Great diner atmosphere in a convenient location just off the road. Fast and friendly service, good coffee, good hash browns. If you're looking for an authentic diner experience in Maine, this does the trick.

We have breakfast here almost every other Sunday. I haven't had a bad plate yet. Its nothing fancy and definitely no frills. It has a very small town feel as the wait staff walk around with pots of coffee asking if you need a 'warm up'.

I decided to give this place another chance today. My two friends and I sit down and we sit for over 10 mins without the waitress saying anything to us. Two sets of customers come in after us and she gives them menus and coffee. We got up and walked out. Saying pay attention next time, felt like since I'm not a local I'm ignored here. Sucked two years ago still sucks today. Dont go here. Should close its doors it discriminated me.

We stopped by last Sunday on our way back from Old Orchard Beach. This is your basic blue-collar breakfast and lunch place. My wife and I thought the food and the service was good. I had biscuits with sausage gravy and my wife had a cheeseburger club.

Stopped in for breakfast around 11 oclock 39minutes later my breakfast sandwich and omelette are not in front of me. The place has 5 people in it. What are they waiting for chickens to lay the eggs? Definitely won't come here again.

We stopped here after antiquing and had great friendly service and my turkey club was delicious! My friend also loved her pancakes. We were one of only three tables eating at the time, so I can't say how the service would be if it were busy. I'd definitely go back!

The sign in front says "Arundel Diner", but on the side of the building and on the coffee mugs it says "Jack and Renee's". There are a lot of bikes and pickup trucks in the parking lot and most of the people here seem to be regulars. It's a casual place, most of the people looked to be over 40 and the guy's t-shirts usually had Harley logos or had something to say about beer or fishing. I don't mean this in a bad way, but my t-shirt was from a high tech trade show and was way off-topic. We dropped in for breakfast and did okay. The food and service were both good but the coffee was so bad that next time I might walk in with a cup of coffee from somewhere else. In fact, if you bring your own coffee or don't drink it, make this a four star dining experience. A cool thing about Jack and Renee's is that if you have breakfast on a Sunday in the summer, you can walk across the street to the flea market and the antiques stores, which are more like flea markets than antique stores. Tourists from other countries who are in the area should come here just to get a look at local life. It's good stuff and worth a look.
