Apparently, I got the pulled pork tacos last year, but I didn't remember what I ordered until I saw my own Yelp review! Funny. This year, I got BBQ ribs. The half order was really too big for me, but that's my own fault. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, and I like their BBQ sauce a lot. I tend to like Carolina sauce, but this tomato-based one was really delicious! The mac n' cheese was really tasty - big curly noodles - and the potato salad is still waiting in my refrigerator to be finished. The bite I had was really good, but I was just too full to finish it all! Next time, I'll share a half order of ribs with a friend.

I stopped by the Pigs Eatin' Ribs food truck at The Little Fleet while camping in Traverse City. I got the brisket sandwich and my boyfriend got the pulled pork tacos. The brisket was very tender and juicy, but it just didn't really have much flavor. It wasn't smoky at all and the sandwich really needed a pop of something. It had some mustard sauce and a few shreds of Gouda, but it really lacked the flavor I am looking for with BBQ. The brioche bun it came on was also kind of big and seemed to suck the flavor out and overpowered the sandwich. The pulled pork tacos were a bit better, but they still could have used some spice or sauce. Overall, this is definitely not the best BBQ I've ever had, but it was decent for a first meal after eating camp food all weekend!

Stopped by the physical location today. Had brisket, pulled pork, and sausage sandwiches. Brisket and sausage were A+... Pulled pork maybe a B+. Homemade chips were great as were the buns. We have eaten BBQ in all the hotspots (Austin/ Lockhart, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, even Detroit) . This is real deal, offset smoker BBQ. Way better than the gas fired Southern Pride stuff most places call authentic. They were out of ribs but that is how it works.. One of the best known places in Austin runs out of food by 11am almost every day. Give them a try.

Pigs eatin ribs please stay at the little fleet and get out of the catering business. You are a sham with your promises of a on site food truck and quality services. You must be using dial up internet still because you never seem answer your emails. Phone calls are rarely returned either. Anybody that is considering using this company for catering purposes be aware DO NOT brag to your guests about the cool unique food truck that will be at the event, because you will look like an ass when it doesn't show up. We made that mistake and our jaws dropped when a Saturn Vue showed up with our not so fresh food packed in the back. They were also nice enough not to provide enough food for the event either leaving the brides mother, maid of honor, groom, grooms father, and best man starving because we decided not eat. Everyone else was able to at least get a taste of the mediocre BBQ. This company is best suited at the little fleet because the owners lack the mental capacity to branch out into the more complex business of catering.

Food is above average. I have sampled most of the menu. Only problem is that it has taken me many trips to do so. They are always our of at least 3-5 items on menu? Wtf?

I am giving you four stars. My wife would likely have given you three stars. I had the ribs, and a summer tomato salad thing and we had some corn chowder like soup. My wife had pulled pork tacos. My ribs were good, they weren't great, keep in mind I am normally eating BBQ in Texas, so I am judging this BBQ on a different level than others might. Big huge issue for me on the ribs, they didn't cut them, so I wasn't able to eat rib after rib, I had to cut them, with a plastic knife. Seriously, own your craft, be proud of your work, slice them bad boys up for the customer before serving them, EVERY place in Texas does this. The next thing is, seasoning. The chowder needed salt, everyone at the table agreed, including myself, and I RARELY salt anything. The summer cucumber salad thing, this was actually AMAZING. The balsamic and other seasonings for the salad were spot on, I just wish I had more of it. The pulled pork, my wife felt was lacking flavor. As someone who does pork shoulder a few times a year for many years, I know it can be hard to get good flavor in there, I brine mine. And I believe in letting folks sauce their own meat, that way they get the ratio they are looking for, so I feel your presentation of pulled pork was fine, but yeah working some flavor into the meat would be good, whether this is smoking it a little bit longer (trying different wood) or changing up how you prep before the smoking, that would be worth a shot, I see some others stating that they found a lack of flavor in the pulled pork. If it had not been a bit rainy, I think the picnic setup is perfect, I love BBQ eaten in a sort of outdoor setting. I would totally eat here again (or at any place their BBQ bus is at), but it would likely take some convincing to have my wife to join me.

Sought something that is different, quick and close by my accommodations. Found it! I settled on the Monday special, which was a rib tip Gyro sandwich. It was very tasty. The home made chips were good, too! They had some barbecue seasoning that was subdued, which is up my alley, rather than fiery salt. I'm planning on returning, probably buying a plate so I can try some meat with 3 sides. Liked the value though it's primarily "to go". There are some pick nick tables on the property.

I am reviewing this as a vegetarian. The name is a pretty good indication of the amount of vegetarian options. My dad really likes to eat here and sometimes I'm with him. I used to get the mac and cheese, but then I was told it has chicken (fat?) in it, so I moved onto salads. The house salad has a lot of good stuff on it, mostly cornbread croutons, but the lettuces they use are really bitter. The smoked tomato ranch dressing is my favorite.

First time to stop here and it won't be our last. Very good beef brisket pita sandwich with slaw and yummy spicy chips. Brisket was ultra tender but there was too much fat left on the brisket to get a five star. I like it juicy but this fat was too much. Very friendly and fast service considering it was the lunch hour.

