Perfect bar food / nice atmosphere / prices right on the money / food excellent. We came here because of yelp reviews and were not disappointed.
Great food from a local place. Tables far enough apart so its not crowded. Free meal on your birthday.
Visiting the Brooklyn/Jackson area again and stopped in for dinner, 4 adults and 4 kids on Martini night again. Still $2.99 martinis! Again great wait staff- good teamwork and good food. I had fish and chips and they were as good as any in the area. Kids were happy, adults were happy with their burgers. Still a great area option.

Best grilled cheese sandwich and chicken fingers in Michigan. Came here 2 years in a row after Tough Mudder, WORTH IT!!!
WAS a nice place. Took the family here last week for breakfast and no one offered to seat the six of us while we stood at the door and "waited to be seated." Customers around us shrugged their shoulders as we waited awkwardly for a table as staff milled about the 1/2 full place. So we gathered up and left to go back to a better place, POPPAS. I wish Harold well with his fabulous wait and hostess staff. My party of six will never be back.
Great place. Stopped in for a beer with a buddy. Great service and friendly bartender! They have Bud Light, Blue Moon, and White Hatter on tap.

Jerry’s Pub

I love a good dive bar, and this place fits the bill! If you frequent the Irish Hills area, you know that there are not many choices to stop for a bite and a brew, but this place has great location (on the lake) and fair food and drinks. They had a good selection of beer on tap, and a well stocked bar. Prices seemed a tad high, but not outrageous. My husband ordered a burger and fries. He liked the burger, but said that the fries were really bland. I ordered potato skins. They were almost burnt, but I like that, so they suited me just fine. A man (who I believe was Jerry) kept asking if I wanted ranch or sour cream, and looked at me like I had grown three heads when I declined. Service was a little slow, but not so much that it concerned me. I could tell that the regulars got better service, but that doesn't bother me either. Over all, I really enjoyed the place. I'd come back again.
Over, way over priced. Management rude to paying customers. Appetizers should never be the cost of a meal! Never going back.
I've frequented Jerry's for the last 12 years, so it pains me to write this, but Jerry, you got some work to do... My wife and I live nearby, and she is a member of the local Chamber of Commerce, so I can tell you that the bad service is not limited to out of towners. Our experiences over the past year have been abysmal, sometimes taking up to 2 hours just for a simple meal. The food is OK... basic bar food, don't expect anything else. The drinks are overpriced. Jerry's sole redeeming quality is simply its location on Wampler's lake. Why try when you are the only bar with a big waterfront deck? People go there anyway, and if you want somewhere to get drunk near water, maybe meet some other drunk people, its as good as any. For anything else, I would avoid it.

Aggies Sports Bar

108 S Brooklyn Rd
Brooklyn, 49230
Reviews:
Aggies would have been 4 stars 15 years ago but they really have not put any money in the place and it shows. The decor is worn and the restrooms are in need of an inspection. At the same time prices have been kicked up to where there are better bar food options in Brooklyn or Jackson. Decent burgers although the quality has really slipped over the years. The pizza, once a favorite is not note worthy any longer, the crust does not taste homemade any longer and the cheese isn't very good either. Friendly wait staff who have been there for years help keep them alive. The bar/pool hall side (Average Joe's) is behind the sports bar and you often encounter intoxicated patrons leaving that venue in the parking lot on weekends. If you have kids avoid on Thurs-Sat. I had to walk my son around a vomiting patron in the parking lot on a Friday evening to get to my car. I'm not a doctor but I can tell you this girl didn't have the flu. Nice, huh?

Traveling for work. Great service. Polite staff. Clean Bathrooms!! Good hot crispy french fries. Thank you!!
Not pleasant, morning staff better then evening.
Stopped on to buy a coffee and use restroom. As I walked by tables, every one looked as though the Cookie Monster just left. When I got into the restroom there was water spots and dried soap everywhere, now that all there is is hair dryers in bathroom and no towels it looks like even the patrons can't clean the sink. Nice new building in one horse town, needs new management.
