I have been coming here for years. LA is well known around town even from the old days at their old location. I can't think of many negatives to share with you about this place. The staff is extremely professional in comparison to competitors in the area. It's almost overwhelming (the professionalism) only because I'm so used to "ya cuz" and "ok bro" from the Dearborn area. Super clean place and very well put together. Diverse menu. My one complaint!! The wife has a peanut allergy and although MOST items state all the ingredients, not all of them do. They use pesto in almost everything, which is fine but the Eggplant Parmesan (delicious BTW) doesn't mention pesto! Good thing we asked. They made arrangements and still made her the food, minus the pesto. I continue to come here. Fairly priced. Must try at least once!

Service is so good, food is delicious. Their complimentary bread is so fresh served with butter. But always ask for sauce because mostly they use BBQ sauce so if you are not a fan of BBQ sauce you better ask.

Can't get enough of this place! Delicious food - try the chicken portabella, almond chicken, or newborn salad; you can't go wrong. The service is always prompt and friendly. Definitely a favorite!

Great food, a little sloppy with too much sauce on sandwiches. Soups are great. They just need more focus on customer service and what that means. It's great that everyone gets along but in front of the customers a professional demeanor should be displayed. More professionalism and less joking around and cellphone time.

After 30+ check-ins here, I can honestly say this is one of my favorite restaurants. I've had several lunches and quite a few dinners... What keeps me coming back???? GREAT food, EXCEPTIONAL prices and OUTSTANDING service!!! My lunchtime favorite is the Caesar Chicken Wrap, which comes with a house salad and your choice of seasoned potato wedges or rice. The rice is really good, but I always choose the potato wedges as they are seasoned and baked perfectly every time. :) The salad has an outstanding house dressing on it and the wrap is always incredible! I've also had the Buffalo chicken and spicy chicken wraps which are very good also... I've also tried many of the main dishes for dinner and have never been disappointed... Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. Taking a line from George Zimmer, "I guarantee it." :)

I just went here with my cousins this past weekend and loved it! We all ordered different dishes and they were all exceptional. I highly recommend it. PLUS - you get 10% off if you Instagram a picture of your food :)

I can't pick my favorite appetizer or dish here because everything is just amazing. My mother and I come here often to grab a bite to eat when we want to catch up. Their staff is amazing and the restaurant is very clean! Lately I have been stuck on the Almond chicken but most of the time I would find myself getting a bbq chicken wrap with extra mushrooms. Whatever you choose to go with, you will not be disappointed!

I cannot begin to stress how much I love this place! I've dined at LA Bistro when they were in a much smaller location a few doors down and again after they moved to a classier location. The food here is really unique for a restaurant in Dearborn. I absolutely LOVE the almond chicken here- it's amazing! The portion for the 2 piece sounds small, but it's very filling. Every time I've ordered, the chicken was cooked to perfection, and the sauce complements it perfectly. These guys even do a great salad- the newborn chicken was the best salad I've ever had. The service was excellent at both locations. They were very accommodating when we sprung a party of 10-15 people for dinner on them with no reservations. The waiters here have to be some of the friendliest, most polite I've encountered. And almost every time I've been to this place, the owner was visible and very nice to everyone. I can't count the number of times I've insisted on eating at this place with friends. I hope LA Bistro continues to do well with their business, they're just amazing.

L.A. Bistro is always a great place for lunch or dinner. Their new contemporary location is leaps and bounds more pleasant than their former location Food taste is consistent and comes to the table hot. Love their hot bread. I've been to this bistro a quite a few times and have never walked away disappointed. The staff is friendly and the owner seems to be front and center. The service can be a bit slow at times, but good help is sometimes hard to find and it seems server turnover is quite frequent. I don't like that they sometimes don't serve everyone at your table at once when its a big party, but I understand they want all meals served hot and this can be tricky during peak times. The Almond Chicken is to die for, as is the Beef Portabello Baguette. If you're not thrilled with your experience, don't hesitate to ask for the owner Souheil, he'll make sure it's fixed right on the spot. There is something for everyone including a kids menu. FIVE STARS!

It's a nice atmosphere and the food is always good and for a good price. Servers are very friendly and nice. Good for any groups too. I always go and Would definitely recommend.

