I am so glad we ignored the reviews and went here for dinner tonight! I usually do not do chain restaurants. I like a nice meal and better than I'm going to cook at home. And I like to support small business being a small business myself. We are staying in the Augusta area for a show at the civic center and there's not a lot of choices if your not into fast food. We arrived and was told about a five minute wait. It was less than that when our buzzer made us jump :) our waiter, Nick, touched base with us as soon as we were seated and took our drinks. Funny, upbeat and very nice. The young man serving the table across from us was the same way with his table. Attentive and answered many questions for the couple. We had a glass of wine and beer and started with fried green tomatoes. They were hot and crispy and topped with goat cheese and a chipotle sauce that was very good. We both got steaks, moms was the Parmesan crusted with loaded baked potato and I got the roasted garlic and jalapeño topped steak. We both ordered med rare. When the waiter assistant came out with our meal they were both the parmesan crusted. He apologized and took it right back to the kitchen. It was just a few minutes and he was back with my steak. In the mean time our waiter checked in and was very upset with his error, he said he wrote jalapeño streak for me but must have punch it wrong on the order board. Kudos to him for not throwing the kitchen under the bus! We were not concerned. The meal and service was excellent. The steaks were done perfectly. I think this might be the first true med rare that was done to my standards at home. Nice sear, great flavor and tender. I do not usually write reviews. But in this case it was warranted. I will go back. I feel a 4.5 might be a great star rating, I have a hard time giving five stars to a chain restaurant lol but we were so pleasantly surprised and enjoyed to food so much, in this case it fits!

Carded for ordering a glass of wine with lunch. I insisted that I was over 21 but server, Katie, wouldn't budge. Whatever happened to the customer being right? Anyways, meal and service were great. Ordered the soup and salad lunch special. Salad was fresh with dressing on the side, as ordered. French onion soup was very good, extra cheesy. I'd give the food and service here at least 4 stars, which is in line with the other locations I've been to.

A dead in the eyes waitress served us watery Margaritas and salty, over-seasoned steak. We were wanting to order more drinks but she never bothered to ask if we wanted anything else before bringing the check. Terrible service, terrible food.

Eleventy bazillion times better than Texas Roadhouse. Went with two of my co-workers after work one night. Was surprisingly empty, which resulted in pretty quick service. Food was decent. +0.5 for volunteering to split the checks for us; and +0.5 for the waitress pretending to not know whose credit card was whose, despite my incredibly asian name and appearance. Not that I'd care if it did happen, but the gesture was pretty funny.

This was the most awful steak house i have ever been to. It was expensive, bad service, and terrible food, all put together with a long wait. I went in thinking it would be like the texas roadhouse but it failed misreably

Food is okay here, service is a little slow. But it's what you expect from a low scale chain restaurant. Being a steak house, you'd expect them to be able to cook a steak, however, they are consistently off temperature by one level. Order 1 lower than you want. I assume they aren't accounting for resting the steak under the heat lamps prior to service. The sweet chilli calamari are pretty much our favorite appetizer. Also, there is no WiFi.

Used to this chain steak house. I eat there often but my first time in Augusta. I was alone as usual so I sat at the bar for diner. Did not get a good feeling when i sat to this sticky filthy bar top. Could use cleaning once in a while. Very slow Night not many patrons but the waitress seemed chaotic lime she was in a big rush. I asked for a Guiness which I had to point out yo her in the fridge cause she had no idea :-/. Salad got here.... No silverware... WTF. Did not see this for another 10 minutes.... Then she says " oh !!! I keep doing that " duhhhhh. Steak gets here 30 seconds later. Cold bizarre looking overcooked. At this point i had emough to review. The waitress is signing and acting really weird ... Kinda embarrassing

WORST SERVICE EVER. I had an awful watery strawberry daiquiri. It was a big mess. We waited 10 minutes before our waitress even greeted us and took our drink order. Our waitress was very impersonal, and didn't have much to say. We waited 40 minutes for our food without our waitress checking up on us. 40 minutes without a glass of water or a simple "how are things going?" All the hostesses were gabbing in the front. I got the French onion soup because that is my specialty... IT WAS AWFUL! The bread/ croutons were like gelatin. I felt as if I was eating snot with onions in a chicken broth... CHICKEN there is no way that was sirloin broth. It tasted like those broth cubes you would place in hot water. Very watery and tasteless. The cheese on top was hardly melted and impossible to eat without choking or having to pull out of your mouth. I actually had to remove the cheese because it was solidifying. This place always has horrible service. I am unsure why I even came back. If you have a couple hours to waste, and you want really slow service, this is the place. I won't be back.

I went there and ordered a burger. I asked to have it cooked medium. It came back well done, dry, and hard as a hockey puck. The lettuce on the burger was brown around the edges, and the fries were over cooked. The service also left much to be desired. I was very surprised. The Longhorn in Auburn is very good. I guess if I want to go to a Longhorn I will have to travel to Auburn because I will never go to the Augusta one again.

Bad service, all the way around. Three of us came in for a "quick" lunch this afternoon on our lunch break at 11:48. All three of us ordered French Onion soup and salad...couldn't have been easier for a restaurant to get done quickly. By 12:25 the waiter came back to let us know that there was a lack of cranberries for the salads, and to ask us if we were ok with that. (Incidentally, the waiter never came back to check on our beverage status in the 30+ minutes it took him to find out about the cranberry shortage in the kitchen.) We informed him that we were fine sans cranberry. The waiter never addressed or apologized for the wait. At 12:36, after no sign of our lunch, I approached the seating host and asked to speak to a manager. I briefly and kindly explained that it had been 45 minutes since ordering our soup and salads, and we had yet to receive them. He apologized and said that he would send him right over...apparently the manager was on salad time, as we did not see him for another 10 minutes. In the meantime, a young woman arrived from the kitchen with an arm-load of plates. "Who's got the chicken without the Brie?" I was asked without smile, greeting, or eye contact. I informed her that we all ordered soup and salad, and that the order she had was partially incorrect. Rather than leaving the correct items, she brought the entire arm-load back to the kitchen. At this point, we needed to go. Not just because our lunch hour was almost up...we wanted to stay classy. Our waiter approached our table, crouched down and asked, "Who didn't want the Brie?" Seeing my sister pull her index finger back to herself after she reflexively thrust it out in frustration toward his face signaled us that it was time to go. The waiter tried to assure us that in two minutes he could have our order for us, but alas, the finger had flown. We told him that we needed to leave. At this point, a very delicate man in a blue shirt appeared at our table. I never found out who he was, as he never stated anything other than a diminutive apology and asked if he could get us something to go. We informed him that he couldn't. As we were walking out, a man wearing a dirty sweatshirt came up to us, apologized for the issues, grabbed a business card, (which he told us was not in fact his) and illegibly scribbled what appeared to be a number 3 and something that could have been the word salad on the back. He told us to please come back and we would get three salads on the house...he forgot about the soup. Thank Goodness for Damons!
