This place exemplifies everything I hate about eating out. I guess if you LOVE sports and wings, this is the place for you. Personally, I think the folks that come here are annoying and the food isn't that great. This restaurant is like something out of the movie "Idiocracy". I would avoid at all costs unless you were the captain of the football team in high school and you're trying to keep those memories alive. So basically, Food =yuck, ambiance =annoying. I'd eat at McDonalds before eating at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Honestly all was great here. Service with a smile. Clean. Food was good. THey lost me when they charged me an extra $1.20 because I asked for extra sauce and a side of honey mustard for my son who likes to dip his fries. We've eaten at many different BWW before and we always order the same thing. This was the first time we've ever been charged extra for this. Maybe if they put enough sauce on their wings, we wouldn't have to ask for extra sauce. Or maybe that's the idea?? It's not about the money, it's the principal.

B Dub's boneless wings have always been a guilty pleasure of mine. For years, the hot sauce wings dipped in ranch are among my absolute favorites! Best bet is to get their lunch special before 11-12pm with fries and a pop, or on Thursday's they usually run a special on the boneless wings! (Regular wings are on sale cheaper on a different day.) The only issue I've had on more than one occasion is the size of the boneless wings. I have gotten a few that are about the size of a nickel/quarter that they count as one of the 8 or 12 that I purchase. Other than that no problems!

There is only paid parking near this restaurant. It took 32 minutes for them to give us our order for a take out. Make sure that you call in ahead of time, because this can get costly. The chicken wings themselves were kind of tough. The sauce was great though. The Caribbean Jerk sauce was tasty and spicy hot, but not overwhelmingly hot. The Asian Zing sauce was sweet and spicy. It was a good way to cool your palette after eating the Caribbean Jerk chicken. The onion rings were pretty much average. The saving grace of this place is the sauces. They get the sauces right. They just need to work on getting the chicken to be tender and not tough.

For a place that is somewhat hidden away under the lofts, it's sure BUSY! The place looks small and isolated, but once you go in its a madhouse! Guess that's a good thing right? Wrong. It literally took 40 minutes to get a small order of boneless chicken and fries! That explains the crowds of people waiting for their food. The server was awesome and the food was mediocre (fries were cold), place was clean. But to wait that long, I could of bought some and cooked it myself at this point. The line for carry out was just as ridiculous. Will I ever visit this specific location again? not a chance!

The food has gone downhill here. Do NOT get their soups at all. Everytime I leave here I have heartburn and still walk out hungry and unsatisfied. Boneless wings were my favorite from bdubs but now they're just cold and very hard to eat almost every time I go.

The servers are good and the food is good but my sole purpose of this review is to let everyone know how rude and self righteous the manager is. Short and with a buzzed head guy. Upon walking in we were "greeted" with a glaring face and an order to see ID's (from the manager). We did so and before we got to our seats we overheard him yelling at a waitress. I will quote him "Next person to f**king tell me their table needs to see a manager is getting fired". The only reason we stayed was because we knew the server and that unnamed server had some choice words about him as well. So if you happen to go and see him make sure to go directly to him and not ask your server for him.

Well there isn't much to say......I went here again after lossing my plea to instead go to "Tilted Kilt", with my friends to watch another UFC event. The service was average....The food still below average and the parking accommodation was "HORRABLE". The only option is a paid public lot behind the location, total time to exit 35 minutes......never again.

Oh yeah, not much bad things I can say about this place. Who can say anything bad about a place that has so many varieties of Chicken wings!! You have to try the fried pickles and the sauce to dip them in....very tasty!! Good selection of beers, and tv all around so you will never miss any action. Moderate to average prices items. Good for groups. A bit busy on weekends though.

This is the best bdubs around not only because of their food but the servers are always nice and the bartender is the best she's fast and always treats us right!

I actually love this place! The food is great, the atmosphere is lively, and I've yet to have a bad experience from a server. I highly recommend this place to any wing addict like myself!