This place used to be packed...not much anymore. Ditched the cozy neighborhood restaurant feel for something a lil "classier". The set up is nice, service is great, food just isn't what it used to be. My potatoes were burnt, my salad was plain and my roll up was...nothing to brag about. Not sure if they hired new chefs, or started using different ingredients, but it's just not that special. It's also kind of annoying that you can hear EVERYTHING that is going on in the kitchen. I get it, people talk at work, but rude comments should not float into the dinning room.

L.A. Bistro stands apart from most of their competition in the area. A narrow place tucked midblock on the north side of Michigan Ave. could easily be missed. There is metered parking directly behind the building. For lunch, every meal on the menu is $7.50, which includes an entree, salad and the option of rice or herbed potato wedges. Everything offered is a solid notch above anything else you'll find that's similar in the area. The key for me is the price+not bar food=perfect. After eating here at least a couple dozen times in the past few years and say their food is very consistent. The shrimp gambari, salmon, or beef portobello sandwiches are all great! I've not ate there in the evening, so I don't know about their menu, but I do know you can bring in your own bottle of wine. :)

I haven't been there, so I can't attest to the atmosphere, but tonight, I was at home, feeling sick to my stomach and unable to hold down food. I called 'Delivery On Us', a local service that contracts with restaurants that don't otherwise offer home delivery and asked the lovely woman who answered where I might get good chicken soup from. She told me, "Well, I'm a vegetarian, but I'll make an exception for LA Bistro's chicken soup, it is just that good." I have to say, I am extremely picky about my chicken soup- I was raised in a traditional Jewish home, in which homemade chicken soup was a staple. I took one bite of this soup, and felt my upset stomach relax, and a sense of calm come over me. The main differences between this place's soup and my mom's is that they use lemon for added depth of flavor, and rice instead of egg noodles. Oh, and of course there were no matzoh balls. :-P I will absolutely be ordering from this restaurant again!

We had received a verbal recommendation to check out L.A. Bistro for dinner as a great place to enjoy some Mediterranean fare. What we got was decent food at a higher price -- with a LOOOOONG wait time, a missed order, and no attempts at an appropriate comp to make it right. Wow. So here's my Yelp! We were seated right away in a fairly spacious/clean dining area with hard floors, which of course make for a fairly noisy space. Chairs and tables slide on it very easily. As we dined, there were two large parties (6-8 people in each) who were eating shortly after we arrived, and a few other occupied tables. For the most part, the place was otherwise EMPTY. The wait staff was attentive, and the bread was quite good. When we asked for more, it took several minutes (10) to bring it out. Appetizers came out after a bit of a wait, but not unreasonably so. What was unreasonable was the ONE HOUR wait for our food!! And when our food finally came out, one of the dishes was missing! So one person in our party of four sat and waited while the server went back to the kitchen to check it out. The maître d' came over to apologize saying that they were "really busy" and had just moved into this larger location. "Really busy"?? At the point he said this, the large parties were long gone, and there were only two other tables with people in the place! The apology fell on deaf ears when the mistake should have equated to a free meal for the guest who's dinner was missed after an hour. Will not go back, will not recommend. The service (waiter was attentive and apologetic) and the decent food are all that keep this from being a 1-star. Maitre 'd needs to learn about "making it right" when he's got an admitted, acknowledged error...

This is a great place for a healthy lunch.. I've had the shrimp burger which is very tasty and its in a pita, this comes with salad inc dressing and potato wedges or rice for about $7.50. Also tried the salmon wrap but i prefer the shrimp burger more.. The staff are very friendly, it looks like its owned by the father and son? Sad part is, they don't have any beers or wines..:-(. which i guess makes this place healthy. This would have been 5 stars but no alcohol is a shame as a cold beer would have hit the spot with the shrimp burger. 4 stars it is.

  • Sali A.

I liked this place, the food was really good, (Almond Chicken topped the menu) seating isn't very family friendly! So you might have to reserve for a large private table. I'd come back with a friend or two though. Waiter was attentive, kept refilling our glasses. Only downside to the service was he forgot one of our orders, which was a disappointment but the food made up for it.

This place a pretty good. There kind of hidden in the strip mall on Michigan ave and would be easy to miss. I have only been here for lunch and my go to meal is the thanksgiving turkey baguette. Serve is pretty fast, specially for Dearborn. I was able to get in and out in under 45 mins. I think I must admit part of the draw to this place is the attractive waitress that is always there.

