Wicked Good Ice Cream

Great ice cream, at reasonable prices, with personable service. And a very long list of flavors to choose from. What more can you ask for?!?! Definitely stop by for ice cream if you are in the downtown York area. You won't be disappointed!!
A pretty cool ice cream shop that also sells flip flops and sunglasses...haha But on to the ice cream - Graham Central Station - YUMMY! I will admit that I hadn't had ice cream in about 9 months when we stopped in to Wicked Good so that might have affected my opinion but seriously -it was delicious! We were only in York Beach for 1 night - otherwise we would have seriously considered coming back to try some of the other flavors... drooool.... Definitely give them a try when you're in the area!
Great ice cream parlor. Has chairs outside where you can enjoy the ice cream with your dogs. Lots of flavors and large options on the menu. We had a small pistachio soft serve and peach soft serve. Realistic flavors and a small was a rather generous portion. Will definitely go back when I am next in York, Maine.

Amazing dinner here! The calamari tenders were unreal and all our dinners were fantastic...the swordfish, half chicken and the smoked ribs. Cute decor, friendly staff and inventive menu items. This place is a must if in York!
My boyfriend and I went here on a Saturday night, it was busy, but we were seated and served quickly. The food was great, and the drink selection was varied and interesting. The atmosphere was really nice, you could tell they put a lot of thought into it. We will definitely be back.
What a wonderful find in the York neighborhood! The dumplings and truffle fries are delicious. If you are getting the steak they have an incredible wood grill. Get the mud pie for dessert! The service was excellent and they gave great recommendations.

Just discovered this place a couple of weeks ago, and I've eaten there multiple times since. The food has been consistently great and the people working there are always so friendly. The lunch and dinner specials are a good option to try an entree and a couple of sides.
Excellent food. Everything so fresh and delicious. Very friendly staff and easy on the wallet. we went here for dinner on friday night and had a great meal, we both had curry & homemade coconut ice cream and was made perfectly. They were flavorful and the ingredients were fresh. You need to try this place!!!
My family and I go here weekly, and we really love this place. The food is excellent, and the service is very friendly. Great spring rolls, pad thai, salads, tofu, noodle soups, etc. etc. The prices are also very reasonable. The dinner special menu is an outstanding value! The only recommendation I have is to "warm up" the atmosphere a bit. The place is very cold and uncomfortable, with bright, obnoxious, overhead florescent lights. You can't really be relaxed when you eat there, which is why most of their customers order take out!

Very good. Food is fresh and flavorful. Staff is nice and service is friendly and fast. Great eggs Benedict and the muffins looked great. FYI, THIS is the best place in town.
Open @ 4:30 am! Muffins are great, I had banana nut toasted on grill, awesome. Eggs, French toast, pancakes, etc.... Worth a trip.
Ate there on my way home from a friend's wedding. Best F$#@ing breakfast ever. They have these homemade cherry, raspberry, strawberry muffins that they toast on the griddle. The omelets have real spiral ham not the processed crap and the whole place is family run right down to the kids busing tables. I will make a trips to York ME just to eat breakfast here.

I'm local that figured this was just another coffee shop, boy was I wrong! I had no idea what I was missing out on! Fresh deliciousness and a super cool vibe! I'm coming back soon!!!!!
This little coffee and donut shop is hidden across from Hannaford. Inside you will smell fresh donuts right out of the fryer with unique flavors. They also have real eggs sandwiches on biscuits . Everything is wicked yummy!!! The coffee and lattes are good but not the best in the state , prices are high for coffee. Worth a visit when in the area you will be happy you did.
Fantastic little breakfast spot! The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is great. Breakfast is served all day and includes an awesome assortment of donuts and breakfast sandwiches. They also have smoothies and coffee specialties galore.

My husband and I had a small vacation coming up and he suggested a bed and breakfast. I have never searched for one before or been to this area, so we searched many review sites and looked at about 11 different inns around the area. This one seemed to fit what we were looking for so we booked. We received a prompt email reply confirming our reservation. We even received a thank you email after we arrived home. Our (somewhat old) GPS was a bit off in finding the place, but the signs all around the area clearly marked the way and we were able to find it with no issue. The grounds are VERY well kept and the view is beautiful. Our room was a single (no neighbors on top of us) with a king and a gorgeous view of the water. Everyone we met at the inn was very friendly. We are at the restaurant the first night and everyone there was super friendly and helpful as well. She even helped me decide on a drink based on what flavors I liked AND helped me pick a dinner (everything looked so good I couldn't decide). Even the view from inside the restaurant was beautiful. Everything was very clean and well kept. I like how they focus on recycling and not waste energy. Easy access to plenty of restaurants and shops and a zoo. They even have games and bikes on site for you to use for free (like horseshoe, shuffleboard, bicycles, and badminton). They even held our bags on site while we went into town (check in isn't until 4pm and we wanted to arrive earlier). It was super hot outside and didn't want to leave our bags in the car. Wish we could have stayed there longer. What a romantic, peaceful, and relaxing experience.
Last summer we rented a 3 BR cottage overlooking a stunningly beautiful view for one week. We were so pleased that we have reserved for two weeks this summer! A wonderful place for a true family Maine vacation. We went with grandparents, parents and kids. The LR and DR are well furnished. The full kitchen has all the cooking utensils and pans needed so no need to go out for meals unless you want to. Also, an outdoor grill. No need to go to laundramat as it has a washer and dryer. This is a perfect situation for a family. Onsite outdoor games, boat rental and beach paraphenalia make everything so convenient. Kayaking in walking distance and beach a short drive. We plan to return on a regular basis.
Lovely view and peaceful. Very warm welcome when we checked in and enjoyed the cookies and tea at check-in. Only complaint is that the room smelled very musty like an old basement.

