Had a great 2 day stay here. The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean and well-kept. Our room was very nice with a super nice bathroom. This place has great amenities for Kennebunkport with a beach pass, free bikes, beach towels and chairs! One of the best parts about this Inn is the location, you are right by some of the best restaurants in KBP. So nice, I will definitely be visiting again.

I can't lie. It doesn't get better. The interiors of this place are gorgeous. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone. Everything is walking distance. Plenty of free parking.

A perfect place to spend a weekend getaway. Comfortable, clean rooms; five star dining; accommodating staff: evening entertainment and a awesome location right in the heart of Kennebunkport . Make a reservation. You'll be glad you did. P.S. A walk over to David's KPT for breakfast and/or dinner is a true culinary treat. Enjoy!

Our stay at Kennebunkport Inn was fantastic and I'm glad we made this choice. The first thing to mention about this inn is the location. It is located right in the heart of everything in Kennebunkport. All the nice shops, restaurants, and meeting points are easily within walking distance. It's perfect. Having a place to leave my car in the center of town is incredible, however the parking lot isn't the best. You can't expect a sprawling lot with a location like this, but if the hotel is fully booked then there is a car for every spot. One bad parking job and you're out of luck. Thankfully we only lost the game of musical chairs once during our stay. The staff seem willing to help if that happens. The room was very nice. It was small but perfectly serviceable. The bathroom was large and had a large shower with room for two. Everything was nice and clean. The air conditioner was a wall unit so it makes some noise. The property was very nicely decorated and well kept. Our room was painted in a deep chocolate color. The staff at the front desk were able to provide us with beach towels, folding chairs, and a beach permit to use. We took advantage and had an enjoyable beach day. They also have bicycles available, which is something we were looking for. In addition to being right next to several restaurants and cafes, the inn hosts a restaurant. We didn't eat there, but everyone we spoke to raved about the food. There is also a full bar, but it closes at around 9:30. There is no night life in Kennebunkport. However they do feature a beautiful deck with comfy chairs, some tables, and a fire place. It's a great place to relax at night and maybe chat with other guests. They offer a complimentary continental breakfast at the bar in the morning. I found it to be underwhelming at best. My experience from overhearing other guests is that they either leave hungry and go out to breakfast, or skip it completely after the first day. It was toast, English muffins, and mini-bagels with no cream cheese. There were some hand fruits in a bowl, some yogurt, and scones. They had coffee and juice. It's obviously better than nothing, but I usually expect more from this kind of inn. Honestly, I would prefer to pay $8.99 for a more complete buffet. There is a french bakery two blocks away and an organic-looking cafe literally a few steps to the left from the front door. Try those instead. Overall I definitely recommend the Kennebunkport Inn and I will probably be going back in the future.

Perfect location. Right in the heart of downtown Kennebunkport within easy walking distance to all the charming shops and yummy restaurants. Our room was large and well decorated with classic nautical colors. This combined with the plentiful water views the just shouted Maine coastal comfort to us. Amenities included:complimentary bottled water,in room coffee, and a nice chair for reading. The bed was very comfortable and we slept the night through, with no noisy disturbances. The staff were friendly and helpful, as a bonus there was a nice restaurant with bar right on premise. What more could you ask for.

We arrived after check in time (8pm) & found our way to our room...which was extremely roomy, clean, included crisp decor, a king size bed, and a gas fire place. The location is perfect- it's right in the center of downtown. (Side note: Google maps told us it was in the middle of the harbor, which is just outside.) Searching for the icemaker brought back thoughts of...The Shining...long corridors...AND entailed going outside. Seriously! Otherwise, the staff was really helpful, & we'd definitely come back!

Good amenities. Adult only pool is actually at the old fort inn so don't go to the cape arundel inn because reception is rude. Checked out the pool at lodge on the cove which was swarming with little screaming kids. Drinks were good and games were fun but couldn't stay long otherwise I'd get a headache. Beach cruisers and parking is easy. Our last night here though, they shut off the cable and didn't inform us that prior to our stay. They blamed it on the service although the night before our service was perfectly fine. I'm pretty easy going but when I'm exhausted from a long bike ride and just want a lazy night in my ~200/night room (off season)... I'd like to watch anything I want... Anyways.. Free breakfast is decent. No proteins so don't expect any eggs or meat although they do have little packets of peanut. Overall I might come back for the location but I know there are several other options around.

Had wonderful stay. The inn is comfortable and a bit quaint. Downtown location is convenient for shopping and dining. The bar seemed to be the local gathering spot and local musicians encouraged those so inclined to jump in. The whole place radiated the cheerful energy coming from the bar. The music shut down about 9:30 (week night) so it didn't interfere with a good nights rest. Breakfast was the standard muffins and fruit, which was just fine since one tends to overeat on vacation anyway. Will stay again on our next visit.

