I'm glad Tapistry is in Bridgman. Completely different vibe from Greenbush, one town over. Beer however, equally good or better. I don't like any of the beers that are straining to be different. Coconut IPA - please keep that out of my mug, but that being said, the IPAs, especially Reactor, are always spot on. Peck's Porter a classic. I've grown quite fond of the ESB, London Bridgman. Too much meat and cheese on the menu for me, but the hummus is a-ok. I'd like to see a few more veg menu options. It would also be cool to have a food truck, such as the Organic Gypsy from Kalamazoo, or a pizza wagon pull up. I know nothing about zoning laws in that area, but feel like Lake Street could support a food truck. I digress.

This is for lunch, and no beer only. I was working in town and can't drink icon lunch. I'd love to come back for a drink though! Food was okay. Had a Reuben with chips. Ordered a side salad as well. Menu lists the salad for $3. Menu also lists I can sub my chips and pickle for $3. She asked if I wanted to sub the salad for the chips...it's the same price as the salad out right as to sub. Give me the chips, salad, and pickle then! Seems silly there's not even a minute discount. Sandwich came quick and is a pretty big sandwich. It comes with their aoli of sorts, missed the Thousand Island flavor. I'll definitely stop back when in town. It looks closed from the outside. Parking is street and a little hectic.

I wanted to take advantage of my furlough days, so I took a ride over to Michigan. Even being a rainy, dreary day, Michigan is great! Doing a little research last night, checking the Michigan Brewers Guild website, I came across Tapistry. Seeing a few reviews on yelp sealed the deal for me, it was going to be my first stop of the afternoon. No regrets, except that I didn't have more time to spend there. I felt like I walked into Cheers. Everyone was friendly and if I had a question, Olivia was there, if not to answer, to at least out me in the right direction. The beers, well, my flight-Beatnik, Bad Moon Horizon, Attrayant, Dubbel Standaard, and Enigma were all spot on. This flight also paired well with the Brewers Board. I will definitely add this to my brewery stop when I bring my Culinary classmates to sample what Michigan is bringing to the Craft Beer Table. Thank you for your hospitality and your delicious beer!

Reactor Coconut IPA, enough said. Unbelievably good. Nice small place, stopped by after leaving Greenbush. Wife got some flights, all solid beers. But the Reactor Coconut was by far the best.

This place is great. Very good beer, food and service. Free wifi. Snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, clean bathrooms and set for sale on the wall. Staff very beer knowledgeable. What's not to like??

Stopped here heading west on I-94 for a late dinner and some drinks, and was pleasantly surprised! The staff were exceptionally friendly, and made the experience that much better. We had four different beers, the Mr. Orange, Hansel, The Hypnotist, and Burn the Witch, all of which were exceptional in their own regard and style. I'm taken aback that I haven't heard of this brewery before because their brews were so good, but have no doubts that I'll be seeing their stuff showing up in Chicago very soon! If you have the time to stop in, I highly recommend it!

Top notch server, clean, fast and delicious. The Peace Train wrap with hummus, artichoke, red onion, feta and a great tangy balsamic dressing was perfect. The Brewhouse salad was just as flavorful with their own house dressing. Exactly what I needed for lunch today.

Beer is 4 star- disappointed in server/ service. Not kid friendly but very chill place for friends to drink & have conversations! No straws, no ice in water & had to ask for my plates. Decided to wrap it up after sharing 2flights & appetizer with wife & friend. Their was no kids menu- we had 4 kids with us & I called asked if it was kid friendly! Kid friendly means kid menu fool! Left to Greenbush Brewing right down the street!

I was recommended to go to this place and it was great. It was clean and welcoming. We had the option to sit outside but had to serve ourselves. It was clean and the beer and food was phenomenal! I highly recommend if you're in the area.

Great rainy day stop. If you are tired of wine tastings and are seeking something different in the area this is a must. Food is great and Western State MI doesn't disappoint with their micro-brew / restaurant stops.