I will not be returning any time soon. Unfriendly service, mediocre food, no manager visible ever, and they have no care that it took 30 minutes to get your food. Waited 15 minutes after to finally get our servers attention and by then, I just wanted to leave. Don't waste your time or money. (Including your parking fee for the pleasure of bad service)

Their boneless wings have gotten smaller and tougher since I first started going to BW3's. But the wrap sandwiches and burgers are great, and they have delicious sauces on their wings. The service at this location is mediocre at best. Polite servers who don't stop by your table very often and don't seem interested in providing drink refills. I'd recommend going somewhere else if you feel like a friendly touch of service. Very fun atmosphere, though, and lots of TVs if you're interested in watching a sports event.

  • Deb B.

Not too happy that BWWs advertises watching bowl games and then only turns on sound for Michigan basketball games. Some of us would like to listen to the ND game. I asked twice and was ignored.

  • Tom C.

Food is decent. Like the large variety of sauces. Great variety of sandwiches if wings aren't your thing. Beer is cold and they have good drink specials. Our server was excellent and very attentive to us and our kids.

  • Sarah R.

I love the boneless wings, but the waitstaff could improve. The restaurant was full of customers, but I observed just one person waiting on a table. The rest of the staff were huddled around the bar and take-out area, talking. However, my take-out order was ready in less than five minutes.

I was a big B-dubs fan at Michigan State - the people in there knew me by name. Maybe that's why I got a 2.9 grade point average. Shut up. This place doesn't have the college vibe, which was disappointing. I was looking for nostalgia, it wasn't there, so I got a little sad. But the nice selection of beers, and the variety of sauces pulled me back to reality. The average service also was fairly similar to days and nights passed at the B-dubs in E. Lansing. The pay parking lot is also a little annoying. Really Dearborn? Are you kidding me? No, "that'll be $3.50".

    (3)
  • Angie L.

Terrible service almost every time we come here. Lunch time is a joke. We've waited over an hour for our lunch before. My husband loves the sauce but I would rather go elsewhere. I get it, food comes out slower when it's busy but waiting an hour for boneless tenders sucks. The kitchen needs to get it together. We've declared Bdubs "off the list" of places to go.

  • Bill S.

Quick and friendly servers. Weak heat from the wings. I had to mix the Blazin with the Mango Habanero because they were out of the Ghost Pepper Wings. Some heat but no flavor. Watching sports is always a great experience with multiple big screens.

Ooooooooh, good ol' downtown Dearborn! I typically don't frequent this area since I moved away 10 years ago, but sometimes it's good to go back. BDubs is BDubs, no matter which location you chose. Menus are the same, scenery is the same, crowds are NOT! We stopped in on a Tuesday night...and unlike so many of the other locations, this one was full of business professionals as opposed to booze soaked 21 year olds that tend to be hanging out at other locations! Food was good, as always. If you have never tried the deep fried pickles, DO IT! The one annoying part of this trip was having to pay for parking! Just one of the reasons that I don't hang out in this area much anymore. Not so much BDubs fault, but it does play a factor in why I chose to go to other locations.

  • Matt P.

This has to be one of the slowest BW3's I've ever been to. Most of the other ones have a guarantee withy their lunch menu, if your food isn't delivered within 15min I believe, the it's free. I can see why this one doesn't have that.

    (2)
  • Gregory S.

Good atmosphere, plenty of tvs, so you can see whatever it is you want, no matter where you're seated. The staff is friendly, attentive, and the bar is stacked with draft brews, and liquor. Only thing is the parking, it'll cost you about $3.75 for a few hours, unless you can find a spot that's free.