We recently stayed here and found it very pleasant. The room we had was small, but clean and cozy, just what I would have expected. The front desk was very friendly . We were very happy with the breakfast in the morning. The location was perfect because it included parking for our car and we could walk to all of the places we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay here again.

Kennebunkport Inn is perfectly located. Seriously. Right in the thick of it and in walking distance to everything. Parking right on the premises, bicycles available for use, gorgeous decor with Ralph Lauren wallpapers, crisp coastal accents and amazing attention to detail. We stayed in Room 238. The room decor seemed to have been lightly updated during the renovation 2 years ago. New wallpaper, coordinating window treatments, a Keurig machine and iPod dock alarm clock. Sadly, our bathroom seemed to have been forgotten during the updates...pink walls, ivy stenciled border, wall trim in rough shape. The continental breakfast is decent, with cereals, scrambled eggs, muffins, coffee, fruit. Upon checkout we were even given a little package with waters and saltwater taffy for our trip home. Overall, I was delighted by the Inn and any faults of the room were merely cosmetic and were made up for by the quality of the communal spaces. That fireplace on the back deck was great! The staff were very friendly and they had even accommodated my husband when he wanted to arrange to have flowers in our room when we arrived.

Our recent stay was perfect. Great location, small but well done rooms. The front staff ( Michael ) was great in advising us things to do and restaurants. Would come back for sure.

Another great stay at the Kennebunkport Inn, the people that work there are so kind and accommodating. We love staying there because of the accessibility to shops and restaurants. We will be back!

We got a great deal on this place, because we went in the off season for a three day weekend. Apparently it can get to about 500/a night during the high season..we paid about 95. The staff was exceptionally friendly, besides the bartenders. The bartenders were a bit curt and the bar was not fully stocked by any means. The cocktails were watered down but still tasty. We stayed in room 103..there was an issue with the bathroom's cleanliness when we first checked in. My boyfriend spoke to the front desk and they were extremely apologetic and offered us a free drink. The breakfast was "continental deluxe" , it was very good and the morning staff was very kind. Overall a nice place to stay.

My husband found about this Inn online and booked a room to celebrate our anniversary. I was both impressed and disappointed at the same time. The pros: The staff is friendly - we were greeted promptly and the desk clerk was pleasant. The lobby is quaint with a red-white & blue theme that was freshly done The place is very clean and the room was quite clean The location is nice - being in the heart of the village and the village is quaint and lovely The cons: The room (224) was the smallest room I ever stayed in. Ecconolodge has bigger rooms- not exaggerating. There were two built-ins on either side of the bed yet neither had a full closet. Hanging my coat in one and it still was dragging on the bottom of it. Forget hanging a dress or a pair of pants in it. It wouldn't work. Further there was no space in which to put your luggage away- leaving you with no choice but to have it taking up space in an already small space. The room was about 13x13 max. It was enough room for the queen bed and a chair. But not my suitcase. We went off season- February. And the max temperature in the room was 68 and that is after we asked the staff to do something about it. Before that it was 65. The bathroom floor was so cold we had to lay towels over it. I think I came down with a cold because of the coldness of the place. I left with a sore throat and feeling chilled to the bone. The only time I was warm during my stay was when I was in my vehicle. We ate at the restaurant. DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!! We chose the rib eye steak. It was a half inch thick frozen charbroiled and over salted. The sides I chose were the creamed corn (was more like corn chowder) and the potatoes au gratin. Both were cold and the potatoes were not cooked. The fact that they charged $30 for this steak was like being robbed without a gun. You can find a better steak at a franchise restaurant. There were two other couples there besides us so I can't say that it was because they were busy. Like I said impressed and disappointed. I would not recommend this Inn nor would I stay here again.

I stayed here for a night recently and it was a a fairly good experience. The pros: - Right in downtown Kennebunkport! Steps to shops and restaurants. - Friendly service - Parking included and convenient - Open, bright room (we were in a Wharf room) The cons: - Our simple room was pretty expensive ($250 during the high season) - There was a strange smell in our building hallway, maybe mildewy carpets The included breakfast was nothing special, just the typical buffet with bagels, hash browns, sausage, granola, coffee, etc. but it's nice to have available so you can start the day with food in your belly. I'm on the fence on whether or not I'll come here again. $250 is a lot to spend on a basic room in a funky smelling building. At least the room itself didn't smell. It might be worth it when it isn't high-season and the prices are lower.