We're here in town for a couple of days and this is our second visit in 3 days. The food here is just amazing. We have had a variety of selections and everything was delicious. My personal favorite, the Lemon Rice Chicken soup, the Almond Crusted Chicken, the Sami special, and the Caesar Chicken Wrap. There's quality in every dish. You can tell that the chef & owner took time to create the menu. You taste the delicious ingredients it in every bite. There's also something to be said about an owner that takes personal pride in his establishment. I saw the owner personally greeting patrons, and he greeted us as well with such warmth that truly made us feel welcome. Will always stop here on our future visits.

If I could give a Big Fat Zero ever I would. This place has the worst customer service ever. Unbelievable...that they are still open. I walk in with mom and brother after my sons graduation. Without being acknowledge we were told to sit down. A group of six were seated and we were told someone would be with us. After a 5 min wait someone finally came towards us and pulled out an IPad mini. He proceeded to add us to a list sarcastically saying there will be a 30 min wait. After this I stood up and told mom lets go somewhere else. He barked at me literally, yelled and said, "What's wrong u can't wait? Do you act like this at any restaurant you go too?" I was So shocked and the other patrons were in Awe at what they had just observed! Looking at this piece of nothing employee yelling at a potential client for not wanting to stay and wait. I didn't reply, but my mom said we don't want to wait. Others before us didn't wait on a list. The restaurant was only half empty!!! When you want to run a restaurant you have to have good management not some farmer fresh off the boat who doesn't know how to talk to people. I will campaign to have nobody ever enter this place due to how they treated me and my family! What an insult and embarrassment! Disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselves...

Always impressed with this place. I am always hosting out of town guest and this is always my go to place because they do it right every time. Great representation of our beautiful downtown Dearborn Area. The owner Suhail is always very welcoming and the staff is so attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend this place. We are here tonight with a group of 20 people and everyone is happy because the menu satisfies everyone. One suggestion, please add a hamburger to the menu. Thank you La Bistro

I can not stress how much I loved my experience here. The food was delicious, and a great find in the sea of nothing in Dearborn. My wrap was super fresh and perfectly balanced. The salad was fantastic. And the Instagram discount is great marketing!

Ok, one of the new items on the menu is called the "Sami special," it's like any other entree I've had. It's grilled chicken breast with a sauce that is so yummy that I forgot what it was while I was eating and the waiter was explaining it to me for the third time. It's sprinkled with goat cheese and there is butter somewhere on the plate under the chicken....phenomenal. It comes with mashed potatoes and veggies, side of either soup or salad. This entree has replaced my usual almond chicken. Thank you Sami and Sou.

Good food good prices good service. Something is slightly off about the decor, I can't really put my finger on it. Maybe the ceiling? Not sure. Cool little place.

Came to LA bistro with a group of 6 friends and their kids. The place is nice and clean. The service was friendly and quick. We arrived at 8.15. The kitchen closes at 8 but when we called ahead they said they'd keep it until 8.30, which was nice. The food was average: I didn't have much time to look into the menu, I got the spicy chicken wrap. It was huge, and came with potato wedges and salad. Overall average experience.

Had a lovely dinner with family, and I would certainly go back. The menu is almost comically diverse - as you can see from the various reviews for Lebanese, Italian, Chinese and Mexican dishes. I don't believe that a restaurant can really excel at everything, but I have no evidence to support that belief in the case of LA Bistro. Everything we ordered was quite good. Only 3 stars because some of the menu descriptions were unclear for people with food restrictions. My companion with the gluten allergy bears some responsibility for not double checking when she placed her order, but it would never occur to me that a dish described as "broiled" would arrive breaded. So, LA Bistro shares some blame there. (Since she has previously asked about gluten in her salad dressing, I do think the server blew it here) Our family will go back, and I think you should check them out too. But I hope the mediocre rating in the sea of positives will stand out enough for you to heed this warning: if you have dietary restrictions, don't trust their menu information. Ask.

This place is a workday luncheon staple in Dearborn. Can't beat the prices or the awesome food! You get so much for under $10 including a delicious salad and bread to start prior to your main dish. Usually pretty busy during lunch hours but the staff is attentive and turnover is relatively quick. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good value and food to match!

Stopped in last night for dinner. Excellent service and owner Su was very cordial and professional. The filet topped with sliced portobello was delicious.

Excellent place to dine with friends or family and the food is halal serving Lebanese, Mediterranean and Italian food! I was visiting from Cleveland and a friend suggested it, will definitely be back and the service was wonderful.