Jake convinced me to come here after a visit to the Biergarten was a bust (there was no where to sit, bummer.) I wish he hadn't convinced me, but I thought it could be good. The service was slow, because waitresses at Bdub's don't care about serving customers in a timely manner. We ordered drinks and the bartender looked like he wanted to gouge his eyes out with an ice pick. Because the bartender was determining the best method of suicide, he completely ignored our drink order. We sat without drinks for about 10 minutes after our waitress took our order, then she finally showed up with drinks in hand. My "hurricane" was grenadine and pineapple juice... couldn't taste the liquor at all and I'm a total lightweight. I figured for $6.50, I'd get a little alcohol in my alcoholic beverage. My bad! The wings also took about 15-20 minutes to get to us after ordering and there weren't many people in the place at all, maybe 4-5 tables total. The wings were really great, I can't complain about the food at all. It's just literally everything else about Buffalo Wild Wings that sucks.

  • Mark S.

Don't know why there are so many poor reviews, as I've been here close to 10 times and have never had a bad experience. It's BWW for pete's sake, so you must know what you're in for when you walk in. The wings are always great (boneless are my favorite), the beer is cheap, and there are approximately a kajillion TVs. The service is the same as anywhere else, and the ambience is sports and wings. They also have WiFi, which is great when you want to get out of the office for an extended lunch but still get some work done. They have outlets at a lot of the booths, and have great lunch specials as well.

Most Yelp reviews are an attempt to influence people's point of view in trying a restaurant. This one, I'm asking Yelpers to help me out. Because I keep looking for buffalo wings that top B-Dubs in the Detroit Metro area. And I keep failing miserably--almost to the point where I'm not coming up with any other options. Not that B-Dubs makes bad wings. On the contrary, this is the rare American chain restaurant that isn't afraid to launch a blistering inferno on our taste buds. The Blazin' sauce apparently comes in between 200,000 and 350,000 scoviles. And it comes with a nice balance of heat and vinegar flavor that makes it seem as your tastebuds are dancing as Nero fiddles away while your mouth burns. If all out heat isn't your thing, there are a dozen other flavors. I tend to go hot--I really like the Mango Habanero and the Hot when I'm not feeling like eating wings that will bring me to tears. But the Garlic Parmesan isn't a bad little sauce, if you want something a little cooler. In fact, the only sauce I'd stay away from is the Asian Zing, which makes your wings come across as mall Chinese food. Albeit, B-Dubs comes complete with the pitfall that most American chain places have. The qualifications for landing a job there seems to be a two part test: Question 1: Can you walk? Question 2: Can you talk? Throw in low pay and what I can imagine are non-existent tips and you have all the ingredients for really bad service. What you end up with is slightly better food than the average American chain restaurant with roughly the same service. It's not bad, but I'd still like to top it. I turn to you, my brothers in Yelp, to give me better suggestions.

If I owned this Buffalo Wild Wings location I would be embarassed. Stopped by to support a charity lunch and had an awful experience. I'll list a few of the negatives below. 1.) Could not be seated at a normal table. Host said there would be a wait. After walking by, there were several open tables, most of which looked to be dirty...which leads me to point 2. 2.) Dirty tables and bar. The table next to us in the dining area was probably dirty from the previous party for about 30-40 minutes before being bused. At the main bar in the back, there was a fort of cups. Cups were literally stacked 6-8 high and 6-8 wide. Instead of refilling our drinks using the cups we had, the guy gave us new cups, of which they maybe had 4 remaining at the drink station after that. 3.) The wait. It took us an hour and a half to complete our lunch with no delay on our part. It took us about 10-15 minutes to see someone for a drink order, 10-15 more minutes before we ordered, 20 minutes to get the food, and 10-15 waiting for someone to offer to bring the bill after we ate, not to mention our drinks were empty for quite awhile before anyone asked about a refill. I'm not normally picky about service at a sports bar, but the receipts there actually have suggested tips laid out, which was funny since the service was far from "blazin'". I can deal with a small wait for service of food if a place is hoppin' before a big game, but this was just lunch. The place was maybe at 75% capacity in terms of tables used, and there wasn't heavy drinking like you might see on a Friday or Saturday night. P.S. The limit time sauce "Jammin Jalopeno" was garbage. Hopefully they can hire some help here or get a manager than can run the place, but until then, I'd opt for Cheli's, Buddy's, or Bailey's down the street.