If you're in York DON"T MISS this place for breakfast or lunch. Excellent coffee (I'll report back on the brand, but it's not Green Mountain anymore...much smoother brews, plus a robust version called "Capone") and great pastries, but go for the sandwiches... Any sandwich (breakfast or lunch) is enough for 2 and very reasonably priced ($7-9). Food is flavorful, fresh and prepared with care by the owner, John. They offer 6 or so different scrambled egg wraps, and maybe 8-10 lunch sandwiches, from Rueben to Chicken Salad, but my favorites are the Turkey ones: The Pilgrim: roasted Turkey breast, sprouts, cucumber slices, cranberry-mayo on fresh multigrain and The Villager (Thanksgiving in a sandwich): roasted Turkey breast, warm, homemade stuffing, cranberry-mayo on fresh multigrain (rats, now I'm hungry!). The soups are homemade and are outstanding, too. Peek in the kitchen and say hi to John - you'll be impressed at how beautifully arranged and SPOTLESS it is in there. The place is warm and welcoming, and the staff tends to you attentively. Be aware - this is not a "fast food" restaurant - everything is made to order, so visit when you're not in a huge rush so you can enjoy your meal. Or, call ahead and they'll have it ready to go for you. They are in the small plaza with Mr. Mike's gas and convenience - come here instead for your sandwich and coffee!
A very cute and quiet cafe...we went out looking for a breakfast restaurant bit all popular places were packed so we took a chance on roast and crumb ...it doesn't offer a major amount of items but what they have is very good...so if your looking for quialty and taste you might want to give this place a try...it's run by a husband and wife.
Nice little place and very nice, friendly people working there. Regulars go in and out and the place has a great feel. The coffee was a bit bitter, I thought, and the cappuccino was not a cappuccino (this is starting to be a theme, right?). It was a latte or just a lot of milk with some coffee. The scone was good, not fabulous. I suspect the breakfast sandwich is good. I'd like to give a 3.5 because the people are so nice and you just like being there.

I've had better baked stuffed lobsters, but it was good. The accompanying bread and vegetables were good. The setting is spectacular. The dining room smelled a bit musty, but the porch was lovely. Not in a huge hurry to go back.
My husband and I were staying on site at the inn, so naturally we ate here for our first night. We were immediately seated. The view of the water is beautiful. Not crowded at all (Monday evening). It's quiet, romantic, and clean. Our waitress is very sweet and offers suggestions for a drink. I wasn't sure what I wanted and gave her a starting point of "rum and sweet". The drink she suggested was delicious! I actually came back the next day just to have another. My husband ordered the steak, which was HUGE and cooked perfectly. I ordered the drunken lobster and scallops. I feel ashamed but normally I'm not a huge fan of lobster. Our waitress actually suggested it saying the sauce is the best. She was right! It was absolutely delicious and the texture of the lobster was melt in your mouth tender (guess I had bad experience with lobster in the past with it being too rubbery). The sauce was delicious. I also got the clam chowder. It was alright. I personally like it a bit thicker, but that's just me. The food was great, the atmosphere was great, the people were great. Just a bit on the pricey side. They have no real closing time. It depends how busy it is. So we weren't able to plan to come back and try dessert or get another drink from the bar.
Beautiful location but bland food. Our server was great (though the hostess could NOT be bothered by our late-night-but-seated-before-closing presence). Our dinner company was top-notch, but a restaurant experience should also be about the food. We ordered some fish dishes, but it's not worth describing them. Why? I couldn't distinguish one from the other. I think one had some kind of balsamic thing, and another some other sauce-ish. But nothing worth writing home about. It sucks to have bad seafood in New England when you're -- literally -- dockside. I think we'll steer ourselves inland the next time we're seeking dinner.

This store is a replica of a farmhouse and is amazing. Very clean and organized. The Cafe is worth a visit ,great food and nice atmosphere. It can get busy here! The Cafe is one of kind and make you feel like you are somewhere else and not right off right 1. Has a true vacation feel about it. A Must Visit. The products are pricey but worth it for the quality.
Really wanted to give 4 1/2 stars. We attended a demonstration cooking class while on vacation. The emphasis was not on portion size and could have been slightly bigger for the price, but it was still an interesting experience, informative and well-done.
Coming to this area from culinary nirvana (San Francisco Bay Area), we've kept our eyes and noses open for culinary delights that we could not get in our old home town. Stonewall fits the bill. We've purchased (and tasted) numerous Stonewall products. They came in handy for this past Christmas. I particularly like their Holiday Jam and their Wild Blueberry Jam. Additionally, their marmalade are unusual (and quite good). I died and went to heaven with their chocolate peanut butter sauce. The feature of Stonewall that take the proverbial cake is their cafe at the Stonewall mother ship in York. I've eaten there twice and enjoyed it immensely. My partner is a connoisseur of grilled cheese sandwiches and he declared that their grilled three cheese sandwich with artichoke pesto is the best in the Universe. I enjoyed their unique take on chicken pot pie. Their coffee is goo, too, as are their desserts. This place reminded use of some of the small cafes we enjoyed in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. We look forward to sharing this place with our friends and family from the West Coast.

Solid option for Chinese and sushi. Much better quality than East.
It's rare that you find a gluten free Chinese food place, and one that takes it seriously. I had the general tsos chicken (gluten free) and it was amazing! I wish we had a place like this closer to where I lived! Looking forward to our next visit to the area so we can come back.
The food was delicious! The waitress did not speak very good English but we got through it. We would eat there again.
