I can't write anything bad about Panera Bread! I mean, they open super early, they close late, and they have nothing but delicious baked fresh goodness to offer! Be it a fresh salad with feta, fruit, or your favorite dressing, or a hot cup of tomato or broccoli cheddar soup, Panera always provides! Don't forget the yummy sandwiches, such as their Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich! YUM! I am drooling just writing this!!

I am a panera customer from past 5 years and had theor pick 2 combo numerous times at various locations. I was served a sandwich that was half thesize of a normal pick 2 sandwich. When I brought that to the notice of the store manager I was told that's the size served. I have had this stuff at various locations and had a great experience with panera. I felt this place rips off customers. Beware!!!

I love Panera's asiago and cinnamon crunch bagels. Sooo fantastic. Their pastry section is also very good. As far as their soup, salads, etc...everything tastes fine but I tend to think they're a little over priced for what you get. And I have noticed that at this location the amount of food you get varies on who is preparing it.

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat as we were hungry. I got a bagel and some chicken noodle soup. It was good. It's nothing that I haven't had before, but the service was decent. The place was clean and the quality of the food was decent as well.

Panera is Panera is Panera but I've put a few catering orders through here now and they've done a consistently great job hooking me up with plates, utensils and everything else I ordered, all while separating items as requested and filling the order accurately. I'm not a huge fan of Panera itself but for a straight forward no hassle catering option this is my first choice. The staff here is friendly and they've even helped me carry my order to my car. 4 stars for their catering service and, FYI you can order everything online ahead of time and customize whatever you need. Catering aside, I've tried almost their entire menu (I eat a lot of Panera as a rep). I can say that the Italian combo might be my favorite sandwich from them. It's stacked and hearty and the Italian roll is a sturdy foundation that holds up whereas some of their sandwich breads fall apart or get mushy. Next would be their Mediterranean Veggie...it hits all the right notes for me and the roasted red peppers and feta are flawless together. One thing I'm not a fan of is their quinoa barley chicken broth bowl...actually all their broth bowls are way way too salty. It tasted good enough but there's no reason it needs to be so salty. I did like the kale or escarole in the bowl though. Their new tomato mozzarella flatbreads...yawn. They do make a pretty solid baguette for a chain though.

Very upset this is the second time I got burnt food. Usually the food is good but the past few times have not been good.

Stopped by early in the morning to beat the rush but just the opposite happened. Apparently the server was in a hurry or maybe was more concerned about what her coworkers did over the weekend (the conversation she was having while I was trying to order) rather than pay attention to what I was saying. Either way the service was less than desirable

Stopped by on a Monday evening for some coffee and a pastry or two. The coffee station was a huge mess -- sugar and creamer everywhere, spilled, dried coffee stains. The signs on the coffee say that the pots were last fresh around 3:30 -- nearly four hours ago. Two of the four were empty and would not dispense even a drop of coffee and the third had only a half a cup left. To top it all off, when we got our food and went looking for a table, they were equally dirty -- none of the open tables had been bussed, and were littered with crumbs and spills from previous customers. (This is a frequent problem at this restaurant, as we consistently have to clean up our own table before we sit down at it). Skip this one and go to the (relatively) nearby Novi store, at least until this one cleans up its act.

I came here after 9 AM on a Wednesday morning, I expected it to be busier than it actually was. The service was quite good, I didn't feel rushed and they let me take my time to decide. A nice selection of pastries and bagels and other things. I settled for a sesame bagel with cream cheese which was really good. I didn't get to try their coffee since I was in a rush but hopefully I can try it next time. It feels like poor man's "The Corner Bakery".

I enjoy Panera for their sandwiches, soups and seasonal specials. I'm not really a bagel and baked goods kind of person, so those items don't really get it for me. They had a nice promotional poster up for their shrimp roll sandwich and corn chowder. Both of those items sounded really good to me, so I ordered them and gave them a try. The shrimp roll was expensive...10.49 just for the sandwich, but I will tell you that it was filled with quality U16 shrimp. The shrimp were served cold and tossed in a mayonnaise based dressing on a soft, split egg bread type roll with lettuce and basil chiffonade. They were a little heavy handed with the herbs, but I picked them off and the sandwich was very tasty, drippy and good. The corn chowder was also very sweet, fresh and delicious. It had bits of sun dried tomato and herbs which gave it a deeper flavor than just soupy creamed corn. I could definitely order this soup again, and probably next time, a bowl of it! I am sure that preparation of these items is equal across the Panera chain and this is a very typical example of a Panera location. One way that this restaurant stands out is that they generally have a very nice book swapping shelf. I polished off a pretty decent book while I was there and there were a few others that seemed interesting as well. Overall, Panera is very similar wherever you go, but this is a pretty good place to go and grab a tasty (although spendy for what it is) and quick bite. If you are in the area, give it a try.

The frustrating part about this Panera Bread is that it's wicked inconsistent: when it's good, it's REALLY good, and when it's bad, it's REALLY bad. And it's a toss-up whenever you go. My biggest beef lies in their "Rapid Pickup" system. Although it is advertised that food will be ready 10 minutes after ordering, this is almost never the case (and I'm fine with waiting an extra minute or two during a lunch rush, but to double or nearly triple the wait time is unacceptable). Simply put: if you can't cater to an online ordering system due to lack of staff or resources, don't offer it as an option. Sometimes the food is made to spec, and other times it's SO not (for example, I always order the Asian Sesame salad; sometimes it's made perfectly and other times it's missing key ingredients, like cilantro or wonton strips). There also seems to be an organization/cross-contamination issue, too (or maybe there's lots of hasty station spillage?) as sometimes I'll get to "enjoy" a stray piece of bleu cheese in my dressing cup or even worse, in my salad, which winds up tainting my entire meal. Panera Bread: your company has a great reputation -- don't allow easily avoidable errors such as these to tarnish your brand!

I had a great experience at this Panera. Pamela was the cashier in the bakery area. She was informative and extremely kind. This cafe was very clean. Our food was ready as soon as I found a seat and walked back to the counter during a busy lunch rush. The squash soup was amazing!! I highly recommend this place for lunch!
