This review is long overdue, so my apologies to Beth. She and her able crew handled a family event for us well over a year ago and, without a doubt, this is one of the finest operations of its kind we have ever used. First things first: The food... The food is Exceptional - in addition to being creative and well presented. Secondly, the entire staff were smart, personable, Conscious and just plain fun. They have one goal in mind and that's to 'take care of the client' - they make it happen. And when they leave things are just as clean as when they arrived. It's a nice feeling to know that all you have to do is just enjoy your guests and everything else is taken care of behind the scenes, quietly and professionally. We'll definitely be working together again. (AB)

Working in the film and commercial photography business in Portland for the last few years, I have the pleasure of enjoying some great catering. That's a tough business to get food to a location and still have it be tasty. A hard working crew needs good food to keep them happy and energized. A MOveable Feast was once one of those companies, but since the original owner has left, this company falls well short of the minimums for decent food. First off, "most" hard working crews look forward to meat. They just do. Yes, there is always a vegetarian, and of course don't forget the gluten free (though you OFTEN forget the gluten free!) So, serving americanized asian dishes with spaghetti pasta and a peanut sauce that seems like it was poured from a jar of Jiff that has sat on a hot dashboard, along with 3 salads (all with balsamic dressing) is not good. You need to show up on time, not 45 minutes late for breakfast. Breakfast sandwiches should not be like soggy english muffins that have been steaming in aluminum foil at the gas station hot dog counter. Yes, you seem to have the budget rate, but as someone that has to eat your food all to often, I ask that you step up your game. Even gigs with a tight budget will step up to keep a crew happy and motivated. It is good for production. It takes a lot to get me to yelp.
