Mr Cheap strikes again I do not like spending money. The cheaper I can get something all the better. I have not spent more than 99c for a 2 liter pop in years. This sometimes means drinking some vile concoction that happens to be the only brand thats on sale. I'm used to it, and I am not apt to change in the future. So when I encountered Church's extraordinary deal, 2 pieces for a mere 99c, I scoffed. I was used to it. 99cents means it can't be good. I was wrong and pleasantly surprised. When I lived in Toledo, there were 4 locations, In the D, there are many more. This outpost maybe one of the best. While waiting for my food, I had a chance to observe the crew at work. They actually had plenty of people on duty, and I could see that they had plenty of chicken on hand.Despite half the west side being in line ahead of me, it moved with dispatch, and I was outside enjoying my meal within 15 minutes of entering said line. The chicken was great, not too greasy, but very hot and tasty. I even got an adequate supply of napkins, which is a concept which escapes the folks in Toledo. They seem to think that fried chicken is a neat meal and you will not need to wipe your hands. At least these folks realize that. I like this location, and its not too far a bike ride. Win win all around. Another good reason to come into the D for some yummy chicken. Good stuff, Maynard!!!
