I previously gave this place a 3.5 Stars (which for me is still 3 stars) I complained about the beets in the Greek Salad but they've gotten better since then. They raised the price a bit on their drive through pizza deal (large round) used to be $5 something now they changed it to 6 or 7. I have to say, I don't care because the pizza here is so much better and substantial than the other $5 deals at other places. Update: They moved. I recently gave them 4 stars but they changed their recipe for the pizza or whoever is making it is not doing it the same as it was at the 8 mile location. Actually liked the "greasier" version better, there was more flavor. The new place looks good, it's carryout/delivery only.

I've waited to do a review as they had some growing pains for quite awhile once they moved here from the location in Detroit. Now that they have calmed down a bit they are now my go to local non-chain pizza place. Usually order delivery and they are quick with the pizza still at the point of taking a bite and getting the molten cheese burn on your tongue :). Nicely sauced pies and toppings are plenty. get the little pepperonis, they are so much better.

I have went to this location for pizza serveral times and LOVE the pizza, breadsticks and canolies (spelling). Their food is AMAZING!! What is not amazing is their customer service. I cannot believe how the employees treat the customers. Mind you I am a part time manager at Hungry Howies so for me to say another place has amazing pizza is huge. I called to order a pizza and breadsticks for delivery one night. Asked for garlic dipping sauce with the bread. The girl on the phone (Sophia, Natalia? some odd name) was beyond rude and everything I asked for she made me feel it was a complete inconveience to her. Pizza, bread, garlic sauce. Not too hard. Especially since I work at a pizza place I know to know the order BEFORE calling. She was so short on the phone, rude and had an attitude the whole time like it was a bother to her. No big deal to me, sometimes it happens. I receive my pizza delivered with no garlic sauce. Mind you it is not the drivers fault so I did not say anything to him. Gave him a tip and sent him on his way. However, normally I would not call back because it is not that serious. BUT the only reason the garlic sauce was forgotten was because of the irresponsible girl that took the order. I called back and asked to talk to the manager. Same girl answered and told me "he's busy right now". I asked to speak to him again and she hung up on me. Naturally, I called back and she placed me back on hold never to come back. I called from a different number and finally got to talk to the "manager". I explained to the manager the issue I was having with the employees attitude and how I was missing an item due to that. Explained I did not want anything for free and did not want a refund, just simply to have him address the employee's attitude towards the customer. I also informed him that she hung up on me and he continued to tell me that she did not? He then came back to tell me that he wanted to pull up my order and get it right. It is NOT about the order as I explained. It is about the CARELESS EMPLOYEE. I explained that I would like him to address that. All he said to me was "are we done now"? ARE YOU KIDDING? He first said his name was Tom when he answered then I asked again and he said Matt? I asked for his boss's name which he said was Tyrone? but that he is on vacation so who knows when he can help me. I WILL NEVER RETURN BECAUSE OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! RUDE, IRRESPONSIBLE AND CARELESS.

I'm changing my review to five stars because this is the best non change carryout pizza around. They have great deals and the pizza is delicious.

Incredibly disappointed with Little Italy Pizzeria - Eastpointe, Michigan that my guests had to leave hungry tonight because my telephone number was allegedly written down incorrectly (I could tell that the order taker was training a new employee) and then I was lied to when I called (after 90 minutes) to find out where my pizzas were ("they have left the store"). After calling a third time, I was finally told they hadn't even started my order because I was a "new customer" and the order had to be verified by telephone and they had the wrong number. I have been a customer for years. I was never asked for my telephone number during the initial call, nor was it read back to me, so I don't know how they managed to get it wrong (assuming they have some sort caller ID/electronic ordering system), While I really like the food and this evening would a first for my guests to try the pizza - this whole experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth (because there certainly no taste of food there)! Well at least we had a bag of chips and some cookies. . . . Normally I would have given them 5 stars for the food but the customer service issues need to resolved. They seem to have some customer service issues since moving from Detroit to Eastpointe. I would also note that I put a similar post on their FB page and instead of responding to address the complaint they just removed the post from their page,

The pizza I ordered was good but it was kind of greasy and the crust was really thin. It kind of made the pizza sloppy. The breadsticks were good but for some reason the breadsticks were bigger than the pizza was and usually its the other way around

First this is one of the few that will deliver in what is becoming a rougher neighborhood. The food is average. The round pizza is ok but greasy. The chicken parmesan was not so good stay away from that one. The dinner rolls were very good. The bread sticks were good as well. I wouldn't go out of my way to get this food, but they do deliver where most won't.

Got a newspaper insert for Little Italy and convinced my friends to try it. We ordered a deepdish and cheese sticks. They went to pick the order up and were gone for about an hour. Seems the flyers were wrong, the location hasn't opened up yet. (could have made a mention of that when we called to order) So they were directed to another location. And after all the driving around, the pizza was greasy and really unpleasantly spiced. The cheese sticks were breaded with the gravely onion ring stuff, but they were a lot better than the pizza. And be aware that the prices vary by the store you visit. The not opened store is on 10 mile, near I 94, and the functioning one is on 8 mile bet Kelly and Gratiot.
