Do not go. I came here for a quick dinner and well we had no service. Our poor waiter seemed to be the only one working while the others were chatting with their friends. The waiter was nice enough to bring us a pitcher of water but the pitcher was dirt. The whole place seem dirty. Got up and left without ordering anything.

The restrooms were gross. There was actually scum floating on the water in the urinals. The main hostess is loud and obnoxious. The service was passable. The water was the only thing on the menu that wasn't heavily salted. Between the prime rib Philly and the French onion soup I got my monthly intake of salt. The salad had eggs that tasted horrible and even the saltines didn't taste normal even though they had been in a package. The motto seems to be that more makes up for bad.

My husband and I always stop here on our way back to Illinois. We love the fact that there are food options from almost any cuisine that you would like (Greek, Chinese, Breakfast, American, Healthy, Soups/Salads, Mexican) Most of the meals ordered were very good however they seem to miss on the American food. Burger and steak were overdone even after asking how you would like it cooked. Other meals have been wonderful. Good stop if you're getting on/off the highway. Prices are low.

We didn't want breakfast from a chain restaurant, so we picked this place. I liked my Greek Scrambler: scrambled eggs augmented with gyros meat, onion & tomato. It was supposed to be two eggs but seemed HUGE. I decided not to finish all of it so that I would not feel sluggish. The hash browns were like super-chunky mashed potatoes. Mmm! Whole wheat toast with butter was nice and crispy, not mushy. My friend went for the biscuits & gravy breakfast. We got plenty of attention from our waiter and a woman who seemed to be the owner. The restroom was clean enough, I guess. But I like to see a remarkably spotless restroom in a restaurant, because it gives me hope that the kitchen is equally clean. The toilet seat was loose in the ladies' room, which would not be safe for a handicapped or elderly person. This is a one-seater rest room, so this is a big faux pas. Besides, only one stall for a ladies' room in a restaurant this size? I can't imagine waiting in line when the place is really, really busy. If it ever gets busy. This is a small town, so word would get around.

Been eating here for over 20 years. Stopped in 11:30 this morn. Only a few other customers. Seated right away. Waited for 5 minutes plus. No offer of service. Employees standing and sitting but no one even interested in myself and wife. Bye, bye. No need for apology. There are other restaurants that value customers.

Ordered a steak and egg combo and wasn't even sure the steak was beef. Very thin and nasty flavor. Don't recommend this place.

If negative stars were possible, I would use them. In short, an hour and forty five minutes for lunch, a server with three words in the vocabulary "Sorry" and "I apologize" and a belly full of intestinal distress two hours later...all from an innocuous BLT sandwich(mayo contamination??). Truly fellow yelpers, this place must be avoided. I went in a group of four for lunch. Twenty minutes after being seated our harried and apologetic server arrived on the dining scene to take our orders. For brevity I will focus on two (no, not the BLT): the gyro sandwich and the halibut senior menu platter. My 90 year old companion across the table could not bite through the meat in the gyros due to its leathery nature. A dishwasher spotted dull knife aided her in this pursuit. The pita bread was so desiccated she needed to dunk it in her tea to aid mastication. Next to me I observed the shriveled greasy halibut. Poor fish, I thought. It seemed drowned in grill oil then covered with indeterminate spices. On the same plate rested canned veggies and a baked potato, the saving grace being the packaged sour cream squeeze tube laying on the plate. Other yelpers hit it on the head: a large menu executed with little culinary skill. To boot, the place was packed with slurped and swallowers of huge dimensionality. This is, after all rural Michigan where eating out means not ripping open a bag and tossing it into the wave. Now onto the worst: both bathrooms (from a reliable source since I did not enter both) required a visa into the third world. You want smelly and dirty? You got it. Steer clear folks and don't be bamboozled by the sticky greasy crusted laminated huge menu. I'm surprised the place continues to continue.

Nice mom and pop restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was alright. Worth the stop on a road trip.

Great selection of food. I had the ribs and my wife had taco salad. The ribs were good and had plenty of sauce. The portions seemed big we had plenty. The appearance of the building is a little dated. If the outside was updated I believe they would hold their own against the big chain restaurants. Just clean it up guys.