On I-94, starving, and a holiday. We took the next exit and opened the Yelp app. It led us here, Tapistry Brewing. The atmosphere was a little bland and sterile. However, the food and beer were not. I had a savory pulled pork sandwich and a wonderful Belgium style brew. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely be back to try more of the food and drink menu!

Our server was either angry at having to work or simply incompetent. No introduction. Said it was our first visit. No welcome or explanation. Had to insist she stand still and take our food order. Had to ask about a flight of beer. Others walked in and left. Our sandwiches were great. They were served by the cook, who was very friendly. The problem is this: good food and good beer are not that hard to find in our area. It's a sever that can make the place fun and encourage you to return. Sorry, but based on the gal with an arm of tattoos and hair in a headband, we shall not return.

Great service and prices are very reasonable. Bar food people, not sure what other reviewers expect but I found the menu fine. Not just stuffed with fried or heavy food, very respectable. Gourmet chips with the sandwiches and the horseradish pickles were a very nice touch. Split a sandwich and the server unasked delivered on two plates. Our water was in a glass not plastic as reported by others. Did the flight of beers which allowed us to pick from all their beers. Thought 6 for $10 was incredibly reasonable, and all the servers were gracious and friendly. They offer free wifi which I thought was also nice, and for those who want to have a beer and hang out but be in midst of people a good place to come. I'd go back, and appreciate the simple decor and oneness of the place. Had a lovely conversation with some folks seated next to us, so I can see another reviewers reference to cheers. Just what you want...a good cold beer, some decent food and a friendly welcoming vibe. Check, check and check.

I stopped in by myself on my way to Chicago and had a good experience. I can only base my rating on the beer, but from what I saw I would probably not reccomend this place for a big meal or for non-beer drinkers. The food menu seemed serviceable, but snacky- which to me is fine, but apparently some people are offended by that... At any rate, they had quite a selection of taps, and the bartender allowed me to have samples. I had the Gretel dunkelweiss, which I really enjoyed. I also sampled a cherry chocolate brown ale, which was a bit sweet but also great. I'd love to have tried more, but I had to drive! Really the focus here is clearly on the beer. I noticed that water is self-serve in plastic cups, which is convenient for everyone and probably way less wasteful. I had great service at the bar, and definitely would recommend any beer fan to stop in if you're in the area or driving on 94- it was about 2 minutes off the highway.

I had high hopes for Tapistry, but the visit was a let down after all the hype I've heard. I don't drink beer, so I realize I'm not the primary audience. However, the only other beverages available were coffee, soda or water. I went with water, which came in a plastic cup. Classy. The tables have a metal piece inlaid, that seemingly have no other reason for being there than to catch crumbs that don't get cleaned out. The beer cheese, which was also served in plastic (a weird theme?), was mostly flavorless with far too much pita for the amount of cheese. My boyfriend said of his flight, two of the beers were good. He said the rest were watery and lack luster. Overall, Tapistry was not impressive. There is potential for this small brewery, just serious need for proper execution.

On a bus tour (Bartlett's Gourmet Grill, IN sponsored) of distilleries and breweries, we had the great pleasure of enjoying some very good beer at ridiculously cheap prices. Even got a growler to take home with us. Décor was basic - which is the only complaint we heard back on the bus. Otherwise, this place got the "Cheers" award for fine crafted beer and great service. Definitely will go back!

Great find for anyone in west Michigan or those travelling along I-94. My wife and I stopped in on a beautiful afternoon and enjoyed the picnic tables at the back of the taproom. A little stark with the gravel but the new picnic tables and umbrellas made up for it. There were great lunch choices for both adults and our nine-year old daughter. The online menu stands to be updated as it doesn't show the Brie's Way sandwich. This was built with Swiss Marble Rye, turkey breast, spinach, Porter braised caramelized onions, and a strawberry jam, Yum! My daughter loved the Piglet and I really enjoyed the Castro with jalapenos. Beers, ales? I was drawn here after tasting Mr. Orange at Brix in South Haven and was happy with their many other creations. It was too too bad we missed this past weekend's anniversary celebration!

