I had the nachos tonight they were horrible. The manger did take them off my ticket, but of course not until I ordered something else. Which I ordered the boneless wings and they weren't all that great either with fries which were not good either!!! Just a bad experience with their food tonight!!!

This pace is a joke. I don't know who would waste their time here. So please before you think about don't. The staff is rude , not around keep you waiting. None the less they don't even check back on you. Can you say attitude.... Oh boi. No wonder this place is empty. So please if you like great service head over to BWW ( BUFFALO WILD WINGS) SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!

OK, this place is under new management. I've been here before and visited again on Friday, December 20th, 2013. I sat at the bar and was promptly asked what I wanted by the pretty, nice bartender (I think this is what brings in the men patrons, as that is who were mostly there, lol :-) . I asked for a Margarita and wow, it was strong....just how I like it! I ordered the egg rolls and gumbo. The egg rolls were delicious but the gumbo was a bit too salty. But all in all, they are doing something right and hopefully their clientele continues to increase. I'll be returning and would recommend. :-)

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. It's one redeeming quality is that the Mac and cheese is good. However, the wings are soggy. Not crispy or crunchy at all. Additionally, I came in at 7pm on a Friday. Still dinner in my eyes, however, the place was pretty much a club. I couldn't talk to the people I was with the music was so loud. Service was so so. Food came out correct and speedy. Drinks took forever and forget about refills. Unless you want to go to a club and get no drinks then I would not go here!

Tried this place three times and every time they disappointed. I will not return. This time I ordered the "combo catch" when I arrived to pick it up, I was initially told I could not use the restaurant.com coupon for take out. I informed her that it did not specify and I had once before she went to ask her supervisor. I sat and waited until he arrived with my food and check. They honored the coupon. When I got home I was again unhappy, 8 little shrimp and I e small catfish filet with a tiny side of slaw and Texas toast with a side if red beans and rice. Regular price $17.99. Glad I had the coupon because it was sparse.

I like Wow becasue its a local spot. Not too far from home, the dj' s are on point! A good plac eto go hand hear good music , they have bands there too on fridays and Saturdays. They food, decent at best, good for bar food. Im not gonna call out the whole wait staff but the one we had was not on her A game. I asked for sauce on the side for my wings, we they came they were tossed in it. She never brought out the water I asked for, she told my husband they didnt have sliders but then shortly after, we saw another waitress taking some to another table. She told they didint have any mustard, mustard.... at a restaurant. ?.. instresting. Then when we were ready to pay our bill of $37 my husband gave her $60, she asked if he wanted change back. ?. Uhh, yeah. Now you would think that a smart waitress would break that 20 so they could get a tip. Not this one, she brought back a 20 dollar bill and 3 ones. So guess what her tip was?

Sometimes people can try their best and be very well intentioned and still fail miserably in the food service industry. -very few patrons in the restraunt. - it took more then 10 mins to place a drink order after being seated by the server. -time from walking in the door to receive said drinks 25 mins -no beef which meant no burgers(yes I understand we are in a wing place but it's on the menu) -server comes to tell us that they are out of something that we didn't order, odds of food coming out correctly are starting to lower. - maybe it's me or maybe you have to ask for salt on the rim of margaritas now a days. -update1 my order is not correct. 10 plain wings with sauce on the side becomes 10 wings with 1 of the 2 ordered sauces. This visit was a bust, lunch time visits are much better, I think I will stick to lunch and early happy hour.

Years ago, I was a regular at the WoW in Largo... then it shut down. Waldorf is a 40 minute hike for me, so I've only been there twice: once for brunch, once for happy hour. One thing I've always liked about their happy hour is the fact that it has always been longer than most other places (2:00 - 10:00 during the week, 2:00 - 8:00 on weekends). They also have the strongest drinks out of anywhere I have ever been to, and for a great price (are they still $4?). The Paradise City (Thai Chili) wings and the grilled shrimp w/ raspberry sauce are my usual food choices. During brunch, I enjoyed everything but the sausage patties. They were like paper, literally. There was also supposed to be live jazz music... where was it? The radio itself was even hardly on, but it's okay. My friends and the food itself occupied me enough to not miss it too much. I do not have much else to add... OH. Go on a Wednesday evening. Karaoke is a blast!!!

