Slow, but friendly service. Brutally unprofessional front desk service though, as the gentleman bombastically proclaimed that we would pay 18% gratuity and said he would get his manager.......all before we said a word (we were entirely fine with paying the 18%, it was a large group).

One of the best Chilli's locations around. The food is always good and I've always been pleased with the service.

Worst Chili's in the entire universe. The food sucks, never seasoned correctly. Last time I had spinach so salty I had to spit it out, BUT in their defense, it may have been intentional because they certainly didn't want to help us at 11:15 when they closed at 12:00 (reasonable time before close, IMO). It was also a Friday night and we were getting a carry out, which we had to wait 30 minutes for.The nastiest attitudes and most unprofessional behavior ever. I'm still going to eat here because it's 3 minutes from my house and who can beat $10 for a steak, but I won't be happy about it. Lol. Just know your experience is gonna be a bad time.

This a pretty good Chili's in my opinion. Never really had any true problems come out of this restaurant. Most of my waiters and waitresses are always on point, bringing the food out in a timely manner, having respect for the customers, and just making sure that we are enjoying our time here at the restaurant. It's an updated Chili's and you don't really feel up underneath the other customers which is nice also.

Usually when my girlfriend and I go to this particular Chili's, we have a nice time without a problem. But this time, it was much different - we got shafted. We were seated just about right in front of the kitchen so my girlfriend decided to watch the cook work. After about 8 minutes, our waitress appeared and introduced herself. We made our drink orders and 2 appetizers. My girlfriends face started to twist as she watched our cook make our appetizers in 12 minutes and put it to the side, possibly under a warmer. He then proceeded to pick up the phone on the wall while he talked and prepared other orders. We didn't actually get our appetizers until 10 minutes later as she watched our waitress lazily deliver our food. My nachos were lukewarm and her Texas Cheese fries were slightly colder than mine. After eating what we could, we paid on the kiosk and left after never seeing or hearing our waitress again. We might as well have ordered from 'to go' and imagined the cook was wearing gloves, might have been better. We won't be returning to this Chili's.

I stopped in this Chili's for lunch because it is very close to the hotel I am staying in so the short walk across the parking lot was convenient. Lunch special had a few beers and plenty of meals priced just right for lunch. I do believe tall drafts were $2. All my food was cooked as ordered and it came out fast. The beer was ice cold just like it should be. I didn't experience the dirty side like others have reported. It was actually cleaner than I expected. Erica was my waitress and she was very polite and checked on me often. I will be sure to visits this place again.

If I could give it zero stars, I would! First of all, we walked into a half empty restaurant and were told it would be 10-15 minutes for a table. This was fine. We foolishly thought the wait was because they needed to pull a chair up to a table to accommodate our party of 5. We chatted about why we needed to wait and when my father asked the hostess why we were waiting, she very condescendingly tapped her fingernail on the kiosk and said "there is a list" rather rudely. I admit that it was at that point that I got hostile. I demand to be treated better when I'm willing to give my money to a business. I eventually asked for the manager. When she finally came out, the hostess continued to mock me behind the managers back. At this point, the manager told her to go to the back. I told her the situation, and she just apologized. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing, but she didn't attempt to make excuses for the wait or the employee's behavior. I asked for the district managers phone number. When she went to the back, the childish hostess came back and continued to mock us. (This abhorrent behavior is exactly what I am teaching my children how NOT to act.) The number that the manager gave me does not seem to be a working number because nobody answers it and the mailbox is full. So, either they are getting a lot of complaints from this location, or it's a BS number. I worked at this particular Chili's to put myself through college. I waited tables and bartended there. When I worked there, we never had a wait list if there clean, empty tables. We sat the tables and explained that there is a short staff and that the kitchen was running behind. This is what a good manager does, seats the patrons so that they will order drinks and or appetizers while they wait. But, not this Chili's. They make you wait. Then hire such juvenile people with zero life experience and who were apparently raised thinking that they can act any which way that they want without consequence. (I can assure you that if that ever happened under any one of my former managers, this person would have been fired that very night.) This experience has left an awful taste in my mouth with the entire Chili's chain. I tried to contact corporate and the mobile site was useless. This experience is a sad one that demonstrates how ungrateful and unprofessional this hostess's generation is.

Not worth one star. Went on Friday , June 19/2015 with my husband , just wanted to have light food and few margaritas. The African American girl at the bar was rude. When we asked for special this afternoon, she pointed and the digital menu and said, we can read it ourselves... After order, she just ignored us , doing that very well . Such a server should NOT work at any restaurant. Not friendly approach . In fact she was having hostile attitude.... We left her zero tip. Maybe she will think about this, WHY. This is restaurant on the corner of Ford, and Southfield rd. Don't go there rather visit another location at Allen Park.

