I would not call this place a "hidden gem" because it sits on prime Dearborn real estate. This is some of the best food I've had in Dearborn. One thing about Dearborn restaurants: great food awful, awful service. The people here are actually polite and provide great service! The food is excellent as well! Nice work Al-Saha I hope you keep it up!

After a good lunch, they would not accept their coupon, stating "we don't honor that anymore". When I showed it explicitly states "DOES NOT EXPIRE" on the coupon, they would only offer a smaller discount and 'a discount when I return'. Like there is a snowballs chance I would come back to a place that falsely advertises and doesn't stand by it's word.

My family and I are here from Wisconsin visiting family in Detroit. We stopped at one of our favorite places in the area, Shatila Food Products. We were looking for some lunch when I noticed this place across the parking lot. I am glad we did. My wife and I really enjoy middle eastern food and this place will not disappoint you. The grilled chicken, lamb and beef kabobs are fantastic and the salad is great. The hummus may the best I have ever tasted. We have a very picky 13 year old. She loved it! No lemonade but the fruit smoothy was fresh and tasty. The food is fresh and genuine and the spices were authentic. We will be back when we next visit.

The owners of this establishment take pride in the cuisine. It's wonderful! The prices are fair and enormous plating. It's a bit on the small side but cozy.

Al Saha is my favorite Arabic restaurant in Dearborn. Everything comes in large proportions for a low price. The ambiance of the restaurant is amazing and attractive. The service is awesome and they will go out of their way to make everything the best for you. The food is fresh, the restaurant is clean and the owners are some of the nicest people ever. You will not be disappointed if you go there. In fact, I bet you will return!

The staff is a little rough, but the food makes up for it. The older male waiter is very rough around the edges, but when he realized I knew Arabic, he got super friendly. Anyway. .. I ordered the beef kebabs. Amazing. The meat falls right off the skewer. The rice is so good. The humus is more than enough. I ordered a small and my husband and I couldn't even finish it. Recommended!

There food is great. The restaraunt looks clean and you can see the kitchen is spotless. The fish dinners are always fresh and delicious. I love the salad and the dressing is full of flavor. One of their best dishes is the grilled chicken. It comes with tasty garlic sauce and leaves you full

Shawarma is the real deal here, traditional and tasty.. Chicken shawarma is good with garlic sauce and pickle. beef shawarma with Tahini sauce, tomatoes and parsley.. Good stuf

I've been here twice and I've ordered the white fish and red snapper, both baked with the yellow rice and fattoush. Their red snapper is much better although the white fish wasn't bad. They served a tahini sauce with it that I didn't care for. Their fattoush is okay. I've had better. I give it a four star because the fish is delicious!!!

The hummus is really smooth. It's probably my favorite item on the menu and the thin pita slices complement it just perfectly. The chicken schwarma was okay. The Lebanese salad was a little bitter but maybe that's intentional. Although the portions are large, the prices are high. It was about $15 for my chicken schwarma dinner and I definitely wasn't greeted with a smile. Also, I informed them of my onion allergy and there were onions in the salad. I had to drive back the next day for them to remake it. I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Absolutely amazing. Got the Family Platter for our family of 9. Reasonably priced and plenty of food. We even had left overs. Delicious meats were very tender. Got falafel, fatoush, tabbouleh and hummus with the platter. Especially loved the fatoush and awesome, creamy hummus. Also had good service. Highly recommend!

I ordered a lot of food for a meeting. The food was delivered right on time, still hot and it was very reasonably priced. They have very yummy hummus and excellent grape leaves. The tawook and chicken shawarma sandwiches were also delicious. Will definitely be back.

I've lived in the area all my life, and for those of you that don't get the reference, it's all Middle-Eastern residents. I thought I was Arabic food outed, but then this place opened. Their seafood mixed grill with rice is great! Then try their hummus was chunks if meat on it. The meat mixed with pine nuts is such a great combo. Juices are also a great thing to get I usually go for carrot with apple for health purposes. My mother goes for carot and parsly, the vitality drink, makes you feel amazing. People are great. We're locals to them now, so we always receive good service.

I stopped in for a chicken shwarma and a falafel wrap. Both were very good, though my first bite of shwarma was pure garlic sauce. Maybe better distribution in the future. The staff was nice. Décor was nice in some areas but the walls in the back are bare, odd. Easy parking, close to Shatila for dessert. I would give it another try if in the area

Visited the place in ramadan, after getting strong recommendation from my dear hubby. Total disappointment for me & sadly for him too. The wait staff was quick to take us although he seemed a bit lost(no smile, no asking if we needed a drink). The seating was very uncomfortable, The chairs to table height is disproportionate(too high a table , At least for me).& the place was loud, really loud! Food: we ordered a platter for two.yellow rice was overcooked(basmati rice needs tender care for a perfect flavor. unlike arabic white rice which are tougher & may sustain couple of extra minute in the boiling water). Chicken cubes were too big & were undercooked & dry at the same time.Tasted bland. The hummus was good! Garlic sauce tasted like 'nothing'/ out of a package.Salad was also just a bunch of greens cut & put together. For a Mediterranean place this is a very basic thing they better be good if not the best! Meat: DH liked it but kept saying, its not the same like last times. Overall i decided not to come to al- saha again( for as long as i have Al-ameer, Hamido's & the better options available). my hubby still went there one more time for iftar with friends but decided not to go there again because this time even the meat wasnt good.

OK I am from Sterling Heights and my last trip out to Dearborn in Sept 2012 I was SO excited to get some KICK AZZ Arabic food that I hit THREE places in search of it, all of which either recommended or by high ratings online...I left feeling I could have had better in Sterling Heights - Yeah I'm starting the SH v. DB Mid-East food war.... But then, I found Al Saha. Baba Ghanooj spot on. Falafel, YUM, I actually don't take a liking to falafel but there's I sure did fancy. The hummus IS good like others have said. You know the disappointment when you get hummus and feel like you just wasted $$ and calories on straight up whipped garbanzo beans? No not so....it has the flavor it is light and smooth and it is divine. The bf had the shawarma combo (chx and beef) and was very pleased. Dinner CAME WITH side of pickled turnips, which us weirdos usually order on t he side cuz apparently everyone else just considers these a garnish.... Garlic was the SPICY garlic kind, oh yeah live on the edge. Rice was kinda meh..but it's rice, no need for it, you'll fill up on the other stuff. No probs with service, super friendly. AL SAHA you are my go to place when I am in DB each year. XO

Great place to eat at in Dearborn. If you are in the mood for some grilled meat, shish tawook, kafta and some tabouli, with great garlic paste and tasty hummus. The serve also raw meat and fresh onions, if you don't leave stuffed than something is wrong, try the family tray it's awesome!

food was great, nice portions, service a bit on slow, but worth the wait!! enough parking spaces to park, new find!! we had about 4 adults and 7 kids in our party and every thing cost like $134 so it's not that pricey either. everything seemed fresh, not brown/ spoiled lattuce. will be back.

Best dishes are the hammas, tabuli, shawarma and falafel !! They kind a need to work on the service though but the food is good

The deboned chicken is where it's at! The sauce is amazing and the garlic sauce is better here than others I've had. The prices are perfect and they aren't stingy with the bread/garlic sauce. I just wish they would expand so we can have it delivered to Plymouth.