My husband wanted to come here for the breakfast/brunch buffet, so we did. There are high points and low points. Service: Great Food: Mixed reviews Atmosphere: Lacking Music: Uh...wasn't there supposed to be live music? Did I miss the live music? We've been here twice for the brunch buffet. Each time we've walked in, we've been greeted warmly. The hosts/hostesses and servers have been attentive and very likeable. We've been able to go straight to the buffet without waiting, and the wait staff has never flinched when I asked for orange juice, coffee, and water. There is a chef at the buffet line who makes omelettes and waffles on the spot, and they're wonderful. That's probably the best part of the food. The chafing dishes are filled with other items. The best items are: bacon, biscuits, gravy (sausage, for the biscuits), and chicken pieces in waffle batter. Besides these items, there are catfish nuggets, some kind of pasta dish, turkey bacon, pancakes (which look more like crepes, but aren't), scrambled eggs (Why would you do this when you can have a fresh omelette?), sausage patties, wings (dried out), and some things I've probably forgotten. At the end of the table is a nice dessert setting, but I'm not really into desserts, so I can't tell you about that. I did hear the women at the next table raving about the Red Velvet cake, so it must have been good. There is also fresh fruit, and you can't go wrong with fresh fruit. The coffee was very tasty. The orange juice did not appear to be from concentrate...it was good. I don't think it was fresh squeezed or anything, but it wasn't "canned" tasting. Obviously, with it being a buffet, you can go up as many times as you like. The buffet line is set along a wall, which is a little off-putting. I could never go up more than twice. Once is usually my limit. The food is very filling. My husband can usually make it up more times than I can. He gets his money's worth. :D I make it up in orange juice. The place is dark. The decor is old and drab. Lots of dark wood. You have to cross a "dance floor" in front of any other diners to get to the buffet (no big deal, but worth mentioning...the space isn't well used). Finally, I thought there was supposed to be a live jazz band. The first time we went, there was a band setting up, but they never did play. We were there during prime hours, so I don't know why they never played. The second time we went, we never even saw a band. The music piped in was outrageously loud. It needs to be turned down a bit. It was good music though. Just LOUD!!! Almost too loud for conversation. They've stopped the brunch buffet for football season. We love football, but I don't think we'd go there for anything but brunch.

My husband, myself and my 3 year old tried the local WOW cafe tonight for dinner. (Waldorf, Maryland) We were excited to see that they offered 50 cent boneless/traditional wings. The first issue we experienced was when they did not have ANY milk for my son. No big deal, so we asked for the kids juice.... Nope, out of those too. Had to order lemonade for him. Next, my husband asked to try the Louisiana Abita beer. Nope, out of that too. So he asked for the fall seasonal Sam Adams and they responded that they did not have that either. I asked the waitress who manages their supply and she rolled her eyes and said, " I don't know" and I informed her that I would be letting corporate know. (tried to send this in via website, however page seems to be broken) Now, moving along to the food menu... My husband and I ordered 5 orders of 5 piece wings. My husband asked for 5 traditional Jamican and 5 Bonless austrailain. Sorry, out of Austrailian sauce. So he ordered boneless Santa Fe instead, (which was brought out as traditional). Secondly, I asked for 2 orders of boneless, one Polynesian and one Asian. Sorry, out of Polynesian sauce, so had to order Buffalo. I only ever received ONE of my order of wings, which were the buffalo ones. Lastly, I ordered one set of 5 boneless for my son with BBQ, which miraculously they had. More likely than not, we will not be going back to this cafe. Serious management overhaul needs to take place. The whole place was sticky and needed some serious cleaning and attitude overhaul. We will probably stick with Buffalo Wild Wings from now on.

Updated Review(2 stars): Ehh, I get the idea of trying to diversify your offerings and crowd but charging a cover at the door on Friday and Saturday nights will just walk customers like myself. I stopped in on a Saturday night to watch the NBA Playoffs games and get some wings. With all of the TVs around the place you would think this would be a great option to do such. They have bands that perform on Friday and Saturday with pretty much eliminate any chance of enjoyment for sports loving patrons. Rather than pay a $10 cover to sit at the bar and spend my money, I went to Red Robin.. plenty of room at the bar and huge screens. Original review from 8.5.13 (3 stars): For me this spot is STRICTLY a Football Sunday dive. The drinks at the bar are STRONG and the selection of wings are enticing. Each table has its own tv so you can watch the game at a booth rather than sitting at the bar if you like. All in all if you are looking for a great place to catch the game amongst Skins & Ravens fans, this is a good choice.

WOW has gone down hill. My wife went for dinner and ordered the 2 for 1 Margarita and when she asked for the second one the bartender said she had to ask for the second one before 8 o'clock. He would not give her the second one unless she paid full price. When she asked if he charged her the 2 for 1 he said he did and that's the way it goes. She should have drank up her first one real fast so he could put the second one in front of her. The Margarita's were mostly fruit juice anyway. The food was so plain with very few condiments it was not worth the price. I guess for a LOUD chicken shack it's low par for the area. When she got her bill he did charge her for the 2 for 1 drink and added a 18% gratuity to boot. When she asked for the manager they said he was not in. WOW to me now stands for Why Oh Why do wd go there.