I work in Dearborn and have visited this BW3s maybe 7 times within the last few years. The wait staff isn't very friendly and really don't come by the table often enough. The food is average at best. There are many other bars in the area that have better food. I went there this week (03/13/2012) and got 12 boneless wings, small fry and a pop. It was $17 and with tip, $20. That's just crazy. $20 for chicken wings? I won't be going back.

If you have testicles and like sports, chances are you will like this place. I hate this place with a deep seated passion. It all comes down to the fact that their wings suck. The sauces are blah and they have plenty to choose from. But the wings are just soggy and nasty. The teriyaki is quite possibly the most disgusting of all of them (and trust me, I have had most of the sauces). Inedible and disgusting. Hooters, hot shorts and all, has better wings.

I came here on the 25th of March 2012 to get a late drink and some snack while I was visitng Detroit for the first time. The waiters come so often you feel pressured in a way where they tell you eat and get out. I will think twice before coming here again on my next visit to Detroit!!!

  • Anson P.

I happen to like Buffalo Wild Wings. Granted, I have testicles (I checked in the shower recently) and I like sports. The wings are ok, not the best I've ever had, but they get the job done. When it's snowing outside, for possibly the 10th day in a row, you have to go out and drown your sorrows with wings and beer. I got myself 12 parmesan garlic wings and 12 asian zings. Normally, I would get 12 mango habaneros, but today I don't know what happened. The parmesan garlics are a little salty, so that's where beer or something to drink comes in handy. The 12 asian zings were a big mistake. They tasted like a crappy version of terryaki with a little bit of kick to it. I'll stick with the mango habaneros. I washed it all down with some Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. If you like beer with a fruity aftertaste, go for it. This is one of the smaller Buffalo Wild Wings that I've been to. I rolled in trying to escape the snow and was welcomed by a bartender who laughs like Mr. Belding from Saved By the Bell. Cool guy though. I must say this about Detroit. The city sucks, but the people are A-OK. I consulted with another patron who happened to have lived in Virginia at one point who recommended some strip joints where I can enjoy a fine T-Bone steak. Perhaps, I shall follow up on his recommendation. You can come in here and find someone to discuss with how the Detroit Lions should rebuild. Parking sucks. There's a lot behind the place off of MIchigan Avenue that charges 50 cents an hour. Where I come from, we don't pay for parking. Where does this place think it is? New York?

Never Again! I have been to several Buffalo Wild Wings locations and the Dearborn, MI location was the worse so far. I was dining in after a baptism with a group which consisted of 10 people. One person in the group sent back nachos because she doesn't eat meat and she misread the description. Another person sent back her child's burger because it had a sour smell. This guy comes out and approached the table stating "Yo, Yo, Yo, What's up?, What's the problem?". Everyone at the table was shocked and were a little confused. The person whom he stood by asked, "are you the manager". He stated, "yeah". He then went on to say he doesn't throw away food and he's not taking anything off the bill. When the burger was sent back we asked the waiter to replace it with chicken tenders. Eventually, he agreed to replace the burger as asked. After the food (chicken tenders) was served, I asked to speak back to the manager. When he arrived to the table, I introduced myself and informed him of his unprofessional manner. He never stated his name until I asked. Mr. Joe Stout began to apologize but then goes on re-stating he is not in the business of throwing food away. In so many words, Mr. Stout says if a customer orders something they don't like they have to eat it so he doesn't lose money. I have never heard of a manager speak to customers in such an unprofessional manner. I will not frequent the Dearborn location ever and the other 6 adults stated the same. ... and we only went because of a charity fundraiser

Spiked lemonade is good and the wings are great. Only complaint slow service. Better wait staff and I would be a regular. Like the quizz game but tonight they don't have it.

