Rosie D’s Pizza

Reviews:
Best local pizza, friendly staff, fresh ingredients, and great prices! You should let Rosie D's become your regular go-to pizza joint like we have. We've tried a lot of the pizza places around and once we found Rosie D's, it definitely has reigned the best! Our regular orders are an extra large cheese pizza with garlic butter crust--the total price is only around like $7.90! Or a medium pizza with tomatoes and green peppers. It's unbeatable pricing and it's delicious! We haven't tried much else on the menu except the pizza, but I can assure you that the pizza..is...great! We've had family from Florida come here and they say it's the best pizza they've had, and want it every time they come.
I have driven 600 miles for Rosie D's Pizza! Granted, I do visit the hubby's relatives on the trip, but the primary purpose is the pizza. If we hit town after they are closed, I am anxiously waiting until opening the next day to get my double-cheese double-pepperoni fix. Great quality ingredients, good crust, best pizza I have had in any city (NY, Chicago, and more). If you want a good pie, this is the place to go.
My son told me about Rosie D so I tried it and ever since it's my favorite thin crust pizza in the area prices are very reasonable have not tried the the other items on the menu yet but told everything is good highly recommend this place !!

A friend of my husband picked up a cake for our anniversary/birthday and it was so decedent and delicious! It was a chocolate ice cream cake. It was creamy and sweet with the perfect amount of spongy, soft cake. It also had snickers candy on it! We enjoyed at a local restaurant and the people at the table next to us were totally eyeing the cake. We ended up sharing and they too were impressed. By far the best cake I've tasted since my move to Michigan. Move over Baskin Robbins!
This is a nice bakery, usually always empty, but pastry is really good. Not too sweet, but sweet enough to enjoy with a coffee. every now and than I have gotten a stale one, but otherwise they are great. I think they are good at custom orders.
My friend and I came here to pick up sweets to take to a bonfire get together. They had small cakes, petit ones that were so cute and delicious. They had puffs, carrot cake, two types of cannoli's. Place is very small and we missed it three times trying to find it. Only one staff member behind the counter, slow motion and there were quite a few people there waiting. Clean, delicious cakes, and happy I was taken there. Yumm!

I order at least once a month. I love their veggie pizza loaded with veggies, they are not cheap on their toppings. Make sure you get their garlic Parmesan crust. Would recommend due to great food and very nice staff.
In town visiting The Henry Ford museum and stayed at The Henry. When looking for dinner, we decided we wanted pizza. Looking around the Yelp reviews, it was not an easy search - nothing jumped out. We decided to order from Papa Romano's, and we were glad we did. They delivered right to our hotel room and the pizza was hot and delicious. If you are a guest to the Dearborn area, I would highly recommend this place for your pizza quest. I've never met a bad pizza, but this would never come close to being "bad" as the taste and quality seemed high. I know it is a gamble, but we were not disappointed and the prices were reasonable.
I am mostly familiar with delivery here but I have also swung by for a pickup. They are awesome. Every order I have gotten here has been correct. They listen and get it right. I am often ordering for several people and I have even had to call back and add items to an existing order and they never give me guff. Just yes ma'am and thank you ma'am and what can I do for you ma'am. I love that. They show up on time and are polite. My fave thing here is the Italian style chicken dinner with marinated grilled half chicken plus wedge fries and bambino bread (covered in garlic butter and parm). So much food, you can split it. Really delicious. The pasta salad is great with tri colored rotini and fresh veggies, the Italian dressing wraps it all up well. The lettuce based salads are all good. Again, the veggies are fresh so it is hard to f it up. The steak and cheese sub is tasty with the thinly sliced mushrooms, red onions, seasoned chipped steak and plenty of cheese. I ask for a bit of Italian dressing to drizzle on it and it makes it utter happiness. The pizza is standard and I do not order it much. Definitely one of my fave places to order from at work :).

