We were looking for a hearty, classic breakfast. The food, including portion size, was fabulous. It took a little time to get our food, but it Was worth the wait. We will definitely be going back before the end of our trip.

Super slow service. ( had to beg for coffee refills) Decent quality. One step above "greasy spoon"

Keep driving...not worth the stop. Small portions of plain old food. Nothing special here at relatively high prices for what you get. Our waitress was friendly once we were seated. Walked in at 10am on a Wednesday..no one waiting but us. No fewer than 8 staff members walked by us (some, multiple times) and didn't even bother to say, "I'll be right with you" or anything. It was as if we were invisible. Very annoying. Oh, and by the way...according to our daughter...the strawberries on the pancakes made the pancakes mushy. The strawberry sauce was extremely wet.

Norma's is just ok... their home fries are potatoes deep fried,,, eggs were fresh and cooked correctly and I always order their homemade muffins... cranberry and nuts which is good... The reason we come here is because they have a big parking lot and we are pulling a camper so it's easy to park... other wise we would go to other places.

Not a very good experience. Waitress was abrupt and not friendly (no smile here). The cook kept coming out with food saying from table to table "is this yours?". If you are looking for home fries, they are really French fries. Not worth the $. And they do not accept cards. Disappointing.

Norma's restaurant is totally plain Jane and just what we were looking for. Fast friendly service, clean and inexpensive. We had breakfast, eggs and such. Just off the interstate so easy off and on. Perfect for a quick bite. If you are not expecting gourmet Norma's is perfect!

We've been to Norma's a handful of times over the past decade. We've always been happy with everything. Today we stopped en route to Rangeley. We were disappointed in the portions--very small for the price. The "specials" came with small pancakes, hardly any potatoes, and what didn't look like two eggs. Also, had to ask the waitress for my tea that was included. Then, on our way out, I realized we should've gotten juice--it wasn't even offered to us despite being part of the special ordered. I am still hungry as I write this review. It is clean & friendly though.

Good service....food was average or less. Very small portions. Simple ambience. Average price...not the best breakfast experience but, who am I? Lot is always full. Go and try for yourself

Not a very good breakfast. Reminded me of the college food line. Eggs are eggs they were fine. Home fries right up there with the worst I've ever had. Deep fried no flavor, no potato right out of a frozen food bag. Bacon either packaged pre cooked or deep fried. Low quality bread for toast. The ole shot glass of OJ. Coffee low grade probably generic food service offering. Service was fine no issues. Much better places around the area, tourist trap. Again don't get all the positive reviews. Put some effort into your food quality.........

We come to Maine every year and having breakfast at Norma's is a must!!! The staff is great, prices are perfect, and food is awesome.

I love Norma's! It's a bit of a family tradition to stop here en route to going to York or Ogunquit for a vacation or beach day! The breakfast is nothing fancy- but it is consistent and reasonably priced! The service is extremely friendly and they usually move pretty quick!

This place was a handy stop on a road trip through southern Maine. It's not too far off the interstate, and you can eat pretty quickly. The food is standard diner fare. My partner and I both had turkey club sandwiches, which come with fries, and they were good but not great. The service was fast and friendly, and the bathrooms were clean. They do not take credit card, so you have to make sure you have cash with you.

Servers are super friendly and are like a little family at Norma's. Prices and food are great, not huge portions though. Quick service, and cash/check only. Our go to spot for breakfast in York, they have both breakfast and lunch!

FROM 7/4/2012 - Stopped here on our way up north. We were in a relaxed vacation mood but getting hungry. Right off Exit 7. Spacious, friendly staff, clean and pleasant atmosphere. Food typical diner with good menu selection. I had a PB&J on wheat with whole milk and potato chips and my beau had eggs, bacon, toast and home fries with juice and coffee. Everything was made well, reasonably priced and portioned just right. We arrived just before noon on the 4th of July and there was a steady flow of folks that the staff served promptly. I say GO and support local places. Norma was there! BREAKFAST SERVED ALL DAY! NO CREDIT CARDS.

Norma's breakfast is OK but big $$ for small small portions. Cash only is annoying.Clean friendly and comfortable place though.

Ah Norma's. One of my favorite breakfast places. Is it the quaint atmosphere that makes it great? Or is it the food quality? Or both? To start off, there is typically never a long wait here, with the exception of perhaps Saturday or Sunday diners, the place is not "dead" per se, but is usually never "packed" either. The wait staff are very nice and attentive just enough not to get on your nerves with over-attentiveness. The food portions are reasonably generous to a person with the average stomach. Larger/smaller portions are available to people with bigger/smaller appetites of course. I've always come out with a full stomach every time. I've really never had a bad meal here. Prices are not too bad, considering there are fancier places around (The Stolen Menu, the Egg and I in Wells.) And no, I'm not saying this isn't fancy, I'm just saying it's not as expensive. Oh, and you pay at the counter. Overall, worth a visit if you want a good breakfast without a long wait time. S.O.

My family and I stopped in for breakfast while traveling to Brewer. We did so based on the feedback on Yelp. I would say they are fairly accurate. Food was good and inexpensive. The place was nice and clean.

Nice little breakfast joint located in a strip mall, nothing quaint but it's basic. Parking can get hairy cos it's popular.

Norma's is the most well-known breakfast place in town. It's good, cheap, typical diner breakfast food, casual atmosphere.

Not the largest portions ever and the service wasn't perfect, but it was decent food for a good price.
