I would give it zero stars if it weren't for the fact that I do enjoy their food. But the service is HORRIBLE! I usually order to go and even if I call ahead it takes them 15 minutes to get my order. What makes it even more annoying is that there are multiple waiters and greeters just standing around, laughing and talking, when at least one of them is capable of grabbing a to go order from the back.

Service was so-so, but it was also a sat night. Waited at the bar for about 30 mins before they seated us. Never had a bad experience at any olive garden. I think I've tried almost everything on the menu. This was my first time getting soup here. Got the minestrone and the potato leek soup. Not too bad, but I still prefer the salad. Can't go wrong with filling up on the breadsticks too. Ended up bringing my carabellini pomodoro back home because I got full off the soup and salad. One thing that I like is they always have new items on a separate menu. Would probably go back. They gave away a $5 off coupon for the next visit as a holiday gift.

I love Olive Garden. Love the salad and breadsticks. I think I love the breadsticks too much. :) I was surprised that there was no wait and we found a parking space right out front with no problem. My daughter thinks it is due to the new Olive Garden open in St. Mary's. Maybe everyone was still outside enjoying the beautiful weather? Who knows, I was just glad we didn't have to wait! Tonight I had a new menu item: Shrimp & Crab Tortelli Romana Shrimp, crab and smoked mozzarella-filled ravioli, topped with sautéed shrimp in a three cheese and sun-dried tomato sauce. It was ultra yummy! I would highly recommend. My daughter ordered: New! Lasagna Rollata al Forno Lasagna rolls stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella, asiago, parmesan and romano cheese. Topped with mozzarella and seasoned breadcrumbs, baked in five cheese marinara. Which looked like three round rolls. She said the filling was really good, but some of the pasta on the outside was kind of tough. Probably from being baked? She ordered a pumpkin pie cheesecake, which was frozen, although it did taste good. Most of it went home anyway, so not a huge deal, but for $6.50 I thought it should have been thawed at least. Anyway, I still love Olive Garden and will go again. And something else I noticed this time, for some reason I prefer the male servers we have had there. I don't know what it is, but they just seem to be much friendlier. It's not that the female servers are unfriendly, they just seem to be more business like. Not bad service by any means.

I always get the unlimited breadsticks and soup. This Zuppa Toscana soup is always on point for me! But today I also got the Shrimp Scampi Fritti which was also delicious and highly recommend!

Found something very foreign in my food. Waitress takes to the back five minutes later she comes back and says she will box another one up for me to take home. Ten minutes later everything is ready and they comp my meal. I love the food but was disappointed that no manager came to apologize .

It's Olive Garden - seriously? Why are you reading this review?!? Not the best service; her voice said she cared enough to try and work a tip while her body language said "I could give a what". Food was very slow getting to the table. Tasted decent once we finally got served - paparadelle pescatore.

I really can't complain. Every time I go to this Olive Garden its great with great service. Just beware of the 5 o' clock dinner crowd it can be noisy and leave you waiting some time. The service is always great. The Zuppa Toscana is awesome, be sure to try it.

I came here to use a gift card I had and my expectations weren't high because after all, it's Olive Garden. Amazingly, my experience was even worse than I expected. We walked in and there were 4-6 staff joking around at the host stand but it took them a good 2 minutes to get their stuff together to seat us. Pretty unprofessional. When we were seated, our server was awful. She didn't seem to know what she was doing and she kept coming over to ask us things every 2 seconds. She expected us to be ready to order within 5 minutes of getting the menus and she gave us the check before we had even finished eating. When she first came for drink orders, I asked her if there were lunch specials and she said no, Sunday's they only do dinner. Later, she offers someone else a lunch menu and I hear someone order a lunch portion of an entree. When I call her over and ask what the hell is going on, she finally gives me a lunch menu and tells me that "we mostly do dinner on Sunday's." What?!?! Besides the confusing service, the food was not good even by Olive Garden standards. My mushroom ravioli and my partners chicken Parmesan sandwich tasted like they came out of the frozen food aisle. Plus even the breadsticks were cold. To top off the meal, there were no paper towels or toilet paper in the bathroom. You'd think one of the 6 staff joking around could handle that. If you're in the area and craving Italian food, go the extra 1/2 mile to Carrabba's.