  • Buffalo Wild Wings is a restaurant chain that offers finger-lickin' good traditional and boneless style buffalo wings that's chicken, not buffalo, Jessica Simpson. The atmosphere is casual, laidback, fun and like a restuarant and sports bar combined into one. At some locations, the dining area and bar area are separated somewhat, but the Deaborn location is very open so guests can mingle and easily transition from dinner to drinking. The bar offers bar games like darts and Golden Tee, and there are big screens broadcasting the big games throughout the bar and dining area. When ordering your food, you should try the wings. You get to choose the sauces from a list ranging from sweet to so spicy your mouth is on fire. If you are not a wings fan, the burger is pretty good, the wrap sandwiches are good, the salads look appetizing (I've never tried one), and the onion rings are huge. As for drinks, the bar has a pretty decent selection on tap of both domestic and import beers. Every month a different beer is on special for a discounted price, if you order the big beer (not the pint). Sunday nights are $3 you call its. Drinks ordered after 11 p.m. on Saturdays are $3, with a few exceptions. Wednesday is $1 bottle domestic beers for power hour followed by trivia, which is fun to play as a team of friends. Nicknamed B. Dubs, this downtown west Dearborn restaurant/bar is a great place to grab some grub before heading to the other bars just a short walk down Michigan Ave. Parking in downtown Dearborn has been converted to paid parking, so have some quarters for meters or cash for the parking lot behind B.Dubs or the parking garage off of Village Drive.

I've only been to that bww a few times but i have to say it was just fine. I was reading some of these posts and it sounds like to me you guys are the type of customers that can never be pleased with your service!!!! it took 15 minutes for your wings? how long do you think it takes to cook wings? you say there was only 4-5 tables in the place??? well I work in the hospitality Industry and I can give you a few answers that might help..... chicken takes any where from 8 to 10 minutes to cook. did you happen to know how many carry-outs were in the kitchen while you were there? i'm guessing you didn't !!!! you just sit back and presume you got it all figured out........ unfortunately the corporate side of the house made it this way and really messed it up for private owners such as myself..... all you have to do is say something is wrong or my service was bad even if it wasn't and some manager runs along and takes something off your bill or gives you a ice cream or some shit.... like i said it's corporates fault for putting up with that shit but if you think about it thats why your drink is so weak because they are gonna get their money no matter what!!!!! and people flock to places like bww and applebees and ruby tuesdays and corporate will put up with giving free stuff to people because they always get them on the back end.

Pretty much the same as any other BWW in the chain.

Went to the Dearborn location with my parents and girlfriend for a fundraiser for the Henry Ford CC baseball team. Granted there were a lot of people there (3 pm on a Sunday), we waited about 15 minutes for a table. Once we were sat, it took our server nearly 10 minutes to come by just to introduce himself and get our orders. He brought my dad the wrong beer, my mom asked for water with lemon and she just got water, girlfriend asked for diet Pepsi and got water. Our food probably took close to 30 mins to get to the table. My girlfriend and I both ordered the crispy chicken wrap with just chicken and cheese, but it arrived with everything on it. This is the first time I've been to this location, so it could be different here, but we weren't asked if we wanted fries or chips and salsa with our wraps and we were given chips and salsa. I work in a restaurant myself, so I understand how hectic it can be, especially when as busy as they were, but there were too many mistakes made. I likely won't be returning to this location.

You'd think to actually sit in a fast food setting with Tv's you'd get fast service right! Not only will you get the worst service at this location but old and cold soggy wings.

    (1)
  • Husein A.

Used to be great. Now the staff is the worst, laziest, most rude staff every. They get your order wrong 9 times out of 10. And it's always cold. Also the last three times I have been there they totally forgot about me. Now they have a new rule not allowing anyone under 21.. Into a restaurant. My sister isn't 21 yet and we have gone there for years and now they won't let her. The manager doesn't care, he thinks coupons solve every problem. This is the worst establishment in the franchise. They are better off closing it down. This isn't a restaurant it's a joke with kids running the show.