The food was absolutely awful! The jerk wings tasted like they were sprinkled with cinnamon. The Asian teriyaki wings had a weird after taste. My waitress was very nice but the food.....yuck.

Went here with my boyfriend. We waited about fourty five minutes at our table after being seated. The man was serving everyone around us but walking past us. I'm assuming it had to do with race because we were the only white people in the building. Rude service. Wish it wasn't.

This place Sucks! The manager is unfriendly. There is one woman bar tender with blond hair and pale skin who is a bad bartender. Due to her lack of spirit and positive attitude and never smiles. The woman's bathroom is always Nasty!! Paper towels everywhere, smells very bad and the toilet which there are three never all work. So it is left with one for a decent crowd. Smh this place always has an empty parking lot. I've tried to give this place a chance and they fail at service, lack of environment on the inside and the food is aight not the best.

I used to go to the Wow Wingery in Largo Town Center quite a bit and I usually enjoyed myself. It was back when the band, Suttle Thoughts, used to play there on Monday nights. Even though they had a large crowd, the food and drinks were fairly up to par. That being said, I was disappointed with the quality of food at Wow Wingery in Waldorf. After going this weekend I realized why their parking lot is always vacant. I ordered the Memphis wrap, which is supposed to be similar to a pulled bbq chicken style of wrap. What I received was nothing like it was described on the menu. The explanation from the menu states the wrap consists of Grilled chicken, cheddar & Jack, lettuce, Kansas City Honey BBQ Sauce, Honey Mustard Slaw on a signature garlic & herb tortilla. I received a wrap that was more sauce than chicken, had a ton of wilted lettuce, no cole slaw, & cold cheddar cheese in a very cold and chewy tortilla wrap. Wasn't pleasant to eat in terms of textures,The french fries were okay. I left a great deal of lettuce, flour tortilla and sauce on the plate though. The service here is pretty decent. I sat at the bar area and the bartender was pretty friendly and helpful. She spent most of her time talking to patrons at the bar. There were only about six of us and a couple at a table. The food could have been better since it wasn't busy that during that time of day. I'll probably continue to come here to see bands play. One of my favorite bands, Bel'adona used to play here last year and I would come back to support them. I would probably just eat before hand.

I really like the food at WOW. I first went for the fried pickles, but left with the gumbo(see disclaimer), wings, and the biggest chicken tenders I've ever seen (I hope never to meet that chicken's big brother). However, there are real issues: * The first time (and last) I had the gumbo, the best gumbo this side of the Mississippi, perhaps better than mine, it had a substantial piece of glass in it! What was really funny was that I considered eating more even after I found it. It really was that good. We spoke to the manager, and our food was free. Then we ordered wings to go. * The wings come with no sides. It's just an app. Perhaps as a combo, people. I don't think the tenders come with a side either. WOW just wants you to "EAT MEAT" (and glass). LOL

Okay food. I like the wide range of sauces, and the fried mushrooms aren't bad. The sweet tea is just the right level - not too sweet, not too weak. The portions are fairly generous. Unfortunately, they were out of what I ordered. The service needs work though. I don't know if they were shorthanded or what, but our server took forever with taking our orders and bringing out our drinks (it wasn't very crowded). We apparently weren't the only table having an issue, since he asked us if a nearby table had already left. Um, it wasn't my day to watch them dude, sorry, but for the record they paid up front after waiting a loooong time for him. On the downside, they've gotten rid of some of our favorite flavor combinations, so we likely aren't going back very often.

Didn't care for the food, the service was ok, and it certainly seemed to be a bit racially tilted towards African Americans. I will not be returning as there are plenty of places for chicken in Waldorf where I don't have to worry about spit in my food. I'm not saying that's the case for this place but it kinda gave that vide.

Eating at this establishment is what inspired me to sign up for a Yelp account. I absolutely adore Wings!! and the quest for good Wings can be trying and most places have average wings BUT if a restaurant's specialty IS WINGS they should not taste disgusting. I had a gift certificate to this place and was actually excited to try it. My boyfriend and I ordered the sampler and some beers. We were there on a day when their drink special was $2 domestics...not bad...but then It took forever for our wing sampler to come out. Their moto is "Choose from over 17 signature sauces that will make you say WOW"....ha Wow is not the word I would use. The wings were not meaty or large or at all fresh. Of the sampler, only the Teriyaki was good. The Thai Peanut, Jerk and Italian were so nasty tasting I had to spit them out and could not get the nasty taste of the Italian wings out of my mouth for a day. (The Italian wings were a recommendation from our waitress -it supposedly was her favorite sauce) The only wings that I could eat were the Teriyaki and the buffalo. I paid for this huge sampler and we could not even eat most the wings because they tasted horrible. The only pro's to this place are the decent drink specials and the tv's all over the place. If this is all you want in a place where you will spend a nice price to eat...than this is your place!!

