Went to Arabian Village tonight and had the best Yemeni food I've ever had! It was the same course I always order: lamb soup, fahsah, and haneet! But these guys just do it better with more flavor AND LOVE! Waleed the Manager kept checking in on us, pushing that customer service level to a place seldom seen in rocky establishments. AND FAMILY STYLE SEATING FTW! Why haven't more restaurants caught on to this idea!?!? Having 3 kids can be a challenge to go out to eat without being a bit embarrassed and perhaps ruin someone else's night. But seating in the family section allows for kids to go nuts and you're only disturbing other folks with kids! WILL DEFINITELY RETURN! I

Opened up new horizons. I never knew how good Yemeni food could be. Can't wait to make this my weekly stop. The staff was very humble and attentive. Most importantly the food was fresh, great quality, and rich in flavor. Don't overlook this Eastside gem.

Best place in Dearborn Mi. True Yemeni traditional food. Made fresh, taste fresh and delicious. I had the traditional soup, with freshly made bread wow, that was amazing. Then I had their chicken baryani a great dish indeed. Service was on time. Only drawback, place is a little small but can accommodate small to midsize groups. Thanks to my friend Shahid who introduced me to this place.

The people were very generous, friendly, and the food was tender and just outstanding! We ordered the Arabian village combo and it was the authentic and savory food we were craving. I recommend everyone come here!

The food was just okay, but you must be careful about the price. Waleed will charge you more than on the menu. Just be careful, though.

I have been there only twice and every time i am there i feel so welcomed. Waleed the manager, is an awesome guy with an amazing customer service skills. My overall review will be given down here : 1/ perfect customer service and professional staff. 2/ food is so delicious; basically what ever you will order will be exactly the way you love. 3/ management obviously is perfect. 4/ place is always CLEAN,NEAT, and ORGANIZED. 5/ the menu has varyingly options; yemenie, shamie and such and such. 6/ stable prices in every visit, unlike so many other yemenie restaurants that i have been to in Dix. 7/ perfect spot to hit with non-yemeni friends to introduce to yemenie food. I hope you find this review helpful, because it took a while from me to find a decent spot like this one. They earned 5 BIG stars.

Food is beyond great. Was making this a weekly event until i noticed after ordering the same thing every week, the prices were not the same. Started to get more and more expensive. $2 for a can of pop was my breaking point. Besides that food is unbelievably good.

I have been away from the Detroit area (and the US) for that matter for a little over a year - did you miss me? Probably not, but I did miss the quality of Arab food here. I ambled upon this while test driving a Ford nearby. If the Ford/Arab combo is not the quintessential Dearborn experience, I do not know what is. As soon as you walk in, there are regulars watching some Arabic channel and drinking coffee. Comforting. They have the traditional Arabic stuff - shwarma, hummus, etc., but the person taking my order suggesting haneth. I know nothing about Yemeni food, nor do I know if haneth is Yemeni food, so I ran with it. They started me with the lentil soup. Delicious-I sopped up every last drop with the bread they gave me. This was a teaser of things to come. They then brought me a ginormous plate of fluffy yellow rice and generous chunks of mutton. The mutton was fall off the bone tender accompanied by deliciously seasoned potatoes. There was enough food for me to have lunch the next day (which of course I forgot about). I ate here a week ago and do not know enough about food preparation to tell you the nuances of why I liked this, but man this was delicious. Really delicious. I cannot wait to get back or even discover what else is delicious nearby.