Despite getting my order wrong the first time (which is a big turn off for me, usually), the food completely redeemed L.A.Bistro . Bbq chicken pizza and buffalo wrap were awesome. The sides are premade and probably prepped before hand. However the main dishes I ordered were absolutely delicious. Hot, fresh, and delectable. The owner of the place apologized many times and gave me a 20 dollar gift card for my wait (lunch hour - spent 30 mins waiting). Understandable that screw ups can happen. Again, I think the food really smoothed over any kind of negative view I had of this place. Clean and Mediterranean look. Charming dining area. Friendly staff. Great for lunch or even dinner with friends.

Delicious food and excellent service! I had the almond crusted chicken and it was really good and the portion was huge. The house salad was full of veggies and the house peppercorn dressing was delicious. Everyone at my table really enjoyed their meal. The owners and waitstaff are really friendly and took great care of us.

I really liked this restaurant. It was really top notch. The food was also really good as well. They really try to "feed you" in this establishment! It's almost like you're at Grandma's!

My coworkers and I get takeout almost every day from here. I could live off their Almond chicken! But Really everything is so yummy. Friendly staff . Professional organized and very clean. Consistency is rare in the food industry but food here is on point every time . The owner is so sweet . Anytime I have my friends daughter in the car with me He brings my food to my car and takes my card to and from. Love love love this place!!

This review is based on one dish... Their lobster & crab sandwich. Too much imitation crab, little (to no) lobster, and way too much mayo. The sandwich and salad were both very bland.

LA Bistro is a Gheesling family favorite. Anytime we are in Dearborn we try eat at this delicious restaurant. Why do we love it? Because the food is consistently fantastic, well priced and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The menu is massive - they have salads, sandwiches, steaks, pasta and pizza. I have tried a variety of dishes and everything has been VERY tasty and unique. Recently, Court and I stopped in after visiting the park we adopted for the summer. We ordered two different sandwiches to split; the tuna wrap and the T.B.C. baguette (tomato, basil and cheese). Both sandwiches were very yummy and came with a house salad and potato skins. A couple days later, my cousin had her wedding shower at LA Bistro and It. Was. Perfect. On Sundays the restaurant doesn't open until 3pm, so the shower was at noon and we had the entire place to ourselves! The setting was ideal for a large group: there were long tables, the food was served family style and there was enough space for everyone to mingle before and after! Everything on the menu is priced VERY reasonably!! Sandwiches are around $8, pizzas are $9 and pastas are about $10. Every time I visit LA Bistro there are lots of customers enjoying the warm, welcoming, casual atmosphere and the delicious food.

This restaurant is a disgrace to all restaurants. Anyone who actually enjoys this establishment is lying to themselves. First, the interior decor and ambience is supposed to give off a fine dining experience and although the decor is nice, the staff absolutely murders the supposed ambience. Greasy hair gel, pressed button up shirts and talking politely doesn't automatically classify you as a classy waiter. In fact these guys are just immature college kids. Now about the food, the worst part about this place. I've been here plenty of times and everything I've had on the menu is horrible. You could literally go to the local grocery store and make the same entrees and they would taste exactly the same because it's all frozen foods or just pre-made sugary sauces. I once ordered a steak from here medium rare and they brought it to me completely well done because the chef didn't even know what medium rare meant. I heard them arguing about it right in front of me. Not to mention the steak had the texture of a sponge. Everyone loves the almond chicken from here, but all it is is heavily breaded with a stinky pre made sauce and frozen vegetables. In essence, this restaurant is equivalent to a fast food joint with "fancy" waiters.

Food is quite good. I've been working on the new brewery next door so have eaten here a couple times, staff is very nice would like to try it for dinner sometime.

    (4)
  • Chad C.

The food is good, but one dimensional - over-the-top rich sauces and crusts that overpower whatever it is you're eating. If that's your thing, this is right up your alley. If delicacy and subtlety are, go elsewhere. The almond chicken photo on the website, by the way, doesn't look like what I received. Their staff is warm and attentive.

Went there for lunch today. I tried the Chicken Portobello roll up. It came with the seasoned potatoes and a salad- all for only $8. It was absolutely amazing! The potatoes were perfectly seasoned and just melted in my mouth. The salad was fresh with the tastiest dressing and the roll up was fabulous. I like that the owner is very attentive to all the guests and makes sure everyone is well taken care of. Our waiter was great. You definitely can't beat the prices- I'll definitely be back again.

