Service was horrible we didn't get our food for a good hour and a half. We had a total of 2 waitresses and neither one knew what was going on. Food wasn't worth the wait.

Horrible service. Ordered a lobster roll and a salad. After waiting for 45 minutes we told the waitress to cancel our order and we walked out. The wait staff seemed stressed and overworked. The cooks were swearing up a storm during our wait. I really don't think they realize that there is an opening between the kitchen and the bar. I enjoyed my Coke though. Entertaining night I guess. Avoid this restaurant. There are so many better choices in Camden. Try Cappy's Chowder House right down the street. I went there after leaving Cuzzy's and had a great bowl of chowder with an attentive server.

Have to agree with the other reviewer as to the lack of staff. We seated ourselves as the sign advertised and waited...and waited. The waitress shot us glances almost seemingly annoyed that we made her day busier than it already was. After 15 or 20 minutes we were given water and menus and then waited again. Another 10 minutes or so passed when she came over and said the kitchen was slammed so if we wanted food it would be at least an hour. Food may be good but we'll never know. We walked out never to return again.

If I could give less than one star, I would. This place is unbelievably bad. Enough said.

I am reviewing Cuzzy's only as a bar, as I am never had the food, but I have spent quite a bit of time in the upstairs bar! Cuzzy's is THE dive bar of Camden. If you're looking for local color this is the place! The drinks are cheap and strong, and they have a pool table, darts, ring toss, and ping pong. Twice a week karaoke is always amusing! This is the main haunt of locals, particularly those who work in area restaurants, as well as sailors, and kids who went to college in the area visiting home. Out on the back porch (where you can smoke... anything) you are sure to overhear some crazy conversations and meet a few interesting people! Three stars because the bartenders can be a bit rude and the bathroom is a little terrifying, but this is a solid dive with a lot of character.

I wouldn't rate this place a 1-2 for sure, was tempted to give them a 4 just to counteract the other bad reviews. The clam chowder was 5 star worthy, it was definitely one of the best I've had. I also ordered a burger, medium, but it was served medium-well. Otherwise, it was pretty good. The service was good- friendly and prompt. I would have liked the place to be a bit cleaner though. The cloth napkins needed upgrading, they were clearly washed/sanitary but old stains on them. The floor/carpeting also looked fairly beat. The prices were definitely fair. I'd eat lunch here again, I just wasn't impressed (other than the chowder).

There are a few great restaurants in the area but since I was in a rush and forgot to make a reservation at any of them... I decided to make a stop at Cuzzy's. Management must be trying to cut back costs as the lone waitress was running around the restaurant frantically trying to do a lot of nothing. Our group ended up seating ourselves, no utensils, no water.. just waiting to be noticed. When we were finally noticed... we were informed that the fryer was broken and that half the items on the menu were not available. Good for me.. I had my fix during lunch (see my Red's Eats review). I was tired and cranky but more tired than cranky. I ordered some comfort food. Half a rack of ribs with some bar harbor blueberry soda. The ribs were done really well. The meat fell off the bone and it had just the right amt of spicy and sauce. The thin crust pizza was also very popular. There was a lot to be desired by the end of the meal but I have to say the food was decent. A 2 star establishment with 4 star food. If you end up like me wandering the streets of Camden without a dinner reservation.. you can at least know you can fall back on Cuzzy's without having to starve.

I usually give a higher ranking to places with great food and excellent service, but "Scuzzy's" gets a solid two stars solely due to the clientele. In the course of 45 minutes, I had two separate drunk townies try to pick fights. But even douchebags couldn't ruin an awesome burger!

Service was nothing special and the atmosphere could definitely been more upbeat. I had chef's favorite fries for a starter and a margherita pizza for an entree. The fries were good, however, the pizza was not. The pizza did not have enough sauce or toppings. Why go cheap on the sauce? I had to go up to the main bar and request a check, that pretty much sums it up. Overall not a good experience.

We were passing through looking for a local place that wasn't too pricey and we were happy to have found Cuzzy's. Our server was so sweet, friendly and gave us great service. Everything was really good, we had calamari for an app, clam chowder and fish and chips and it was all tasty! If your in Camden check them out!

We went here after trying Fresh, which had a three-year wait...it was unpretentious food--i had a kale, broccoli pizza with grilled chicken that was tasty. The side salad was big and had plenty of sliced onion and peppers. My dad had a beer-battered haddock that was tasty, and my mom liked the burger. The guys waiting on us were very friendly and attentive. It was a lowkey, tasty dinner. Nothing fancy, or expensive.

I have no idea why this place has less than 4 stars - we were in Camden for the week and enjoyed a great lunch here. it's pub like food was a great change for us. we came back for drinks another night as well. wait staff was friendly, locals and out of town folks all seemed happy with their meals, and we certainly enjoyed our lunch. we had a mix of appetizers, incredibly fresh salads, and I enjoyed the chowder - all delicious and filling - drinks specials were fantastic and the atmosphere, comfortable.

Wife and I ate dinner here a couple nights ago. She had a very good burger, tender and juicy even though she had it medium well. I had a lobster quesadilla that was kick-ass. Good friendly service at the bar, where we sat. If I find myself back in this pretentious little town again for any reason, this will be where I eat and drink.

I just had the most awkward experience at this place. Came in with my boyfriend looking for pizza and maybe have a few drinks but we were told by the hostess/waitress that if we came in we had to wait 15 minutes for the food because the kitchen was backed up and she wanted to give them a break. We were so confused because we had never heard something like this before at any other restaurant. They were not even full. I guess my money is not welcome here... Oh well

We've been coming to camden for years but only recently tried Cuzzy's. We were super happy to discover they had excellent pub style food. The burgers, salad, and chowder were all excellent. For some reason this place is not as popular as Cappy's which is just down the street. This place is less expensive and the food is far better quality.

My husband and I went to Camden for our anniversary and we ate here both days we stayed. The bartenders and waitresses were awesome, very nice and had a sense of humor... Which was nice for a change considering 99% of the Camden population we encountered were snobby and acted as if they were above others in some way. We don't drink but found that even though this is a bar, the food was fantastic and company was cool. If you get the chance, grab the burgers or brat dinner. :)