Ollie’s Lebanese Cuisine

26348 Ford Rd
Dearborn Heights, 48127
Reviews:
I had a craving for Middle-Eastern food and decided to fulfill that craving at Ollie's Lebanese restaurant. By the way, Middle-Eastern/Lebanese cuisine is my second favorite next to Mexican, so I'm quite experienced with great and mediocre food quality. I first experienced Ollie's, the Sterling Heights location, when I worked in the area. So, when they added a location in Dearborn Heights I was ecstatic! The food is wonderful. Whether you are in the mood for a quick grab or a nice sit down meal, they have it. This location has sections for any type of diner. Whether you want an area for the family, a place for a dinner date & watch the game (sectioned off area where they have flat screens), or you just want a quieter area with less customer traffic, there is a comfortable seat for you. I planned to go in for a sit down meal of nothing too major on a Sunday evening. I was starved so I just wanted a few of what I saw as the quickest items on the menu that I love... Chicken Shwarma sandwich and a side order of Rice. But when my wonderful and extremely personable waiter informed me of the day's menu special I just had to have it. The special: 12 oz. NY Strip Steak, grilled seasoned potatoes, garnished with lightly fried crispy onion strings. Cost: $18.99 Result: Extremely Worth It!!! My medium prepared chargrilled NY Strip was well-seasoned, tender, juicy & cooked to perfection. Soooo GREAT! The potatoes were tasty. It came with fresh oven baked bread and MY FAVORITE, GARLIC SAUCE! It also came with soup or salad, I chose the salad. It was a very nice sized Fattous salad. I ate 1/3 and took the remaining home for later. And although the steak was so very very good that I wanted to finish it, I just couldn't. I could only eat half of it. But I have to be honest couldn't wait for my food to digest just so I could finish my deliciously awesome steak... Lol! With all that said, I highly recommend Ollie's! And I also recommend you listen to the specials when the waiter presents you with the menu. I did, and I was fully satisfied as a result. HAPPY EATING YELPERS!
Excellent food, wonderful service, great experience everytime! Best crushed lentil around. Great staff! They even tightly plastic wrap to go soup to prevent spillage. Must try for amazing food, you'll keep going back!
Best middle eastern food in the city for sure. Great deboned chicken. The most tender beef kabobs I've ever had. Pretty good lamb chops. Great humous. A bit pricey compared to other restaurants but if you really wanna save money then eat at home. Last time I went the server we had must have misread the instructions and accidentally injected himself with steroids transcranially because he got zero things right but he was young and on steroids so we were ok with him because of the medical condition and tipped him well. I do sometimes sit quietly outside in my yard and worry about the young man. They need to work on their consistency. This is my fair warning to the managers... if you EVER AGAIN sell me reheated chicken that tastes like microwaved shoe leather I will give you a one star. I miss the old la shish!! I hope Obama gives him a presidential pardon because we as Americans are needlessly suffering with poor quality Mediterranean food. The humanity!

Cariera’s Restaurant

Reviews:
I never give five stars, but this time I will. From the start, the host was extremely polite, considerate and a real gentleman. I think it's a good sign when a small Italian restaurant has male waiters over 40. They know what they're doing and they really engage with the customer. This is the type of wait staff you will find here. I was also impressed with the solo musician performing live music. Great selection of music, impressive set up. I loved the interior, especially the light fixtures. I loved the wedding pictures by the bar area too. I wanted to get up on a chair and look at all of them up close. Nice wood flooring too. Finally, the food. It was amazing. Really. We had mussels in garlic butter/white wine sauce and it was fantastic. The bread we dipped into the sauce was also wonderful. Then we had artichoke/spinach pizza and then rigatoni in vodka sauce with grilled shrimp, and o. m. g. I just don't have the words!! Perfection. That is all I can say. I am going to start recommending this place to all of my friends. Definitely go here if you haven't already.
Great food and great service! I've only been to Cariera's twice, but both times the food was delicious. This last time, my mom and I both had lasagna. The portions are big, so we both only ate half of our servings. The waitstaff is very attentive and professional. As soon as we were finished with a dish, they swept it away quickly. Our leftovers were boxed quickly and our water glasses were always full. Cariera's has a real family atmosphere. I love local places that take pride in their food and care about their customers. I'll definitely be back...maybe for Holy Cannoli day!
Can't wait to go back. My husband and I loved this place. We have already planned a date with our best friends. We love pizza and so we really should try theirs...but it will be hard to not order pasta. It is so wonderful there.

The manager and the baristas are the best in the area! Always so welcoming and friendly. Let's not forget about the drinks! Absolutely delicious, every single time. Theyre willing to do everything they can to get my order right, the best Biggby!
Great coffee. Friendly service. Decent price. Nice clean. Great atmosphere. The only problem is keeping my wife from spending her whole check there.
I was in a caffeine crunch and needed some coffee. Well, I remembered that there was a new Biggby on Ford Road, so I decided to try it out!!! It was raining and cold, brrrrr, one of those mornings that you wish you could've stayed nice and warm under your covers - or whereever you were sleeping at!!!! I remember that when I was in San Francisco I tried the Pumpkin Latte and loved, loved, loved it. So, I go into Biggby and almost trip over the mat - it was propped up against the door - hmmmmmm! Oh well, as I stumble in I see two areas - one for ordering and one for pick-up! Luckily I was familiar with this since my trip from San Francisco!!! So, I go up to the order counter and say I will have a medium pumpkin latte with fat-free milk! I pay for it - a little pricey, but I know the quality is going to be out of this world! So, I am standing in the line to pick up my pumpkin latte from the barrista and in comes a patron and stumbles in the same way I did! So, I say gee someone is going to trip over that. So, I go into action and straighten the floor rug mat so it is not propped up against the door! Now remember -- it is raining outside. So, in comes a patron and slips on the 2 inches of marble or granite floor - it's slippery. Me, I just shut up and look away. While I am waiting for my skim-milk pumpkin latte the barrista yells out you don't want whipped cream on your latte do you? I look at him and say of course I do!!!!! I saved all the fat from the skim-milk for the whipped cream portion. How dare he even think I don't want that yummy whipped cream! So, I take my skim-milk pumpkin latte with whipped cream and head to my car. I sit down, buckle my seat belt, and pick up that beautiful Biggby cup and put it to my lips and sip on that sweet caffeine pumpkin latte and I think, life is good!

