I met a friend here and was a bit hesitant at the poor rating. Luckily it turned out to be a good experience. We did come at an odd time, there were only two other tables, so there were no issues with service. The interior is pretty bland, it looks like a family restaurant. Nothing concerning, but do not expect a traditional Thai decor. The food was good, some of what we ordered was better than other orders. Someone else mentioned there is inconsistency and I can see that. The pad see-ew was good, could use more sauce. My friend had some kind of yellow curry that had potatoes in it that was very good and flavorful. I also had the shrimp spring rolls which were amazing. If you come I highly recommend them. Overall, not the best Thai you will find, or the best atmosphere, but good.

If you go to Taste of Thailand for lunch, allow extra time, for both sit-down and takeout. The service is very slow, and the area is filled with business people who also have the same idea for lunch as yourself. If they could hire in a couple more staff members for lunch, they'd be a much, much better establishment. We waited almost 40 minutes for our food last week in my group of six, which is just awful. The food makes up for it though. The green curry dish with chicken is SOOO good, and their sweet and sour soup is dang tasty, too!

Won't order from here again, Ordered mine mild, was very hot. Food also appeared old - ordered Pad Khing. Peppers, carrots and mushrooms looked day old at best - dark and mushy. We used to like it here, but not anyore,

The only reason I'm giving a one star is because the food came out fast. The absolute worst Thai food and service I ever had. These owners don't have the slightest clue about good customer service: waitress brought out my dish and gave me the check at the same time. A dine in experience that was a sorry excuse. Do NOT order anything from here, the pad thai sauce was so bland and tasted like sugar water with food coloring. I will never go here again!!!! I hope the owners are reading this! Your service and food stink and until you realize you have to provide to the American population you will continue to lose business. You can't serve customers this way, it's degrading and the quality of the food is a testament to how many corners you cut. Do yourself a favor and bring in a consultant or convert to a chinese restaurant where the poor standards are somewhat bearable.

I came to this spot only because my car GPS said it was close by and open. I had no expectations. The place was empty when I came in at 7:30 on a weeknight. The place needs an upgrade. The front door sticks and the decor is dated and dark. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The place has made an effort to develop a short wine list and advertises cocktails. The waitress asked if I had an idea of what I wanted, and let me order from my head rather than the menu. I had a panang curry with tofu and vegetables. The curry sauce was quite good with the proper amount of heat to be considered "medium hot." Unfortunately, the "vegetables" consisted entirely of a green bell pepper chunked into the sauce. The tofu was deep fried into delicious little chunks, but there was too much of it. They would have been better off with half the tofu and a variety of vegetable. I also had a good shrimp spring roll although the dipping sauce was bland. It can be improved with the hot sauce on the table. Lastly, I had a generous Thai iced tea that was delicious and sweet, topped with an inch of cream. Given its proximity to a college and major corporate offices, I suspect this is more of a lunch than dinner place.

This is my 2nd time here and both times I've had a totally decent experience, food, service, decor and atmosphere are perfectly okay. I'm glad I came, and if I'm in the area I'll definetly be back!

I love Thai food and am always looking for a new place to try. One of my buddies suggested this place for a lunch get together and I was happy to try it. I had heard bad things about this place from another fellow, so I did not go there with high expectations. But all is well that ends well and the meal was, on balance, pretty darned good. The not so good: The soup that they brought to the table was about as Thai as I am, so therefore not Thai at all. It was a kind of bland cornstarch thickened egg drop melange that had no real kick to it. I guess they might have to serve to the middle of the bell curve, and perhaps many American eaters don't like spice, but this was sinful to serve at a Thai restaurant. They could have offered two different soups, but we got the middle of the road. It was served with Chinese style fried noodles too which were also incongruous. The good: I really enjoyed the Masaman Curry I ordered. I chose beef as the meat and it was spicy, flavorful and the portion size was more than adequate. Masaman is served with potatoes and other vegetables and the thick curry sauce is made with coconut milk. It was very tasty indeed and they did not cheap out by substituting potatoes for the beef. The beef was there and it was tender and juicy. The aromatic rice came in individual large rice bowls and we did not have to ask for more. I was able to sop up all that tasty gravy from the Masaman Curry. The friendly servers kept our water glasses full and everything was served punctually and professionally. I will go back.

This place is alway very meh to me. I have no specific complaint about a bad dish, it is just that I am not a fan if their recipes or flavors. Everything seems to be cooked fine. I used to have a co-worker who liked to come here so we went fairly often. I was never excited about it. The place is always slammed at lunch probably because of lots of local offices, so I also had to wait a lot for my meh food. Since my co-worker quit we now take the extra few minutes to drive to sukhothai at Rochester and Auburn.

Decent Thai Food. I'm from the east coast so I find mid-west Asian food very mild. This is par for the course here so scale our order appropriately. Of the 3 Thai places in the neighbor this has the best Drunken Noodle and Pad Thai. The soup is some time not hot enough. The service is very quick and they are alway hovering, refilling water.

This is our favorite lunch spot for Thai food in the area!!! Very busy at lunch! Great food and typically quick service. Good value for the price.

I can't say this is the greatest Thai food around, but I don't think it's as bad as Dan T..... This Thai place is near the office, so we occasionally come here for lunch. From my experience, it's all about what you order - the taste is rather inconsistent among dishes. The fried rice (they have several kinds, I just get the "usual" one) and the pad curry were both very good, but I was not at all happy with the pad Thai. It had a weird flavor and was redish colored, which is an immediate red flag, in my opinion. The service can be pretty spotty and during the lunch rush it gets pretty busy. The soup they serve before the meal is a little weird tasting, so I have learned to just say no thank you. If you are going to dine here, try a curry dish. Stay away from the pad Thai!

No one dares to go! That's why there is no review! There is nothing positive to be said about the place. The service was slow, mixing up orders, bringing appetizers with the entrees. The food was mediocre at best, unimaginative, bland even when asked to be spicy. An instant Ramen soup would have been more satisfactory to the taste buds: at least you get what you expect at a better price. If I would have been alone and not with friends, I would have left after the first bites. It is a waste of space for that restaurant!

I've been going here for a few years and have noticed an improvement during this time. I have been ordering the Pad Thai every time for the past year on my monthly visits and love it!! The lady who is part owner of the place is very sweet and works very hard so I have always enjoyed showing my support. Portions are good, food is tasty, and the water plentiful!
