If you are looking for a small mom and pop Restaurant for breakfast then this might be the place. I have eaten here many times and have always been happy with the place. Its a small place and you may have to set at the counter as there are only a few tables. The largest table has the usual group of regulars and they come and go, but the table is always occupied. The food is fresh and the coffee is good and I was say the food is your standard diner fare, nothing fancy and nothing to unusual.

We love going to Judy's. The owners are friendly and always make us "down state-rs" feel welcome. They are open for breakfast and lunch. The food is fresh and home cooked. Great breakfasts, reasonably priced. I love their chicken taco salad as well. They have daily promotions..free dessert day, all you can eat pancake and sausage day, Monday madness where everything on the menu is $5.00. One thing to note, they do not accept credit cards.

We've vacationed in Charlevoix, and Judy's is clean, friendly, and a top ranking local cafe!! Great Value for the $ spent.

Horrible!!!! My husband ordered pancakes and they were over cooked, and had no flavor. My omelet was over cooked and also had no flavor, very disappointing.

Awesome service and food! Made my special order hash browns with any veggies she had on hand to accommodate vegan lifestyle and the oatmeal was great too! Owner also gave us very good suggestions of things to do in the area ~ we did them all!

This is a tiny, hometown place with a limited menu of pretty basic offerings. Very friendly, attentive staff and obviously a place where the locals hang out. If you want to avoid the touristy places on the Main Street, this is a good choice.

Great service and great food! We noticed a "no outside food or beverage" sign in the window so we sat outside, finished our coffees and waited for the rest of our party to meet us there. The waitress came outside and told us we could come inside and wait with our coffees. The food was great, made when we ordered, and reasonably priced. We had breakfast - French toast, egg cheese and bacon breakfast croissant, corned beef hash, and a southern skillet. Almost all our plates were empty when we left. We will definitely be going back next time we visit!

Very small, cute home town diner. Had a party of 7 and we walk in and both waitress' were hanging out and mingling with a couple that was already there. We sit down and talk with the waitress about just everything. Very friendly ladies. I ordered the piglet omelette because that's what I am lol. But it was very good and very very filling. I know my fiancé got the Olive Oil Omelette she said it was very good and filling as well but they went a little too heavy on the spinach. Everyone else at the table agreed it was really good and obviously filling. I saw a lot of plates with leftovers just from the sheer size of the servings. I give it a 4/5 and I would reccomend everyone go or give it a try. Maybe the people who have it lower stars just happened to go in on an off day but every time I have been I have always left feeling satisfied.

Used to come here at least twice during our summer trips to Charlevoix. My daughter was spoiled with juice from monkey/moose cups with crazy straws, decent pancakes, biscuits and gravy from GFS but still pretty good. Prices are decent too. The ambiance is very much a "townie" place.....didn't see a lot of vacationers, mainly locals, which is typically a good sign. The ladies who own the joint were always very nice and I remember one of them saying they grew up in Warren or Royal Oak or something. At any rate, last time we were there, we had the worst service imaginable and they MADE SURE to make us feel SO UNWELCOME as to never return......rest assured, we wont. My son was 3 at the time and a complete asshole. He wasn't bothering anybody or throwing stuff, etc. he was just being whiny and irritable. After trying a few different techniques to try to keep his shit together, my wife offered to just take him out of there and the two of them would go get a bagel while my 8 yr old daughter (VERY well behaved) and I would stay for breakfast. Not only did I just get the shittiest looks from these ladies and the staff, they made us wait well over an hour for our food. EVERYONE who came after us had eaten and LEFT by the time we got our food. They became hateful and mean. It was the Sunday after the Venetian parade so it seemed everybody working there was hungover but they really didn't need to be vindictive. I mean.....I 86'd my kid, I got him out of there so I wouldn't piss anyone off. It seems it was a futile effort with these vengeful twats. Also, they refuse to accept credit cards....that's always fun. I am never going back.

Went here for breakfast during a weekend trip to Charlevoix and it satisfied. The place is small (only about 5 tables and a counter) and it isn't the quickest service I have ever had (there was only 1 waitress and 1 cook), but we had a good breakfast for a reasonable price. They accept credit cards now!

Great place for breakfast! They serve the crispiest hash browns and I like my poached eggs soft and they were perfect. Old fashioned counter and just a few tables. I observed the waitress bringing three kids coloring books and crayons while she deftly took orders all at once. Good little place.
