It was pretty standard. The service was good, but food was lacking. The French onion soup had cheese on top, but it wasn't melted. It was like three slices of deli Swiss just put on top of my soup. Everything was just okay...nothing too special.

Knife was dirty and the waitress didn't bring back a fresh one. Steak was rare and fatty for a ribeye. Staff had to be told the clear dirty dishes. Manager took the raw steak off but generally not that great of a meal for my family.

Great menu. Surprisingly for a chain. Fillet excellent. Creative drinks. Good prices. Never heard of an Outback imploding but one did near herr. This place reopened and I for one am grateful.

Eh. Warm soggy lettuce in my Caesar. Baked potato had hard spots. Steaks were decent, but just don't justify the $20 price range. This is Outback level stuff with a higher price tag and equally cheesy western theme. Nice staff, but you've got better options in the mall area.

The hubby and I had a gift card here and decided to come this past Satrday night. We showed up before 5pm and were promptly seated. Our waiter introduced himself pretty quickly, and took our drink and appetizer order. That was the end of the speedy service for the night. It took about 20 minutes, but we had finally had our salads, bread, and app delivered, all within 5 minutes of each other. Another 25 minutes go by and we were finally getting our steaks. All of the food was decent, but nothing was incredible. Our server appeared quite new and unsure of himself, and was not very talkative. He was very to-the-point, but I like a slightly more friendly table-side manner. All in all, it was an ok dinner.

I ate here on a Saturday night. The wait was about a half an hour. My Husband and I sat at the bar why we waited for a table. We waited..and waited...and waited...and waited! As the bartenders walked on by and ignored us for about 15 minutes. There were dirty plates in front of us from the people who were there from before us. They didn't get picked up the whole time we waited the 15 minutes. My Husband waved at the bartenders for the entire 15 minutes. While, yet again, we were ignored. Finally, we got our drinks after some lame excuse of how "busy" they were. AHM..no! You were chit-chatting away with the customer at the end of the bar..and your other ignorant bartender could have cared less about any of the people at the bar..period. Luckily, the half an hour wait was only 15 minutes and we get called and she takes us about 5 steps back to a two seat table right in the bar. Where air conditioning is blowing in the middle of October. I have my jacket on and ask 3 times if they can shut it off why I'm shivering. I'm told they keep it at some ridiculous level and switch seats with my Husband and I'm still freezing my ass off. We order dinner and I'm just trying to rush it because I won't out of this igloo of a restaurant! We did ask to move. We were told we couldn't because it was too full. Anyway, to make a long story short. NO! We both order steak which was just alright nothing too fancy and high-tail it the hell out of ALASKA! We only came here because Texas Roadhouse down the street was an hour and a half wait..I bet you they had heat!!!!

Arrived at 5pm on Friday before Christmas. Lots of open tables but huge line. They appeared to be under staffed. Hostess could be more personable. I don't love chains but the food was very good. I had a 6oz filet medium rare. It was cooked perfectly and was a great cut of meat. I also had the Brie salad which was good. Service was solid. I would eat here again.

I'm not a fan of chain steakhouses, and as it goes, this one was just okay. When we advised the seating hostess that we needed a table for a party of six, not a booth, she seemed put out that she needed to do extra work. Our server was okay, but not spectacular. I got the shaved prime rib sandwich which was okay but messy. The garlic parmesan fries, however, were made of god. Honestly, I could have just eaten the seasoning and been content.

The bar tender that was working tonight was very helpful in making my to-go right! I really appreciate her help! Could if just given me a "no" and sent me on my way, but she did not. Even tho they were busy she did a great job! Kudos to Katie!!

I stopped in to try their chocolate stampede dessert which I had heard recommended. Simply put, I believe it may be the best dessert in Maine, and that's really saying something as there are some awesome desserts in Maine.

Not a big fan of chain restaurants but I gotta say the food was pretty good. Lots of choices on the gluten free menu. The service was very attentive. The portion size was huge. Steaks were cooked as requested, even the rare was rare! there are many options in this strip mall mecca and most are chains, give it a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Surprisingly good - both food and service and very busy. Had the lobster stuffed fillet...note that it isn't anything like the photo or advert, barely any lobster to speak of, but you could have cut the fillet with a fork it was so tender...but ultimately not worth the added cost for the lobster (or lack thereof).

The food here is what you'd expect nothing complicated just a chain steak house. A $20 steak taste fine unless you think your at Mortons. If you like cheap drinks, decent food, country music, free peanuts, antlers and cow heads this is your place.

YES this a chain by the mall and not an Old Port chic steakhouse. (Some may appreciate this) YES they have mass produced cheesy cowboy decor. (Some may not care) YES they only play pop country music. (Some may like this.) When I want a great steak that's in an unpretentious setting, this is where I go and have been going for years. I have tried all of the local chain-type and foodie places for steak, and in my opinion Longhorn does it best. The sides are pretty good, too.

I had a gift card, and decided to use it for a to-go steak dinner. The food was a solid; pretty much what you expect from a steak restaurant chain. I had a ribeye and loaded baked potato. It was exactly like the number of stars in this review, not amazing but not bad at all. I was also greeted with kind service during my time waiting for my order. The online ordering process was pretty easy. But the prices were so-so. $30 for a solo steak dinner isn't bad, but it's still kinda up there for my budget. This place isn't bad, especially if you're in South Portland. You can do better, but you could also do worse.

Generous portions, interesting menu items. My wife's burger was well done but not dry. My medium well burger was also well done (not dry at least). Cheesy Fries were spicy and cheesy all the way to the bottom of the bowl. Overall not a bad experience.

The one star is because I have to make it. I am absolutely disgusted with the service. I was part of a party of 8 and we stood at the bar for almost two and a half hours. The only thing they could say was we are sorry. They didn't even offer a free appetizer or even a free drink. I do not recommend this place. I would rather have a steak and cheese from subway...

Worst experience I've had in a while. Service was slow, the checks were constantly screwed up and we were here almost 3 hours. Additionally, we didn't see our server hardly at all.