This is a food truck, it lives in a mini-bus which is painted black. They are sometimes parked at the Dhaseleer events barn during concerts. See the website for more info. I only tried the dessert, it was a pb pie. Huge portion, super-duper rich. It was so hot outside, I could only eat like 3 bites. I enjoyed it at home the next day though. I saw lots of folks eating the pulled pork sandwiches, and pulled pork or shredded chicken tacos. The atmosphere seemed generally favorable to the food.

If you want good BBQ in the north county, this is it. Whether from their food truck, their home-base restaurant, or catering. I've had and loved it all! I recently had Pigs Eatin' Ribs cater my wedding and they were stellar. They accommodated all of my dietary needs without question or hesitation, sourced all their ingredients as locally as possible and their service staff are definitely pros! My favorite part, though, was the tasting at the beginning of the process. Chef Adam sat down with us and talked to us about all the food and sauces, and his cooking processes. THOSE SAUCES THO. This guy has some serious, delicious passion. Adam & Jill have got a great thing going here. They're the type of people I'd want to be friends with - they also happen to make REALLY good food.

We stopped here for an early dinner on a Saturday night while staying out at Fishermans Island. We've passed this place a hundred times and had never stopped. We pulled in about 4:30 and the first thing we found out is they didn't have any pulled pork (and pulled pork is in a lot of their menu items). I was planning on getting a pulled pork sandwich, so I was kind of bummed. I ended up getting a pulled chicken sandwich and I did not like it at all. It seemed like it was chicken cutlets instead of pulled chicken and it was extremely dry. The sauce and the bun was really good. I am giving this place 4 stars because the meals that everyone else in my party got were awesome. The smoked fish tacos were the bomb. The pig marbles (pulled pork, potatoes and cheese deep fried) were amazing. The Mac and cheese and cornbread were also really, really good.

Tremendous BBQ in Northern Michigan! Stopped by the cool food truck venue in Traverse City called 'The Little Fleet'. The Little Fleet is basically an open air bar with room for 6-8 food trucks. So you get your beverages at the bar, and food from any of the food trucks. I decided to try the pulled pork sandwich from Pigs Eatin' Ribs and also their chicken tacos and apple/cabbage slaw. The pork was incredibly juicy and tender, with a proper amount of smoke. The sauce was more sweet than spicy, but you can add on supplement with available hot sauces as needed. The bun was super fresh, and soft and it was the right amount of bread to meat. The sandwich is just the bread and meat with a few pickles. Nothing else needed, simple, but great! My wife had the chicken tacos with slaw. The tacos were made with smoked chicken and had a pretty good spiciness level. Just as the pork, the chicken was super tender and well cooked. The vinegar based slaw was a nice condiment to the richness of the BBQ. I believe my bill was around $18 for those selections, and the only reason for 4 stars over 5 is that I found the portion size to be a little small. However, I would go back in a heartbeat!

This was a pretty bad excuse for BBQ. The place is a cute, eat outside, picnic tables only kind of place and the service was good. Unfortunately, those are the only high points. I ordered the barbecue pork tacos which lacked any sort of flavor. The coleslaw on top of the tacos was fresh and good, however it is served with a side of plain, flour tortilla chips - no salt on the chips and no salsa. We also ordered a homemade sausage sandwich, literally just sliced sausage on a brioche bun with a smattering of barbecue sauce - completely underwhelming. My husband had ordered the ribs, which were sold out at 5:30 on a Friday night. They talked him into trying the rib tips, which were disgusting. The rib sauce was okay but the rib tips were just one large chunk of charcoaled gristle. He also had the smoked chicken wings, which like all the other meats we had lacked any distinguishable smoked flavor, and were overcooked and dried out. They do serve Moomers ice cream from Travese City, and some local sodas, which are delicious. And the peanut butter pie was excellent.

Tasty food, decent prices. I paid approx. 14 dollars for the brisket sandwich ( which came with a pickle wedge and house-made chips) and the "Pig Marbles." The pig marbles were the highlight of the meal, actually. Very similar to the "Armadillo Eggs" you can get at Red Mesa. Deep fried balls of mashed potatoes with pork, cheese & seasonings inside. The sandwich was quite good, but sadly there were several pieces of pure grizzle that I had to pick out. All in all, I will be eating there again in the future. They have many other options I'd like to try!

They catered for our big event and did a fantastic job! They were very accommodating about creating a menu for us. The service was amazing and friendly. The food was great and their food truck option is also wonderful.

I've been to their physical location (they also have a food truck) twice. Both times were good. The ribs were good - not great - but good. Brisket was very good, pulled pork was fine. As for sides the mac n cheese is a bit weak to me, but the baked beans were amazing. Slaw and cornbread were both ok. Overall I would recommend when you need to get your BBQ fix! As an ambiance note - they just have a storefront, there are a few benches outdoors to sit on, but you're literally in between two busy roads, so may be best to take with you somewhere else.

I worked with them to cater a party, and they were fantastic to deal with. The food was great too, and the price can't be beat. The pulled pork, brisket, and beans were the crowd favorites.
