making a special trip out here just for the fries. My cousin and I definitely thought after searching for the best nachos in southeast michigan, that we could probably make better nachos.

Didn't eat here so my reviews are based on the 2 times I have been there and it pertains to the service. The service is really good here and each time I have been there it is sammed packed. Other folks have said the food is good and since I eat with those folks a few times a month I'll have to take their word for it. The drink prices there are very reasonable.

We walked in to about 5 people on a rotation of singing karaoke hits, one of them being a 94 year old. What am I in store for here? We got seats at the bar and ordered the "small" chicken nachos. It's enough for 3 people to help themselves to twice. Doritos smothered with chicken, cheese, peppers, salsa, and sour cream. It was really, really good. The bartenders were very friendly and chatty with us. After about an hour of being there, the room filled up and everyone was doing karaoke at that point. A lot of regulars, some quite eclectic, whom the staff knew by name. Sipping on my vodka tonic and watching the show made for a good night. Definitely a place to come back to,

So I will start by saying I have only been here once... maybe twice. This place is for sure a hole in the wall, and they aren't trying to pretend that they aren't. The regulars seem to like it the way it is - and good for them. Basic layout is a decent sized bar and a smattering of tables- extra room in the back with pool tables and the like. They have some decent prices and decent beer selections... cheap grub too. This disgusted me a bit- although maybe I just need to realize that a lot of place are like this... I ordered something fried, I can't remember what. The bartender said to me- Mmm, those look good. I'm going to have to eat some today. They taste so much better with fresh grease... we change it every Monday. Also- it is hard to leave this place smelling like anything other than a dirty ashtray .... which may or may not be because the "regular" who sat down next to me at the bar was chain smoking and looked like he hadn't showered in days.

Come here once and they'll remember you forever. Also they have amazing pizza and pretty good tacos. Who the shit does both of those things well? I'm drunk, fuck off.

Great neighborhood bar where there are many regulars who congregate for karaoke nights (Fri and Sat, I think). My husband and I used to be patrons of the old Rosie's...it was one of those comfortable divey places with decent food and great specials and a very laid-back atmosphere. You could roll up there in a decade-old sweatshirt and old sneakers with no judgement. :) Needless to say, the new Rosie's doesn't quite fit the bill anymore. This is why we were so excited to discover Warrilow's, which is off the beaten path, but not too far away from downtown Ferndale. The cuisine is solid bar food (fried chicken sandwiches, burgers, pizza, some mexican-inspired items) and there's pretty much always some kind of beer special. The food is inexpensive. The service is good. There's a very interesting mix of people who frequent Warrilow's (from what I can tell so far); some of the gentlemen singing karaoke ranged from 50-80, but there were also tables full of young couples. The bar is totally comfortable and best of all, it's definitely not a hipster or trendy kind of place. You don't go here to be seen. You go here to relax with some cheap beer and good friends. And perhaps to enjoy karaoke on the weekends. The pizza is pretty good. And everyone loves the botana that's made with Doritos. (I love their carrot cake shots...and their Superman ones. I looooove girly drinks -what can I say?) Glad to have found this place!