The Kennebunkport Inn offered a mixed experience. I almost feel like writing two reviews for two different experiences. First, the hotel and its location are really charming, but its hard to go wrong in that department with a beautiful old hotel on the water in a port town. We stayed in KB for five nights total at two separate times. Our first visit, we stayed on the first floor in room 222, which faced a very small courtyard/small backyard in the back. The room was kind of worn, threadbare and more than a little dated (in an 80's plaids and florals kinda way), but I appreciate that it is an expensive town and you take what you can get. It was also very small and the bed wasn't the greatest. All this I could have overlooked because it was otherwise clean and the amenities are solid. However...the courtyard that we faced was behind the pool, and they were doing some work on the pool deck so the courtyard was strewn with work equipment...wheelbarrows, tools, buckets, boards, bricks and plastic tarps. It was really, really ghetto. So when we left and they asked how our stay was, we were honest. (I don't know that we used the word "ghetto" ...but we got our point across.) So we came back the next week and were put in room 227. This room was considerably larger, more tastefully decorated (or at least solidly victorian), unworn, with hardwood floors and a lovely view of the port. Very comfortable, supportive bed with a pillowtop. I imagine we got an upgrade in terms of the level of room (we had ordered the cheapest) due to our complaints. We also got two free drinks at the bar, and (did I mention?) this town isn't cheap, so that was like $15. So-they certainly made up for the courtyard the first time around. So- the rest of the place. The breakfast buffet was just fine...I would have liked more high-protein non-meat options...but I know I'm being picky there. We didn't eat in the restaurant for dinner. The bar was very cool...very vintage with wood paneling and high-backed seats. Saturday nights are a treat at the bar...a local woman does live piano and showtunes and she is NOT to be missed. . I also didn't have the experience of most of the guests being over 70...over 40, perhaps. Maybe its the time of year. There were a fair number of older guests but hey, this is the Walker family town. You can expect some crusty conservatives here. Our first experience was a 2. Our second was a four. So- three stars.

Cute little inn right in the heart of Kennebunkport. The room was comfy and clean. It wasn't over the top with amenities and the bathroom was tiny, but I liked it and would visit here again.

This inn is in center of everything. Convenient location. Rooms are clean and free wifi and breakfast. The drawback was at 6:30am we were woken up by delivery trucks and construction. We stayed in the building extension beside the candyman and coffee shops.

There are some great coffee table books in the lobby and a piano bar too. The food pretty good but I only had a chance to try a small amount of the items. The wi-fi here was not working very well during my stay. There was a good chance it was beyond their control as there was poor service at other hotspots in the area, along with very slow connections due to it being the height of tourist season and that many places use unsecured connections. They said they will check with their IT person about securing theirs with a password so only guests can use it. Comfortable beds, small bathroom, no refrigerator in my room (not known of other rooms may have it), bedside table had a clock radio with what looks like an iPod dock. The staff were some of the most courteous I've encountered at any Inn or Hotel for quite sometime. I will definitely consider returning if I am in the neighborhood.

My lack of desire to leave a poetic review of this inn is indicative of the impression it left on me. It was ok, service was friendly but nothing like you'd get at a B&B. Price of $159/night was reasonable but the rooms were tired, beds very old and the whole room creaky. Quaint and great location to the rest of town but parking was tough and the overall stay was just OK.

We stayed here from Friday 11/7 to Sunday 11/9 and it was a great experience. The room was a little tiny, but that was ok. The bed was comfortable and the people were very nice. The hallways smelled like apple cider....really nothing like a retirement center as noted. The construction mentioned was apparently done and the grounds were lovely. We had a dinner included as part of our package and it was OUTSTANDING. The food was incredible...and I'm a tough critic. I had a lazy man's lobster, the fiance had a steak and both were melt-in-your-mouth fantastic. The chocolate lava cake dessert was a dream. Really..I can not say enough good things about their food. We also both got hour long massages which were SO great. The girl was perfect, asked good questions beforehand (I didn't want my face done, she complied) and the whole experience was relaxing. The entertainment at the lounge was also very nice. Piano players sang the classics and it was a very laid back, enjoyable time. I'd go back the Kennebunkport Inn in a heartbeat!

I wanted to like Kennebunkport Inn.... But I wasn't really lovin' it. Between the smell in the hallways that reminds you of your grandma's retirement center, the ballerina-pink walls, the too-small-shower,the tired furniture and the two-twin-beds-pushed-together = king bed I personally hate flowery, cheesy, hotels, so call me biased. Upon spending a bit more time at the Inn, I realized most guets were in the 70+ crowd, and they seemed to be having a ball. So maybe it just wasn't my cup of tea. And for $199/night, I'm definitely not returning

Good place, super nice people, the TV was small, but the room was good, the restaurant had great food, the breakfast is real good, the pool is decent, the location is the best part, walk to all the shopping, ride your bike to any beach, goose rocks etc... Good times. Will stay here again if I go to Kennebunkport