Went to Tapistry for the first time the other day. It's a nice looking place with friendly staff. That being said, we were very disappointed in the beer. Only 8 of the 20 taps had beer on them, which we were told was because they are expanding their distribution. This is totally understandable, but one would assume that the 8 beers they have on are the more popular ones, and we were not impressed. we also ordered the meat and cheese sampler plate, which wasn't bad, but I'm not sure it was worth the $14 price tag. I'd be open to stopping in again, but it will be contingent upon already being in the area / having their beer supply back up to par.

I still stand by my initial review on how Day Shift Donny was a complete tool with how he handled my particular situation and his rude attitude in general to the group I was with. However with that being said I feel it is necessary to change my rating based on the sole fact that Joe the owner actually took the initiative to contact me to rectify things. He didn't have to (not many owners on here would), but he did. Props to you Joe! You have put me one step closer to redeeming my faith in the customer service industry and I thank you.

Nice friendly atmosphere. 1st time I visited a tap room in the great SW Michigan area. Really enjoyed my 2 pints of Mr. Orange. Great sandwich. Had the Brewben. Delicious twist on a reuben sandwich.

Quintessential smalltown brewpub: funky, laid-back taproom in an old brick storefont on the main street. Got there late on a Saturday afternoon, had the place mostly to ourselves. Sampled a dunkelweizen and an orange-flavored wit. Didnt' fall in love with either so next tried the ESB, and while it wasn't 5-star material, it was tasty enough to sell us on a pint. Also tried the Heart full of Napalm double IPA and loved it--flavor much more varied and complex than most other ales I've tried in this style. Would have ordered a pint, but we were about to embark on a 3hr drive and settled for a bomber to go. Before we left, we mooched a sample of the porter and liked it a lot. Would probably get a pint of that if--rather when--we go back.

Tapestry was a great finish to our last vacation day before going home to Chicago. Wisconsin Dip Rocks w/Nathan's Horseradish pickles and Bit Of Swiss bread. Outstanding. Could have used a little more patience with beer explanations --not everyone is 21. But overall- great.

This place has an uncomfortable feel to it- not that the servers are unwelcoming, just the tables (what is the ashtray-like thing in the middle of them?) are odd and it feels pretty sterile. The reason you go to any brewery is the beer and they have a few tasty ones and a number of middling choices. Food wise I think it was just snacks- we had pita bread and hummus. Boring choice by us, boring taste by them. It's not a bad place but I've been here twice and I feel like that might be enough

I was on a tour of SW MI breweries and this was recommended by the bartenders at The Livery as a place that had just opened up a week and a half earlier. We decided to stop by and give it a try, and I am so glad we did. The price for a flight was insanely cheap. Just absolutely nuts. Got six of their beers to try, and I've got to say they were all good, which is quite an accomplishment for a brand new brewery. I especially like the Chocola Java Stout and the Peck's Robust Porter. The setting was a little odd, could definitely use some character, but I guess that will come with time. It just seemed to me a bit like a fast food restaurant or maybe a coffee shop, not like a brewery. Still the beer was so good, who cares?

Best beer variety in area hands down. 20 something rotating beers on tap, my favorite today was the Reactor IPA. Really relaxing/friendly atmosphere with a nice beer garden out back for sunny days. Can't wait to see what this place is doing in a couple years. Almost open for a year now, and off to an awesome start, keep it up!

Stopped by with the family for dinner on our way home to IL. The meal was delicious and they accommodated several special requests. The waitress was top notch in customer service and we loved that they have a kids table with coloring books. Beer was amazing too!!

Another new brewpub in SW MI? Fabulous! My fiance's family is from the area, and I love how every time we go to visit, there's something new in the winery/brewery arena to check out! The beer here is great, grouped and priced per tier based on ABV. We didn't try any of the food, so I can't comment there. Service was great too, we never had empty beers for too long. My one complaint is the decor, I felt like I was in a plain cafeteria, there is literally nothing on the walls. There needs to be a little more character to the place! Also, some carpet on the ceilings would help, it was way too loud for there only being about 2 dozen people in the place... With a little work, this place definitely has potential.

