Worst food ever!!! How do you screw up diner food?? We ordered breakfast, only one other couple and it took forever just to get coffee. The food was bland. I would never go back. Too bad since this is close to home.

Bad experience. Just took my kids and nephew there. Sat in large booth. Table was smudged with dirty food. Ins of flies swarming around ceiling fan a few booths up. Brought me the wrong salad ordered and acted like it was my fault. Never came back to see if we needed anything. Very rude and dirty....wondering how clean the kitchen is. Used to have decent experiences here but lately it's been getting worse. Today sealed the deal. We will never return.

We went here for a high school volleyball fundraiser...loved that they did that for the kids!! The building does not stand out and the sign is barely visible... look super close for this place or you'll drive right passed it twice like we did!! Service was a little slow, but there were a lot of kids working the fundraiser so this was not an issue for us at all.. For seating, they have a small counter with a couple of stools, booths on the parameter, and tables in the center of the dining room. My boyfriend ordered a coney dog and chili cheese fries - he wasn't excited about his meal, he said it was fine, but has had better... I ordered a small greek salad and a gyro with fries on the side.. Portions were large, I didn't eat half of the entire meal. The salad was really good - fresh veggies, flavorful greek dressing, generous with the feta..the salad came with warm, soft pita bread on the side - very good, I might add..I love a good gyro, but did not get one here :( the sauce tasted similar just plain yogurt and the lamb was bland and so boring, I think I yawned.. The french fries were good, but as we were leaving, I noticed they had two baskets of cooked fries setting out hovering over the oil - my thought was, I hope they aren't waiting to re-fry those!! Why would they be left in the basket? Throw them out!! My boyfriends daughter ordered a fried egg sandwich and loved it.. They have an ice cream case with about 10 selections to choose from, but be careful... they aren't all fresh.. I may give them another chance, maybe breakfast is their specialty..

This is one of the best places around for a coney dog. Burgers are pretty good. Great service--we love the staff. All around Pete's offers a great diner experience.

Came with a friend awhile ago for breakfast. First thing I noticed was that this place was hoppin' with locals - apparently they like it. Very cheap breakfast - something I can definitely appreciate. Friend says they always get the huge,deep-fried cinnamon roll when she and her friends come, and split it amongst them, which is delicious. Service was quite good. Other than that, not horribly blown away - but it's a coney, and there are zillions of them littered about the state. If you're in the area and need breakfast or a quick cheap Coney bite - I'd look here over others.

This is my favorite coney island in the area. Everyone is very friendly and the service is super fast. It's priced right and has a large selection available on the menu. I find myself there multiple times a week either meeting a client, friend or just want to get a great breakfast or a few dogs. I like places that remember who I am and what I like to order....Pete's is the place to be.
