Great food for acceptable price. Like a subway (spinach, onion, pickles, tomato) but with romaine lettuce as an option, with many sauces and spreads like avocado and hummus. Super yummy.

The food tastes great. I usually get the chicken breast pita and fill it with veggies. I think it's a great alternative to subway. The employees are always very nice and informative if you have any questions about the menu. My only problem is when I come in the mornings sometimes there is a 6 year old girl running the cash register. She's pretty good at it; but she's too young to work, let alone work in a party college town campus. I hope this review sheds some light on the problem.

Might take a long line and long wait if there are too many people. The pita was good, I've been here for lunch for a few months, though service and food quality depends. (Some employees really did great job while some make you sick). Cheap and filling if you're starving.

I love this place and my friends and I go there often. Its fresh, healthy, ok priced and close to school. Often has deals on Hooked app too.

Sure, it's a chain, but look beyond that for a moment. Cheap fare that you can make as healthy (or unhealthy) as you want. Load up a pita with your choice of meat that they will grill up, and an assortment of vegetables - all which are much fresher than anything you'd get at Subway. Wednesday is extra meat for $0.99. Great after workout option if you are looking for some quick protein.

One of my FAVORITE places to eat on campus! Everything is always fresh and tasty. I love when they have coupons with Campus Special! Definitely keeps me coming back.

The pita I ordered was decent. I had also ordered a diet coke and they gave me a water. It also took over an hour for them to deliver the one falafel pita I had ordered. I would eat here again but only in store not through delivery.

I was hungry walking through AA, did not have much time and stumbled on The Pita Pit. Having never been to one before I reverted to my old staple. "Grilled chicken with veggies" For "Fast-Food" I thought the quality was very good..much better than Subway!! I ordered the grilled chicken, with grilled mushroom, onions and green peppers. Then added lettuce, jalapeno, banana pepper, black olives and jack cheese. Topped off with their secret sauce. There were a number of other options including hummus. It filled my need for a quick somewhat healthy meal that tasted good. I would choose this over a Subway any day.

As much as I enjoy this chain, this particular location is not very good. They advertise delivery and even give out coupons for free delivery, but on three separate occasions they have told me they can't deliver because they don't have a driver available. I like stopping here for lunch and it's typically fine, but I've been disappointed quite a bit.

If you know how to make your pita taste the way you want and you're not a plebeian, this place is pretty good. The service has been great in my experience from staying open 15 mins late to help you and buddy out and to providing free drinks and a ton of coupons. It cheap and filling if you do it right. If you just get your pita with just lettuce in addition to your protein, you're going to leave hungry. Fill it up with all the veggies! Also, its not Subway you idiots. Its much cheaper with better deals, better choices, and they don't skim you on any of the veggies. I can't tell you how many times Subway has put what seems like a singular green pepper slice on my sandwich and I've had to ask multiple times for them to put some more on it. Not here. They load you up. For what it is worth, it is worth it.

This place seems like a Subway with pita bread, only the interior of the restaurant seems much brighter. o_O Their online nutrition calculator is great for anyone who's counting calories.

Like the others said, this is just Subway but with pita bread. I'd add that they do have a few additional very exotic things you can put in your sub, e.g. hummus. I'd also add that it is probably about 20% more expensive than a foot-long sub at Subway, while being about 20% smaller in size.

Just went in for the first time and that not only do they not serve tahini (although it is listed on their menu) NONE OF THE STAFF KNOW WHAT TAHINI IS! First they tried to tell me it's the same as tzatziki (!!!) then they told me that it was the same thing as hummus!!!!! Totally embarrassing for them and the owners. That an entire staff of people working could be so poorly trained regarding the products they are preparing/selling is scary. Additionally, although the falafel was fried to order it had a funky taste and texture. Def. never going back.

If i had to sum it up honestly: it's nothing but subway made with pita bread. They do have a good selection of dessings to choose from, the pita was ok, an they do also have a pretty good selection of pita's to choose from. Good place if your on a diet and/or coming from a workout.

I'm torn. I love me some pitas, especially the chicken souvlaki on wheat with all veggies and horseradish dijon, but the service here is not my favorite. Sometimes it's great and you'll get someone that stuffs enough veggies into your pita to make it burst at the seams. Other times, you'll have the person making your sandwich joke loudly about pubic hair on someone's face as they forget what you asked them to add. Not appetizing, at least not for me.

Just had a great pita. Got to choose from some nice toppings and it tasted great. Staff was nice and made just what I want. I did have a difficult time hearing them because the of music level and machine noise.

Ok place. Not exactly exciting. It's one guy in a shop and you can get a healthier option than most the places around. I definitely agree with others that this place is like subway, but just shoved in a pita.

Not the best food ever but ok if you want a quick bite. All the pita meats, falafel and black bean come in frozen and processed so beware. Also they claim to be vegetarian and vegan friendly but the staff doesn't seemed to be trained on how to change gloves before touching my food. *shudders* As an aside the last time I came in (late night) the person at the register was SCREAMING at all the workers and I heard her comment to another customer that if she didn't yell they weren't going to listen. Yikes! would not want to work with that.

I just ordered from the Pita Pit, and I would not neccessarily reccomend the delivery option based on my experience. I waited for 45 minutes, then had to chase down the delivery guy. It wasn't his fault he wasn't familiar with campus- I would have had the same problem. However, it was kind of a long wait. I also ordered online and didn't know if they got my order because it took so long and they didn't charge my card right away. However, the food that I got was really good, and it came to be about 16 dollars with 2 pitas, tip, delivery fee, and tax. My food was good. I got the falafel pita with cheese, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, teriyaki sauce, pesto, avacado, and cilantro. I didn't like the cilantro, but everything else was good. It was my first time trying falafel and it was pretty good. I would go back again, but maybe this time dine-in.

I eat there every day and even twice a day. The service is always fast considering everything is cooked right in front of you. Average wait times are 2-5 minutes from the register to pita in hand. Which is great for a home cooked style meal. Every menu option is customizable, the staff is very friendly and attentive. To Kayla... its a fast food style restaurant. Some things are going to be frozen... Even if you went to the grocery store to get falafel or black bean patties they are frozen. From what i've seen in my many visits the pita handlers simply fill the pitas with vegatables and toppings of your choice, then the grill cook puts the meats in the pitas and the pita line rolls them. Touching the outside pita the entire time, not the meat inside. Cross contamination is non existant or minimal, if its a big deal ask your roller to change gloves before working on your pita. Im sure they would be happy to :).