I wish I could give no stars. We made a large group reservation (13) and the first member arrived and was told there was no reservation. Then we waited for our reservation maker, who told the hostess that she called that day and asked why they couldn't find the reservation. This resulted in the hostess changing her story and saying they never said that. And now we were just waiting for a table to open. Then we sat for over an hour. OVER AN HOUR for a reservation. Several times during this hour, we told the hostess we could be separated, because we were starving at this point. Finally, we do get seated, at four different tables. Now, our waitress comes quickly. We tell her we're ready to order everything. Three appetizers and drinks. And I specifically tell her to bring out the food as its ready. That was the last time we spoke to "Heather" who warned us that the bartender was new and it'd take a while on those drinks. Another waitress delivered our drinks soon after and a runner brought out two appetizers, not the third (chips and salsa, real hard). We started eating waiting for our waitress to check back so we could tell her about the missing app. Wishful thinking. Then our food arrived. Overcooked and oversalted. My sister and I each ordered steaks. I ordered rare and received a medium well. Not even medium. Medium well. She ordered medium rare and received medium. At this point we were running so late and had a show to get to that we just ate them. We told this new waitress/runner/who is this but another person I don't know that we never received the chips and salsa but it was pointless now because we had our food so just remove it from our bill. She said, "Oh sorry about that. At least your steaks look good." After eating, we started the process to pay at the table. However, instead of splitting our check the machine was splitting our check and another tables check. So now we had to play the guessing game of who and where our waitress was. We asked several waiters to send her over. When we finally figure out who our waitress is, we realize she has walked by our table several times. When we finally had a real human and told her the problem with the machine, she proceeded to tell us how to do it. I, again, told her the problem, and then she decided to show us how to do it. All the while another waitress is asking her about tables and coverage. Real appropriate. Alas, she sees the problem, sighs heavily and obviously as she walks away and brings a paper copy. Then I have to tell her how to split it (only 2 ways) item by item where I had to tell her again about no chips n salsa and another excuse ensued, "we're having an off night. " Seriously, the worst dining experience of my life. In EVERY way possible.

So let me start with, Chili's is a chain restaurant and everything is usually the same no matter where you are in the country. Well, I used the bathroom immediately after we sat down, and the walk there Really had me wanting to leave and go somewhere else. However, we were hungry and I didn't feel like a big fuss. The bathroom needed serious attention, and the restaurant in general was disgusting. The floor looked like a gross disaster. Our table wasn't properly wiped down, and had crumbs on it down by the ketchup and condiments. No eye for detail...just ewww. I will say our waitress was very nice, and I can't say a bad word about here. The hostess and person who opened the door for us as we left were nice. The food was at best sub-par and not Hot. Granted after seeing the movie. "Waiting", I don't send back food unless it's a 911 emergency lol. I will never go back to This location.

I wouldn't ordinarily eat at a Chili's, but it was 2:30 in the afternoon, I'd eaten nothing all day except a bagel for breakfast, I was without a car, the hotel restaurant was closed until dinner (which seemed a long time away), and my only choices within walking distance were this or Wendy's. So Chili's won by default. I ordered a California Club Toasted Sandwich, which the menu describes as turkey, ham, applewood smoked bacon, avocado, Swiss, tomatoes, onions, lettuce and seasoned mayo on wheat Texas toast, which came with fries. The sandwich was filling and unobjectionable. (Which, from me, is a compliment.) Because I checked in on foursquare, we were given a free bowl of nacho chips and salsa, which on the other hand, weren't very good. (Not sure why that surprised me, but it did.) The salsa was runny and flavorless, little more than watery tomato paste. We poked at it a bit with the unremarkable chips before our sandwiches arrived, then quickly abandoned it all. All the restaurant employees were on top of their game, greeting us happily. They were very bubbly, making us feel welcome. They were so upbeat they wouldn't have seemed out of place at Disney World. They definitely made it a pleasant place to eat. If only the food had been up to their smiles. I'd rate the experience a 2 1/2.

Let me start with I was in Detroit from Pittsburgh. Staying at the hotel right next to this location. I was in my room doing work for two hours then wanted to meet friends at Chili's for some beers and a bite to eat. I love hockey and hers that is the closest place to watch the NHL playoffs. I entered the restaurant and the "security guard" was not the most friendly greeter. I said hi to him and walked past the hostess station and joined my friends at the bar. When I asked the bartender for a beer, she politely said she couldn't serve me... Managers orders. I was shocked and thought it was a prank brought on by my friends. I laughed it off then proceeded to order a beer. That's when she said she honestly couldn't serve me. So the I ordered a water with a lemon. I then asked her "how many waters do I have to drink until I can get a beer?". The bartender got pissy with our group and told her manager what I said. Not two minutes later, the security guard (if you can call him that) asked me and my friends to finish our drinks and leave. Then on our way out he pointed us to another bar around the corner. The funny thing is I hadn't even started drinking yet! So with that said they lost my business forever, my friends business for the night, and pointed us to a place who got all of our business.

I have to give it to this Chili's as I have had pretty good experiences here. After being burnt by another major chain, we went to this Chili's. The staff greeted us at the door, my waitress was pleasant and the food was good. They offer 2 for $20 specials which is cool if you are dining with a friend/spouse. The kids menu is roughly $5, but offers a variety of side choices including cinnamon apples (they are delicious & not overly sweet). I liked that we didn't have to wait 30+ minutes for our entrees and overall it was a good experience.

I usually get great service here. However, the service I got yesterday by Judy was awful. First of all she just took forever to bring requested items or she simply didn't bring the item at all. When asked why she didn't bring something she would snap back we never officially order it. Also my mom's food was cold. After all was said and done I didn't leave a tip and that is my first time ever doing so. I would like to leave a tip to Judy now though: if you have a lousy memory write the order down and pay attention to all tables not just the ones you "assume" will leave you a bigger tip.