I've been going to WOW pretty much since they have opened in Waldorf. I went this weekend and I must say that food was really good. You may say how many different ways can you spice up wings, but WOW seems to manage to perfect their craft. Me and my party got the sampler where we ordered 5 different types of wings and they all to our delight came out perfect. Additionally my maincourse, which was blackened shrimp was extremely flavorful and good. It had been awhile since I went to WOW's and after this last visit, I think I'll be making another trip back there some time soon.

I went friday night on girls night out with my sister in law and her friends. It was really crowded and I was very hungry so I was a litte hesitant. We finally fought our way threw the crowd to the bar and ordered drinks. I ordered a Mojito and when I tasted it, it tasted like syrup. I handed my drink back to the bartender and asked for an extra shot of rum expecting to pay another $4-5 dollars. She poured the rum and handed me the drink back and it was perfect! She didn't charge me a thing :-) We managed to get seats at the bar after some gentleman gave theirs up and I ordered chicken quesadillas and my sister in law ordered wings and fries. Everything was delicious! My quesadillas were made with a garlic tortilla and the chicken was seasoned perfectly. Now I live in Atlanta and we are known for our hotwings but these wings were good!! They were big and juicy and very well seasoned! The bartenders kept us entertained with their dancing and singing. They even danced on the bar like in that movie Coyote Ungly but only the hip hop version. It was great, I learned a couple of moves to go home and do for my hubby :-) They had a live band playing a variety of old school and new school music that had everyone dancing no matter of the age. Next time Im in the DMV area I will be sure to be back!

i went to WOW a while back and was pleasantly surprised by how nice a place it is. (IDK about you, but when i hear the name "world of wings," i imagine something like cluck-u, KFC-ish sports bar, etc, and definitely do NOT get excited.) after a short 5-minute wait to be seated, my friend and i got a pub table and the waiter came right away. he was very friendly, and a little [too] flirty but that was okay (nothing inappropriate, just a little bit much). our drinks (awsome martinis) arrived quickly too, and the food (wings w/ varying levels of heat/spice) was right behind them. another pleasant surprise of the evening was the live music - a jazz band. they were really good and kept the place jammin' the whole time we were there. it was a really nice vibe. however, after a couple more drinks, it was time to go b/c even though this is a nice place it is in west nowhere. (seriously, have you ever driven to waldorf?!) good food, good service, good music....i had a nice time. not worthy of 5 stars b/c it didn't wow me (har har har). not worthy of 4 stars b/c it's not so great that i'd make the drive again. it's just too inconvenient for food i can easily get elsewhere and not have to cut my evening short b/c i'm concerned about the serious trek home. otherwise, good place. if you're nearby (is anybody?), go and have a good time.

Where is the "0" when you need it? THIS PLACE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE! I am with Ellen K. This place inspired me to sign up for a Yelp account as well. My husband and I went for Cinco de Mayo. We figured since it was not a Mexican spot, it probably would not be crowded so we could eat and drink without a bunch of people. We were right! The place was practically empty, which was good for us but that was about the only thing that was good. Here is a total review of the place and since I am an equal opportunist, I will start with the good things: Pros 1. They have many TV's over the bar and TV's at each booth so you can watch what you want if you sit at a booth. 2. The place is decorated nicely and seems to be very clean. Cons - GEEZ, where do I start? 1. Upon entering, the manager was sitting at the front. No salutation or greeting - he just yelled at the hostess to tell her someone was at the front and needed to be seated. 2. We waited FOREVER for someone to even come over to acknowledge us. About 20 minutes. 3. When the waitress finally found her way to our table, she was not at all motivated to serve us quickly. EVERYTHING took forever...drinks and food. We ordered martinis but I asked her to bring water for my husband and I as well. My husband is STILL waiting for his water as we speak... 4. Said waitress continuously disappeared for long periods of time. By the time we were ready to pay for our meal we had waited so long that we practically tackled her to get the check. 5. The martinis were NASTY. I ordered the Key Lime and it tasted like medicine and was extremely strong. My husband's tasted like straight alcohol. This may be a pro for some folks but he didnt even drink his. After trying to just deal with the taste of mine, I finally ended up sending it back. 6. Wings were not all that and the sauce was horrendous. I ordered the Key West sauce and I cannot even describe the taste. Try it if you dare. 7. The manager (see Con #1) spent the majority of his time chatting with the party that was seated behind us. The only thing he was managing was the several Corona's that he "managed" to gulp down during our visit. This place seems like it has all of the bones to be a great spot, however, the employees seem to be bringing it way down. The food is NOT all that great either. We should have saved our $45 and went to Chick Fil A. At least its "their pleasure" to serve us. It will be a cold day in hot wing hell before I visit this place again.
