My first time being to hooters and it was a disappointment. I've always heard their wings are fantastic, it's what they're know for....besides degrading women in their required uniforms; but that's a different story(: I ordered medium wings thinking I'd get a red colored sauce with a nice kick to them. When they came, I thought they were wrong. They're looked like they had melted butter over them, and they tasted like it too. Not a fan of the atmosphere or the wings! (:

If you had a bad experience here in Bay City in the past don't let that keep you away. They are now newly remodeled and run by Corporate Hooters Of America. Much nicer, super clean and the help is all new and very friendly. The General Manager RJ is on top of things and very professional. My favorite part is you can no longer see the cooks in the back.

This place has good food as do most locations but this one is lacking some things. It hasn't been taken care of very well. Just looks kind of best up and dingy. I still come here when I want wings. Been coming to this location since I played little league on the other side of the harbor. Consistently good wings. I wish they would update the liquor list though.

If you are not in a hurry or do not like to receive your food after a reasonable wait, then this is the place for you! After a gorgeous day of boating, we decided to dock at Hooters for an early dinner. We were acknowledged promptly and a server came to take our drink order right away, then we had a hand-off to another server who must've just come back from lunch. She acknowledged our drink orders and after about 15 minutes we finally were served our beverages. We placed our order - I had wings, he had a sandwich and I had specifically asked for NO drummies - all flats. The waitress looked confused and trotted away. I flagged her down 10 minutes later to make sure she understood what I had ordered. "OH YES!" 20 minutes goes by, 30... Finally at the 45 minute mark our food came out. I was served both drummies and flats and then brought MORE flats because she screwed up my order. The sauce on the General Tsao's wings were super ridiculous sweet to the point where I couldn't eat them.

We went to hooters for some drinks and grub. It was during Monday night football and the waitress gave us the grubbiest menus I've seen in a long time. It looked like they were 15 years old and there were only a few inches of paper keeping them together. When she came to take our orders she used a dirty napkin because she didn't have a pad of paper. When we teased her about her dirty napkin she showed us a cardboard booklet she had carried around with her for the last two years. It looked like a homemade beer box diary. After she walked away with our orders I decided to head to the bathroom. There was only one other person in the bathroom and when I was washing my hands I noticed one of the cooks leave the crapper stall and walk right out of the bathroom without washing his. I was so upset I said something to the guys I was with and we asked our waiter to confront the cook. She agreed that he neglected proper health safety rules and told her manager. All in all I'm so unimpressed by a large chain. The view was great but hooters is not a dive bar and their lack of proper management was evident.

I'll be honest: I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was a Hooter's in the small town of Bay City, but because of that, I kept my expectations low. As I walked in I saw a sign saying that there were $1 draft beers...pretty good! I had twenty wings and they were really good...so good I came back a few times over my two week stay in Bay City. All of the women working there were extremely nice and gorgeous. A good place to go watch some sports games.

Filthy dirty, no soap in bathroom, bathroom door locks don't work. Slow service because cooks kept having orders sent back as they were wrong. Dirt on floor, merchandise was a mess, windows greasy, menus not clean. Airhead waitresses who think they're hot but not. Will not be going back.

Let's face it... You only go to Hooters for two things: The hot wings and the waitresses. So I guess i'll start with the hot wings, I've been going to Hooters at least twice a year since I was 11 and now I'm 27. I was alway a fan of their boneless 3 mile island wings, but as the years have gone by the wings have taken a sad turn for the worse. I remember the six nice meaty chicken strips of my youth and I've solemnly watched them slowly get thinner and smaller as I progressed in age to small, lame tidbits of that once mighty bird. The waitresses have also been on a downhill slide. When I was 18-19 the waitress were fun, attractive, hardbodied, 25 yr old women who not only knew how to take your order correctly, but also how to have an intelligent conversation with their patrons. Now, the waitresses are coke thin, fresh out of high school, numb from the neck up girls that think that they deserve a tip based on the fact that they were hot shit in high school and haven't hit freshman 15 yet...

Each time I have ate there the service has been slower and slower. During my last visit earlier this week the beer taps werent working so you had to get bottled beer, which was really a turn off myself and those in my party. The food selection and quality has also really gone downhill since the new ownership purchased the restaurant last year. One of the worst hooters I've been to, and it's sad because it's my hometown one.

Average. Ever since the new owners came on board, they added liquor which is a plus. however, it's hard to drink hard liquor and eat chicken wings...so i always go with the beer. they do have a decent beer offering

located next to the Liberty Marina (owned by the city). flanked on the other side by Pier 6 marina (privately owned). interesting aside: it has a minigolf (and video gaming, including xbox/ps3/etc) setup in the parking lot, but that is a third party vendor closer to the marina. standard hooters fare that you find everywhere else. the "scenery" here leaves MUCH to be desired, so docked two stars here. 3 stars overall.

Under corporate management!! They have cleaned up the place and totally restored my faith in Hooters!! EVERYTHING is better here and just like it should be. If you haven't been here lately, come back and give it another try!! We did, and we'll be back again!!

Absolute shit show. I've given this location numerous chances as one would think beer & wings is an easy combo. You couple that with a fantastic location & this should be a turn key business. Not so. They routinely provide poor service, sub par food, & a uncleanly environment. On 08/15/2015, after docking the boat at their restaurant, it took almost an hour for a waitress to take our order. Upon doing so she advised that the orders would take an additional 1hour 30mins to come out as they were swamped. All this after she advised one of our crew "we weren't her only customers" upon asking for a drink! After the poor treatment I went into the restaurant (as we were originally seated outdoors) to speak to the manager. The place was half empty & by no means packed. The manager assured me there was no hour & a half wait to please give them another chance. I moved inside per her request & within 5 minutes of placing my order, it arrived at the table. I'm not one to ever bitch about my service. I'd just as soon leave & never return, but I felt as this place is under new ownership/management I'd try some constructive criticism. To the manager I say thank you for sorting me out, however I won't be returning. Just FYI, the party I was there with was 10 deep, all dock their boats locally & fancy a drink. The missed opportunity yesterday was probably a $300+ tab, plus future business.

We sat for a long time without drinks. The waitress blamed the Bartender, then when our food took nearly an hour, she blamed it on the cook. When we talked to the General Manager we were never even offered any accommodation for our poor service. I'm not impressed!