Had heard good things about this place from friends and decided to stop by for lunch on a recent weekend. I'm not much of a beer fan and so went with a really nice pale ale made with local hops ( Hoppanacci) and my husband had the Lupulin Love. We both had the spicy hummus and pita appetizer and then I had a pulled pork sandwich and he had some italian style sandwich. Both were just what we needed to accompany the beer. People have commented on the "decor" and there really isn't much to be said about it except that there is an area with a big screen tv that has some comfy looking couches. We sat at the bar and that was fine; the servers were friendly and the one bartender loved doing this goofy robot dance regardless of what music was playing. Cost per person for a great pint, appetizer, and sandwich including tax and tip was about $18 each. We'll definitely go back.

Ok don't listen to Leah 's review she clearly has no business leaving one....I went there today and I have to say that I was very impressed. ..The service was great and the staff was very nice....All the beers I had were excellent. ...The food was decent but it's not like they were trying to outdo themselves. ...I would suggest this place to anyone because as they get older I'm sure the beer will only improve.

Really good beers, and lots of beer choices. And, the snack plates, with local meats and cheeses are excellent. But, not much character or style in the taproom and uneven service. Bare walls, bland music and odd tables and chairs. They're just starting, so my fingers are crossed for them. But, competition (Greenbush, Round Barn, Livery) in this area is really good, so they need to have an A game.

Went early on a saturday afternoon with a group of four. We all tried the porter, bitter, and sun haze, and found all of them to be rather disappointing with the porter being the best of the three. The sandwiches were a complete letdown. The turkey gouda was dry and greasy at the same time, the salami was swimming with fat that we were able to squeeze from the sandwich and the pulled pork was dry and crunchy like it had sat in the crockpot for a couple of days after it had been blended with a bottled bbq sauce. At $9 a sandwich, one should be able to safely expect fresh and steaming food. Grocery store potato chips are served with all sandwiches. The one shining note is the cashew curry humus that they get from the kalamazoo co-op. But get it to go and make a run to one of the other local breweries for the beer.

Went here with a good buddy of a mine and had a great experience. I ordered a flight which cost $8. The great thing about the flight is that you can choose any five beers. I had revolver, vanilla porter, enigma (double ipa), chocolate java stout, and sixteen tons (barley wine). Overall, the ambience was quaint and the staff was very nice. I don't judge a brewery by this, I judge it by the beers. The beers were excellent. Revolver / enigma- good. Barley wine / porter / chocolate java stout- outstanding. I will definitely be back. Nice job in only 4 months.

We stopped in for the first time on a recent Sunday afternoon and grabbed a couple seats at the bar. As we normally do when we are checking out a new brewery, we ordered a flight. The flight was $10 for 5 beers and you could select from any of the three tiers. We were impressed with all that we sampled. I have to say the most unique was the Reactor IPA with a hint of coconut - absolutely loved it and would make the drive just for another one! The food menu looked great with a nice variety of appetizers and sandwiches. They were out of several things after a busy weekend, but we weren't planning to eat so it wasn't an issue. However, we can never pass up a beer cheese so we ordered the app. It was served with warmed pita and made with smoked cheddar - definitely worth a try. The atmosphere is casual and inviting with street parking right out front. We'll definitely add it to our list of brewery stops!

Made a trip here after reading an article in the Herald Palladium and was not disappointed in the slightest! Excellent beers and a great selection especially considering that they've been open for less than a year! The server was very knowledgeable and let us sample a couple beers before deciding. The cashew curry "hummus" (no garbanzos) was absolutely amazing! One of the owners even stopped by our table to ask if we were doing well and chatted for a few minutes. The music selection was also phenomenal (Bon Iver, need I say more?). Overall, a great new establishment. Looking forward to visiting again!