Creative and tasty dishes, and really hospitable service. One of our dishes was not what we had been expecting, so the waiter, the chef and the manager all came out to speak to us. They made it right and we had a good experience.

The place is located in a nice area. Downtown dearborn is known for places like this one. I recommend you try the chicken portebello roll up and don't forget to dip it in ranch.

Amazing food at an affordable price! Walking in, the place feels clean and well taken care of. My wife hates cooking and this is my go to place for Italian food. My favorite dish: The Shrimp Burger and with cranberry nectar. Wonderful job branding the restraint from the entrance, down the hall, and on the menus. Not to mention the wonderful service.

Came here with my wife via a LivingSocial Deal, $15 for 30, and we were in the mood for a "free" lunch so we stopped by here yesterday for lunch. Atmosphere/Layout was appealing and very classy casual... as in, very bright windows, luxurious booths along with tables throughout. There were plenty of casually dressed lunchers along with business people and small groups. Not too loud, although it was quite busy (about 75% full on a Wednesday lunch at noon). Don't know why they had Sportscenter on the 2 flat screen tv's along the front and back of the room, it could have easily been something a little more neutral, but they were on mute so it didn't really matter. Food was excellent, albeit a tad slow (probably due to the lunch rush). Since we had a little more leeway that the average lunch diner, we ordered the Calamari which was not very large, but the quality and flavor were excellent. Crisp, golden and delicious- only served with melted butter (i usually prefer marinara or other sauce, but still good). I had the steak and portobello baquette which was grilled on a panini press and not very substantive, but the meat was fragrant and tender. It was definitely a good deal at about 8 bucks, and included a side salad and the roasted potatoes (a little salty for my taste, but still better than being bland). My wife got the mushroom ravioli and it was delicious... it tasted very fresh and the sauce was rich and creamy and tasted like mushroom as it should have. The vegetable side dish was a simple warm salad of green beans and yellow carrots... they were kind of bland, but since the rich sauce was right there, they were able to be dipped and more sauce was enjoyed. Above all, 5 stars for cleanliness and quality; only minus 1 star because they don't serve alcohol (a nice beer with my baguette or glass of wine with the ravioli would have made it unanimous). Hopefully they get their liquor license soon, it would make a really nice place the new star in Dearborn.

  • Zeshaan M.

I work in Dearborn so I stop by here for lunch about once a month. I have never come here for dinner. But lunch portions are ample. With any sandwich, rollup, or baguettes you get a good size home salad and choice of rice or fries. Taste is also very good, probably closer to 4 star. Service has always been pretty good. Food comes out pretty fast which is a big plus. You will pay $10 after tax/tip so its farily reasonable (unless you get one of their plates, that will run you at least $15). Place has ample seating and a nice ambiance. Probably a 4.5 star, but that is not an option.

    (5)
  • Erin W.

The dining room is small. Strange, dark murals decorate the walls. The waiter tried to flirt with me and my coworkers- it was uncomfortable. An extensive menu with salads, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, entrees... I have noticed that when restaurants try to offer everything, they end up having many mediocre choices. I think this might be what happened to LA Bistro. My salad was supposed to be Nicoise- it was, in reality, a scoop of bland tuna salad atop romaine with a few scant cucumber slices. And it was almost $9.

My boyfriend took me here on my birthday. We just happened to come across it. I ordered the Alcapress while my boyfriend had coffee. I loved what I ordered and enjoyed my experience. The interior was lovely. The staff was very accommodating as well.

  • Becki K.

Wow! I think they make their own bread! I went here for the first time, today, for lunch, had a tuna bagette, and it was amazing. The place was packed but our waiter was right on it. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that they don't serve alcohol. that would push it over the top!

  • Meriam N.

This place sucks. Most of their menu is STRAIGHT UP copy-pasted from Deliziosa Bistros menu (which is down the street) yet the food manages to be horrible. They also have a mush smaller selection of dishes. If you don't believe me, order the same dish at both restaurants and you'll see exactly what I mean. How can you possibly screw up newborn beef or eggplant parmesan?

    (1)
  • Aaron D.

This used to be a 5-star restaurant, but since they've moved locations it seems they've also changed chefs. In trying to expand, it seems they've lost some of what made it great.