Mr. Chicken

6000 N Telegraph Rd
Dearborn Heights, 48127
Reviews:
Meaty and crispy, just really excellent chicken. They have ribs, shrimp and fish but seriously, just go for the specialty of the house, the chicken. This is broasted chicken at its finest with good flavor. Deliciously juicy and crunchy without all the grease of frying. Sides run decent to good but the star of the show is hot, perfectly seared golden chicken. We did half and half, half fries and half broasted potatoes. We were fairly evenly divided on which was the superior option. I will vote for the broasted potatoes myself. The cole slaw was loved by my dad and mom and I thought it was nice-ish enough I guess...but ummm pass me more chicken instead please. You cannot go wrong with a bucket of this stuff. Not too spendy at all, you can get a 12 piece bucket with the works for under 20 bucks. Not bad for four people. More hungry? A 16 piece will set you back around 24 smackeroos to go. I will tell you eating in seems a very appealing option after travelling home smelling the deliciousness. I wanted to pull the car over and dive in. Your belly will thank you even if your arteries are clogged after.
The name and the sign says it all. Chicken don't get any better than this. Been going to this spot since I was a little kid in the 70s.
I used to live closer to Mr.Chicken when I was a kid. Ever since than it is my favorite place to get take out. Though I don't live extremely far it's far enough to where I don't have it more than Once a year or so. The Broasted/ Fried Chicken doesn't get any better than this. The only place to get Fried Chicken near me are not nearly as satisfying as Mr. Chicken. Of coarse KFC is disgusting and Lee's is just okay. Mr. Chicken is Superior too any Fried Chicken I have ever had. The Fried Chicken is definitely the star of the show and you will want more. I am very picky about Cole Slaw and I always think of Mr. Chicken's Cole Slaw being one of the best. We have always gotten an order of Half Broasted Potatoes and Half fries. The fries are a treat for sure. There are none like the fries you can get at Mr. Chicken. The Broasted Potatoes are pretty yummy as well. You will love your meal, the only thing not liking Mr. Chicken would be your arteries. This place is great and I would say it is the best Fried Chicken I have ever had.

Very nice bakery to say the least, I go there quite often and the place is always clean, and the staff and service has always been great. Their food is delicious and always fresh,Definetly recommend giving them a try, you wouldn't be disappointed.
Found glass and in the prepackaged Baklava. Luckily it didn't cut me and what I swallowed didn't seem to hurt me. wrote them through the website. No response .
This is a nice place to dine in or to take out. When you walk in, you see these awesome looking dessert pastries in their case which look so inviting yet decadent. It has a cafeteria like set up where you place your order. It has a large drink cooler with a really wide selection of drinks to choose from. Then, it has a nice area to sit down at with family style booths. The staff are friendly enough to answer any questions you might have and willing to provide you with samples to help you make up your mind. Then, there is the food. This time I got the chicken shawarma sandwich. Some places have dry meat in the sandwich, but not this place. It had nice moist chicken. It was nicely seasoned and had slightly spicy pickle slices in it. The spice level of the seasoning wasn't under powering nor over powering, and in fact it had a nice bit of taste flair to it. In other words, this sandwich had flavor. The spinach pies might have been a bit too thick with the pastry, but the spinach filling was awesome. It had a really good level of spice to it. And the rice pilaf was a really nice base to the meal. Overall, I would say that this place knows how to make the star ingredient of their dishes shine.

LOVE the way they make drinks!!!! Another favorite location of mine. And they're never sold out of croissants around afternoon like other locations tend to be by about 12. Friendly staff, and a very clean/tidy store. Will always come back to this Starbucks location!
I've updated my opinion. I like this location, a lot. I see them cleaning the floor every time I visit. My drink is always made to perfection, and most of the staff is pretty friendly. Still, the parking is horrible but nothing can be done about that.
Always great service! if you don't like your drink, or make it wrong they will remake it for you. Great place to hangout in the front and nice quiet back place to study.
