I was just there recently. I guess it was an off day. The wait staff was amazing the owners were very nice greeting people as they walked through the door and the good was amazing as it always is. I have never had a bad meal there since they have been open. The one thing I do agree with is the good quality isn't the same, it's better than ever... There are other local places to go to; however they just don't compare...

Joyce and I have had the pleasure of eating here six to eight times. it has always been great. Wait service is friendly and attentive. The food is awesome. The price is cheap. I strongly recommend you take the trip to one of the areas best kept secrets.

Unfortunately our last visit was much better than this weekend's. We were seated quickly and our waitress showed up promptly, however it took a while to get our drinks. My iced tea came without a straw so I had to go to the bar to get one. We then received a yummy basket of warm bread...with no butter. It was my boyfriend's turn to go retrieve something she didn't bring us so he went to the bar and got butter. Next, his side salad was delivered with a white creamy dressing, not the Italian he had ordered. Good thing he likes ranch. His meatloaf (that he had ordered last time) was a tad gooey for his liking and was missing mushrooms. My chicken parm tasted like store bought spaghetti sauce, but the actual chicken was tasty. As we got our bill the waitress never asked if my boyfriend was a father like the other waitresses asked their customers, as they were doing a raffle for Father's Day. I made a point to go back to the bar as we left and asked for a ticket. Not every man is a Father but since everyone else was asked, he could have been too, and actually was. The actual restaurant is adorable and clean. Our waitress was friendly just a bit forgetful. Will go back but order differently.

Stopped in for lunch. Clean and inviting as always. Today I had the new Chicken Caprese sandwich- YUM! Homemade chips were delightful as well. Then I tried their Coronarita - yes a day ahead of Cinco de Mayo- it was fabulous and priced right! Still love the Back Burner as always. Service is great, food good and comfy place where you can feel at home.

I once posted a scathing review of this restaurant which I felt applied at the time. However, since then I have returned to the restaurant many times and I feel the situation has changed and therefore my review should change. Over the past year or so since my review I have found that the restaurant has improved its image, its service and its approach to the customer. When I go, people are smiling and having fun, the food is reasonably priced and reasonably good. I plan to go back in the future and I hope others will try it as well. The steak tips are particularly good, as is the meatloaf. There are some regular waitresses who are unfailingly cheerful and sweet and the service is good. I hope you will give it a try.

My husband Nick and I have been going to The Back Burner for years. We especially love to go there on a Thursday evening for Trivia. The staff are friendly and the service is great. The owners Doug and Kate can be seen there regularly helping out and making sure that things are running smoothly. They have a full bar and a great selection of beer on tap. One of my favorite sandwiches to order is the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, the spice is just right and I always eat every bite. My husband Nick loves comfort food, so he usually will order a Turkey or Roast beef dinner complete with all the fixings. I definitely recommend checking this place out, you won't be disappointed.

Decent food, decent prices. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The complimentary bread they bring to the table is quite good-- corn bread, banana bread, Italian. My only complaint is that as a vegetarian I'm very limited as to what I can eat here.