I love LA Bistro. The service is speedy and the food is consistently great. It's hard to go wrong with any dish on the menu. I love the gambari (shrimp) sandwich, the BBQ chicken pizza, the sandwiches, the hummus and pretty much everything I've tried. But the almond chicken is truly exceptional due to the thin breaded chicken and wonderful sauce. Recently I took two coworkers from Texas and they were equally amazed. The only problem was that the portion was so big, none of us could finish it. The 3 piece chicken can feed 3 people - seriously! The bread at LA Bistro is also amazing, and tastes great with hummus or dipped in their chicken lemon rice soup. What are you waiting for? Go get some great food!

    (5)
  • Nicole K.

Shrimp burger and the hummus appetizer served with warm pita bread are delicious! The portions are huge so it's enough food for 2 people to share. Prices are very reasonable too.

I am honestly always disappointed by this place every time I go. From the host stand to checking out. The service it's hardly ever pleasant. The only reason I go there is for a friend's birthday out of obligations. I would recommend going to delizious down the road, for better food, shorter wait and a meaningful service experience.

I love this place and have been there several times. I always get the same thing, the Caesar Chicken Rollup. I also have gone in big groups when everyone has gotten something different and everyone said their meal was awesome. Great service, great food, low prices!!!!

Always a very attentive wait staff! These guys really focus on details. Great dishes at a very reasonable price! As with everything in Downtown Dearborn, parking can be a pain but it's always been worth it.

Since moving back to Dearborn, this is definitely one of my favorite spots. Food is delicious, not overpriced, and you do not leave hungry. My girlfriend always enjoys the salmon. I love the BBQ chicken pizza. Service is excellent, manager works to make sure everyone is taken care of and treated well.

Everytime I come here , i ask myself why don't i come her more often ? This place is really good! The food is catered to what you are in the mood for and not just one genre . I have probably tried everything on the menu and everything was delicious. Pesto calamari is exquisite, and the veggie risotto is to die for. Keep up the good work, i will be visiting more often !

The service here wasn't what I heard. The waiter was very rude and took his sweet time getting the menus and and water. Even after I ordered I asked for some extra ranch and he took 5 minutes to get the ranch. That was after I had finished my salad and my primary meal had come. The food is excellent but the service is average. They could do a better job.

Based on the online menu's descriptions, I was expecting fantastic Italian dishes from this place. However, I was incredibly mistaken. Not only did my waitress bring me the wrong thing, but it reminded me of the Chef Boyardee garbage I ate when I was five. My side of steamed vegetables included rubbery green beans and mush-like steamed bell pepper. It was awful. I do not recommend coming to this place. Go to Bravo! if you want a quality Italian meal.

Love the food, but HATE the service!! No matter how much I enjoy a place, if I am not treated with decent customer service I will never return to it. That is the case with L.A. Bistro.

In summary, great ! Would recommend it. Food - always good and a lot of options to select from: pizza, wraps, sandwiches, pasta....etc. My favorite dishes are the mushroom risotto and the almond chicken. The bread is really good. I wish they had more soup options than just the chicken noodles. Service - hit or miss, but at least most of the time it's pretty good, but there were couple of occasions when I wasn't satisfied, but the good food & the location bring me back. Location - in nice west Dearborn area. Meter parking behind the place. The inside is spacious, modern, & clean. Could be very noisy sometimes.

Did not have a good experience here. Our table did not have our dinners served at the same time. Refills on drinks had to be asked for multiple times. They didn't have bread ready for the tables, we had to wait every time we wanted bread. The biggest issue was the price, too much for too poor food and service.

L.A. is a great place to dine. The menu had a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The owners are always there and always ready to serve. The chicken artichoke is a favorite as well as the new born beef baguette. The fish in cream sauce is tasty and a nice change. Love this place.

I've eaten here twice; the first time, my husband and I had a good and cozy experience-- tasty food, friendly service, nothing out of this world but solidly enjoyable. The second time, I ate alone and the food was A+ and the service was terrible. Perhaps they were understaffed that night (Dearborn Homecoming was in progress), but I stood at the back of the restaurant for several minutes with the server/hostess looking directly at me yet not acknowledging my presence. When she did seat me, she seemed to forget about me for long periods-- I still hadn't received my drink by the time my food arrived. Finally, someone else-- the manager or perhaps the owner-- came out to apologize and to explain to me that the flavor of soda I wanted (strawberry) wasn't available. I ordered a different flavor of soda and then proceeded to enjoy a delicious pizza with a wonderful crust. I would definitely go back for the food alone, but the service deserves an asterisk.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
