My family and I came in here tonight. We were seated by the Manager Otto. He asked if my wife wanted anything to drink while I used the restroom (which I've seen and smelled cleaner bathrooms in downtown Detroit gas stations). I managed to leave the bathroom feeling dirtier than when I first got there. Which to anyone who knows me can vouch for my cleanliness OCD. So, I finally make it back to our table without any water and a slightly fussy child. I sat there for a while and asked my wife if she had ordered, she said nobody has came by to give an order to. By that time my son was chanting cookie and French fries (he's 20 months old). He started to throw crayons, and reach for the knives! We had been there a good 20mins before the wife decided it was time for a managers intervention. In short we are still waiting for our food that we placed the order on around 7pm and the manager who just so happened to be Otto, has said he would discount one of our meals. I've been going to Big boys ever since I can remember. This place does the brand no justice what so ever.

What happen to Big Boy, nothing we ordered was fresh. I had the ruben sandwich, with the meat so tough you couldn't eat it, the onion rings, were the frozen to frier kind as so were the fries. The staff was friendly but slow.

The manager? (Blue shirt raspy voice) is very RUDE & LOUD!!! The restroom and dinning area was absolutely filthy!! The employees looked as if they'd just crawled out of bed and pulled their clothes out of the dirty clothes hamper. Our server was Jerryann, there seems to be a few issues among employees as they all seem to be fighting amongst each other. Gail is the only server that smiles or even looks professional. I ate my entire burger and fries and was never checked on or offered a refill. When she did come to take the empty basket I was asked if I wanted ice cream or pie and response was I'd like a refill 1st. Overall experience the best part of it was the fries were hot and fresh. If I could I'd give it 1/2 star!!

Pretty disappointed tonight. We were seated and after about 18 minutes where no one acknowledged us at all, I got up to speak to the manager. Our order was finally taken after that and when we got our food the spaghetti wasn't cooked long enough. We generally like Big Boy but this visit was very discouraging. They did discount our food but I almost feel like that wasn't enough.

Friendly service. I had the chili, and well, to be honest, I've had better chili on hotdogs. Yeah, I won't make that mistake again. My husband and brother-in-law were happy that you could order a "Big Boy" "Ohio style" with what is apparently the old white sauce as opposed to a red sauce. Either way, the sauce seemed skimpy to me. The location was small, the service was friendly, and I guess, if you're a fan of The Big Boy, then it'd be alright.

Overpriced buffet. Dirty floors. Salt stuck in shaker. Dirty window sills. Salads out of a container. Soups under seasoned. The service was ok. Nothing else was enjoyable at this big boy.

Stopped into Coldwater on a Saturday night to find that many places had closed after 10pm. The Big Boy was open until 11pm, so we stopped in and had their salad bar. The staff was very friendly and accommodating of a large crowd that stopped in at 10:55pm, and they kept the salad bar stocked until after close.

My husband stop by on a Saturday afternoon, We bith had the chicken dinner, Well , the chicken was over cooked ( dried ) Crust was very hard,mashed potatoes had a crust on that seem like it was sitting to long with brown gravy that tasted like it came out of a can. Servive was just O.K. The first time we a spagetti dinner which tasted between sloppy joe & spagetti sauce. We thought we would try it again with hope that it was just a bad day , that is why we went to get the chicken dinner. As of now that was the last time we will go in there. Maybe we can find a Popeyes chicken place out that way. An d I don't think they should be sweeping while people are eating. most places use a carpet sweeper which doesn't spread the duast into the air.

Smallest big boy I've been in. More of a Diner type feel to it. Not bad food though. Enjoyed the experience with my family, and nice to have a big boy sandwich for the first time in a loooong time. Not what I expected of a Big Boy, but I would go back.
