DELICIOUS! The yogurt was amazing and they have all sorts of flavors to choose from. There are so many I want to try, I have to go back...for sure! I was very impressed with the friendly people and atmosphere. A friend of mine told me about this place, and I drove from Hartland to try it....well worth the drive and very reasonably priced!!

It was a chilly below zero degree kind of night, but the Californian girl in me really wanted froyo...a quick yelp search and I found this hole in the wall in a strip mall! Their froyo was one of the best I've had. I had the cake batter and strawberry cheesecake flavors and they were amazing!!!! I tried the coffee as well, it was great, if I had been in a coffee mood def would have gotten it. They have mini tasting cups by the froyo machine and you can try as many flavors as you want. Great selection of toppings as well. Overall, great experience!!

Fantastic yogurt! The flavors were amazing--white vanilla, Dutch chocolate, apple pie, New York cheesecake, cake batter, pumpkin, cookies n cream, lemon pound cake, and even a non-dairy sorbet option! There were also a few more flavors available, I don't remember them though. I cannot believe most of them are nonfat or lowfat! They also offered two sugar free fat free flavors- chocolate and red velvet. I sampled them and didn't really like them, but I overheard some excited girls talking about how they tasted like tootsie rolls. They also have a wide selection of toppings and you can also make a yogurt smoothie by adding your own froyo and toppings into a cup. I also love how they had fall and Halloween inspired flavors (the pumpkin and apple pie tasted amazing) and toppings (candy corn!!!). The owner and the workers who work there are soooo kind and if you sign up with your email, you can get tons of coupons (bogo free!!!). They also have those cool divider things for your yogurt and Eco friendly spoons. This is definitely way better than the new place in the village (yummie yogurt I believe).

My boyfriend and I were out in Auburn Hills and decided to stop in for a frozen treat! My first impression was that it was very clean and decorated very nicely! Lots of seating and cute quotes hanging from the wall. Now to the good part! I tried Birthday Cake and the boyfriend had Red Velvet - both were DELICIOUS! They had a ton of froyo flavors to choose from and a huge variety of toppings, too. The Sanders Hot Fudge was my favorite :) They even have these interesting little balls with fruit juice called Boba Balls. I had never heard of them, but one of the employees offered to let us try some. They were actually quite tasty! For the two of us with good sized cups, we paid around $8.00- pretty reasonable pricing! We had a great experience at Coolyo and can't wait to go back! Just wish it was a little closer to Livonia ;)

Love Cool Yo! I especially love their flavor rotations. I know I can count on always being a fan of at least one of their 8 calorie/oz froyo and using fruit to make a low calorie sundae! Open late too which is a bonus since my froyo cravings happen late at night when nothing is open!

Love this place! Coolyo has amazing frozen yogurt and fabulous customer service. The employees are always so helpful and friendly. They are fairly inexpensive compared to other froyo places, and offer generous discounts and a loyalty program. They also offer several healthier options so you can feel good about eating there!

Frozen yogurt, what an amazing thing! Nice little location right across the street from Oakland University. The parking lot is a little crazy since there are a lot of other places in the plaza. But don't be deterred! They serve coffee and tea, but the best is the frozen yogurt. You get your cup and I always get a divider so I can enjoy more than one flavor. There are at least 10 or more flavors to choose from and quadruple the amount of fixings to put on your frozen yogurt! I get overwhelmed of the choices! Sure it costs a bit if you really pile on fixings, but it's a treat! Cool plastic spoons to eat your frozen yogurt and plenty of seating inside and out. They also allow you to do fundraisers which is very nice and good for the community. I would've given 5 stars but the price is a bit steep so I lowers it to 4. Still a great value for once in a while treat!

A family-friendly frozen yogurt/sorbet/smoothie joint with non-fat and low-fat options! Great flavors every time with the bonus of new flavors joining the rotation. Bring in the program from your place of worship on Sunday for 10% off.

10% student discount. $0.49 per ounce. Free 10oz frogurt for every ten you get. Let that be known if you go to Oakland University. This place reminded me pretty much exactly of Yummie Yogurt a bit down the street, with maybe a few less topping choices. There are about six machines with two flavors each (do the math, man) with a nice range of different flavors to choose from. The pumpkin and New York cheesecake twist flavors were LUDA! I like Coolyo. It's clean, there are a couple TVs if you hate being sociable, and there's a student discount. Kind of nothing to dislike about this place... I mean it's even next door to Buddy's. Perfect.

Loved this place until the customer service was rude and I surprisingly got the worst food poisoning of my life. I had the cheesecake with pinnapple, strawberries & brownie pieces. It most likely was the fruit from sitting out and people accidentally touching it constantly (so not 'sanitary'). Needless to say I use to like it here but will not be returning. I don't think when you're borderline going into the UC for food poisoning you probably shouldn't go back to where it all began....

Best frozen yogurt I've had in this area! There are several different self-serve places around, but this place easily has the best quality yogurt. To me, that's the most important aspect. They are also very clean and family-friendly. They also have a great catering option. I've seen the CoolYo cart around campus at OU and at various community events. Definitely worth trying. Make sure to get a punch card!

Great service, great flavors and topping options, Eco-friendly, and a wonderful environment. CoolYo always has something neat going on like open mic night, or various discounts (college students, seniors, bringing in a bulletin from your place of worship, etc.) and of course every Monday they offer a free 10 oz. to whoever finds the mascot hidden around the community. And they keep adding awesome things like tabletop s'mores (which I haven't tried YET) and it's an inviting place even in the winter. As someone who doesn't drink coffee I much prefer asking others if they want to grab some froyo at Cool Yo than grabbing coffee! I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. :-) I read the one review that said it's pricey. They charge by the ounce and is comparable to similar self-serve frozen yogurt shops. Besides, they're so involved in the community I'd much rather go here than anywhere else.

First impressions in business are important, and we had a great first impression. Self-service yogurt with a ton of flavors and toppings, and the yogurt is sold by weight. Yogurt was smooth, toppings were terrific! They need bigger cups! lol

This place is a delight! The environment is inviting and friendly. The staff/owners are very friendly as well. Like a lot of frozen yogurt places, you pay for how much your cup weighs after choosing the different yogurt flavors and toppings, so keep track of how much you're putting in that cup! It gets easy to fill it fast with all the selections. The pricing seems about average for the make your own frozen yogurt shop, however, the coffee and tea they offer is a steal!

The yogurt and toppings are very good but it is over priced...a family of four can expect to pay at least $20. It's very "cool" inside, but unless they lower their prices, I think they might have a hard time staying in business in Michigan.
