I live right across Woodward and I have been here 3-4 times in the last couple of weeks. I absolutely love this location. Fast, friendly service, clean & upbeat, everything great about Jimmy Johns, done right, with a great friendly staff. Good job crew!

NOT FREAKY FAST. Call attempt #1: Put on hold. Waited for 3 minutes. Hung up Call attempt #2: Answered on first ring but no one said anything. Could hear background noise only. Said "Hi!" Really loud 3 times. Nothing. Hung up. Call attempt #3: Connected with someone (yay!!). Placed an order for 2 sandwhiches. Was told they would be delivered ASAP. ...wait, wait, wait 45 minutes later. FINALLY got our delivery. I've ordered and received a pizza in faster time than that!!! Will not be ordering delivery again. I advise you do the same from the ferndale store, especially if you need the quick delivery that is advertised. In reading a couple responses below it sounds like I'm not the only one this has happened to.

I walked in right before close to grab a sandwich. I expected a little bit of attitude from the staff but they were pleasant and helpful. Jimmy John's quality that'd you expect. Nice location and staff!

I'm sick of these damn drivers speeding down my goddamn road like damn maniacs! I have animals at my house. Not to mention I lost one dog to a speeding driver a few years back. Now there are children living in my 'hood more than there used to be. On a lighter note... The food is great I can eat jimmy johns for a solid week before I get sick of it. And I love having it at the end of my street.

I usually love Jimmy Johns but this location is THE WORST. Twice now on Sunday's they have taken over an hour to deliver my food. They are six minutes from my house!

The best sub shop, chain or independent- so happy to have JJs in Ferndale! Delivery is insanely fast. When this place first opened the whole city went nuts so delivery times were long but still less than pizza, but now I get my sub in under 10min.

I've never really had this experience with a Jimmy Johns before, however I placed an online delivery order at 8:38 pm, at 9:20 I called to make sure they had received it. I was then informed that their driver had run out of gas, so they were sending another delivery person to assist the driver, and it would be another 20 minutes, at 9:50 I called and cancelled my order. Given that I submitted my phone number with my order, I'm confused as to why they would not have called to let me know what was going on. I also don't understand why they decided to send their other driver to assist the driver that had run out of gas, before making another order and delivering it on time. I live 5 minutes from this location. One may ask why I didn't go out and get it myself, and my answer is because I have newborn twins, so delivery is a great option for me. I'm very disappointed.

They always make my sandwich exactly the way I want it, no skimping. Unbelievable customer service. One time I walked in the door, and they welcomed me like a queen! Delivery is fast and prompt. Couldn't ask for more.

Their delivery is great but the service for eat-in or carry-out not so much. I waited what Jimmy would consider an eternity when I came to get take-out and the staff could've been way friendlier. So for now I'll choose delivery...the drivers are always friendly.

This review is only for their delivery! The food is standard Jimmy John's and tastes just fine. I've lived in Ferndale for years and order Jimmy John's online about once a week for delivery. Before this location opened, the closest location was in Royal Oak. One of the first times I ordered, it took 8 minutes for them to deliver. How is that even possible. It was insanely fast. After that I would always time them and average out the times, and over the course of a year, they would average about 11 minutes to deliver my food. Freaky Fast indeed. Since the Ferndale location opened up a few weeks back, I was excited that I would be getting my food even faster. The location is much closer to where I live. Boy have I been wrong. So far, the 5 times I've ordered, it has taken, 19, 27, 22, 37, and 32 minutes. Since they have only been open about two months, maybe they just need more drivers? I will most likely just order carry out from now on. Again, this review is just for the slow delivery at this location.

It's a standard Jimmy Johns with all of the standard offerings. I only ever get the #6, vegetarian sub, but it's a solid, tasty sandwich. This new location needs some of the kinks ironed out. After all, the JJ slogan states they are fast. That hasn't been my experience at this location. Lots of employees standing around socializing while one person makes the sandwiches. But it's on my way home and they have a private parking lot. Hopefully they will continue to improve.
