I know you can't expect much of anything in a town like this, but I figured a Panera bread would be safe! The cashier sounded way too bored with her job and mumbled off her questions so quickly I had to ask her to repeat everything. No big deal. But when the sandwich came, it looked like there had been a food fight on my plate! See the pic. Also, I'm not sure that lightly toasted white bread qualifies as a panini.

I NEVER have an issue with this Panera Bread. Food and staff are always on point. The one in Waldorf is always clean too. I love it

I absolutely LOVE Panera! The staff here is incredibly nice, and I've been going here so often for such a long time, they're pretty much my "Panera family". They know my order, and start it before I get to register, and (when it's not busy) we chat for a while. The food is also amazing.

I'm usually content if my order was not right but this just did it for me. I ordered from this location craving a great night salad and what I got in return was a huge dissapointed. I figured ordering from their site will be easy enough to follow since they've messed up my order when I went in person. Let me just start from the top and the reason why they deserve no stars. I ordered an CHICKEN Cobb salad and when my fiance brought it home I was unhappy to find that the salad had NO chicken in it. I was also unhappy to find tangerine oranges since I took that out from the order. Also, I paid for extra add ons and nothing I paid for was in my salad. If that wasn't bad enough, no salad dressing, no cheese, and all the stuff I look forward to eating was not there. If that didn't make it bad enough this did: THERE WAS A PIECE OF HAIR IN MY SALAD!!!! I am utterly disappointed and dissatisfied with my order and I will never recommend.

Pros: Really like this place! I always get the pick two, turkey and bacon sandwich and French onion soup. Both are amazing! It's a really nice place to go when your friends are all busy and you're eating alone. The staff here are also very friendly! Con: Quite a few times it has taken around 10 to 15 minutes which is a long time to wait when you only have a 30 minute break.

I love this Panera and have been there too many times to count. The staff is always cheerful, helpful, and fast. Like any other Panera, it's got the carbs you want and really good salads. My go-tos for the pick 2 are the fuji chicken salad (must try) and the chicken noodle soup. When I used to eat bagels, the asiago bagel was my fave. I just wish I had Panera near work. Sometimes, you want to go to a chain that's reliably good.

food is still good, service is BAD.... I have noticed in the past six months that this location's service has gone down hill with recent front cashier staff members attitude of not listening to customer orders and no attempt to be helpful and get the order out completely. I ordered breakfast items for three people and had to keep asking various staffs for my food items like my Baguette, drinks, sandwiches, which they didn't give me with my pastries and didn't bother to tag team each other to take care f the customer's complete order or tell the customer what to expect.. And they decided that they don't want to serve soup yesterday also yet...this weekend unlike other times I have been there. We thought this Panera was reliable for having soups ready at 9-10 am for brunch but not anymore. We thought that the Panera in La Plata was an abnormal bad location due to similar slack of service because the manager there didn't care... I guess something has changed so that both Panera in Waldorf and LaPlata service are now equally lack luster... There seemed to be no longer the same professionalism of management for good food service in this Waldorf store now as before... Counter staffs make food preparation decisions and others just follows along with out any manager consultation. Looks like children in charge, without adult supervision. They will be off my list for breakfast brunch on weekends then...

Just OK, very pricey for what you get. Sandwiches do not have a lot of flavor and they are less than generous with the contents for the cost. Felt very rushed at the checkout and then was not told where to get my food? Employees were busy talking amongst themselves instead of offering good customer service. I have extent in a Panera in another state and was not impressed then either. Have not tried the baked goods or soups, but not going out of my way to eat here in the future. Really wanted to rate 2 1/2 stars!

Horrible horrible horrible!!!! I am a nurse at a local hospital and used Panera to cater a breakfast for our nurses. We scheduled a delivery time for 0630-0645 and they did not arrive until almost 0730! Some of our night shift staff had to leave and miss the party. When the delivery girl finally arrived her excuse was "oh I'm not the normal delivery girl" I called to complain to the manager who had an attitude and did not seem to care and gave me 10% off. WILL NEVER USE THEM FOR CATERING AGAIN and will inform the rest of my colleagues to do the same.

Not sure what it is with some restaurants in the evenings, but they seem to could care less about cleanliness and professionalism. After a hard 12 hour day at work, I stopped by Panera Bread in Waldorf for a bite to eat. Unlike other evenings I have eaten here, I was actually assisted right away at the register. The manager on duty said hello to me, and that was all well and good. With 45 minutes left until closing, I halfway expected that the drink counter would be at full capacity. However, the sweet tea was bone dry. I went and asked the manager if they were done serving sweet tea for the night. There's nothing quite like a refreshing cup of iced tea after a long day at work. :-) He called out to someone to fill it up, and as I walked back to the drink counter, even one of their own employees was trying to get some, and seemed pretty bummed out. I know the feeling. (laugh). He then called out to the girl responsible for managing the dining room to take care of it. She was chatting with friends and/or other employees in a secluded corner of the dining room. Every table I looked for to sit at was filthy. The floors were quite dirty as well. Dishes were piled up at the trash centers sky high. It looked like a disaster; which I could believe on a weekend night, but seemed shameless for a Monday evening when you have only a few customers. It doesn't look good when employees are joking around and hanging out while the customers are left to fend for themselves when it comes to any sort of clean place in which to eat. Secondly, it's a bit annoying when you're trying to have a quiet meal, and employees are being loud and a bit disruptive. They weren't being completely obnoxious, but it was somewhat unnerving when it seemed like they could be doing other things rather than hanging out. The sandwich, itself, was great. I go here for lunch all the time, and a sandwich maker named Tommy makes THE BEST sandwiches. He's fast, efficient, and really courteous. He is the reason I give this place 2 stars instead of just 1. I think they could work harder on maintaining cleanliness in the evenings. They can be nice all they want to to customers, but by leaving the dining room a mess, it doesn't show a great appreciation for customers, in my opinion.

Love, love, LOVE this Panera Bread!! As you can see from my reviews, I don't give out 5 stars easily, but this place really is 'as good as it gets'! You walk in, you're greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome. Your order is taken, ACCURATELY, and filled within minutes, if not seconds. They point out any freebies or discounts you might have on your account (if you have a Panera Bread card). And they send you on your way with an equally cheerful, but not cheesy, good-bye. The chairs surrounding the fireplace are comfy and plentiful. The counters, tables, floors, etc. are clean. And the food is GOOD! Love the cinnamon-crunch cake, cinnamon crunch bagel (yes, I like cinnamon :) and their salads. I found and began frequenting this location about a year ago and at each visit (unfortunately for my waistline there have been many) the quality of the food and service is ALWAYS top-notch!

When I call ahead to place an order, I expect my food to be packaged as specified and ready to go. Panera did just that and more.... the friendly gentleman offered to help carry my packages to my car. Efficiency and over the top service. Reasonable prices, fresh and healthy lunch selection with some seasonal favorites thrown in the mix. My kind of place!

love this Panera. I am always very happy with the service and food. They are all very nice and friendly. You order the food and your meal is up within a couple of minutes. It's always clean, tables are wiped down and no trash laying around. Panera is my "go-to" place when I don't feel like cooking.