The food was decent but that customer service. Hands down awful customer service. It felt like we had walked into a restaurant during it's Grand Opening. Never again. There was one Server that was spectacular everyone else sucked. Here's why it sucked. The Gentlemen seated across from us asked for butter to butter his breadsticks and the Server advised him that the breadsticks are prepared with butter on them. We sat for nearly 15 minutes before we met our Server who showed up without water. We actually received breadsticks before our water. We were asked if we wanted parmesan cheese on our salad but we had to request it for our main courses. It may seem petty but these are the fundamentals of quality service and without quality there is no service. This Olive Garden felt broke Restaurant Industry Commandments. My biggest concern is that the restaurant appeared to be nearly empty and it was lunchtime.

So, it't the Olive Garden!! I haven't been here in years for reason really unknown, but tonight, the guy and I said, let's go! We arrived near 8 oclock and I was expecting to wait, after all, it was Saturday night! However, we didn't wait long at all! We were seated within 10 minutes of checking in to the restaurant! He was thoroughly pleased because we were seated in the bar area near the televisions. And of course the OKC/Spurs game was on, so he was very happy! LOL! Our server, Amber came right over and was extremely nice and friendly! She greeted us and we exchanged a couple of jokes with her! We ordered our food, (he ordered chicken alfredo, I ordered shrimp mezzaluna), and everything was very good! Oh and we had soups as well! The chicken dumpling soup was a pleasant surprise to me! It was very good! It was his by the way! And we ordered a desert! It was the white chocolate raspberry cheese cake! It was good! All in all, the food was delicious and the server was very nice and was extremely personable! Definitely will be back for another round!

Went there on 5/27/15. We were seated and the people that came in behind us was served first. We waited 20 min & no service. Even though it was a Weds during the day with few people in the Restaurant. The staff was having a good old time sitting & talking & joking with each other but not serving. Several staff past our table but no service. So we left the Restaurant. Go there at your own risk...

I think the people that work here want Olive Garden to go bankrupt. The staff is lazy, the food is sub par for Olive Garden standards, and one time we were sat at a broken table. When I asked to be moved, they sat another family at that broken table without even wiping it down.

Normally, I enjoy an outing at Olive Garden. We don't go often but when we do service is usually great and the food is always what we expect. Yesterday's visit was a real turn off! I encountered food under my table which had attracted roaches! There was one actually sneaking around the top of the table. I promptly left. I probably will not be revisiting this particular Olive Garden ever again!

3/29/14 6:30pm Reservation Party of 30, Birthday Party, Private Area but open to the rest of the restaurant They were a bit overwhelmed, Biker Crew wasn't rowdy but we are playful and some of us are a handful lol Review base on Brandy and my service only Food was good, They forgot one of our appetizers, but received it with the main course. Took a bit for service due to size of our party but the food was good. They deleted the appetizer due to the mix up and I was pleasantly surprised with the bill, the tip reflected my appreciation.

Ordered take out from here one night. The food was very disappointing. I ordered the seafood Alfredo, I must have said hold the Alfredo sauce because there was none on there. All of the staff were very friendly and the manager was very apologetic. He even gave me a gift card to compensate for the horrible food. If I go to Olive Garden again, it def won't be this one again.

Excellent service. We stop here on our way home from the Carolina's. We are never disappointed. Salad and breadsticks were fresh and good. Manager came by the table to check in. So in my mind, they care how they are treating there customers.

This is the most pathetic Olive Garden I have ever been to in my life. It's always a problem everytime I order from here thru pick up service. Every single time. I called to order food tonite and I get hung up on and put on hold serveral times. I had to call six times just to order. All I order is breadsticks and salad. My order is so simple. Then after I place my order u would think my order would be ready when I come to pick it up. It takes them 15 mins to give me my damn food. Then when I ask for extra dressing they take an extra 5 minutes for that. This is every single time I call here to order. I just don't understand what is the problem with these workers here.

When I ordered the buy one take one home they will not let you order the wheat pasta for your first entree when you order the spagetti. I really don't think wheat pasta should be considered a substituion. I have not received my food yet.

The waitress was nice, but forgot our order and came back after we finished our appetizer to reask. Our salad was oldish and soggy. Breadsticks were great. We got stuffed mushrooms. They were good but greasy...very greasy. Both of our main courses were good. Next time I will ask for my pasta andante. When we were finished our waitress disappeared for 15 min leaving us waiting. We had to get another staff member to help.

Food was good. I had the veal parmesan and the minestrone. Waiter was very good. Staff was very friendly. The only bad thing was they ran out of cheesecake.

I have been here at this location several times and for the most part the food is good and standard as any other Olive Garden location. I am writing this review because I had one of THE worst customer service experience I have ever encountered! And not to minimize the work that waitresses do but our waitress had 3 tables and all of us were displeased with her service, so much so that we informed her that her customer service was unacceptable and she should consider a CS training. It took 30 min to receive our bread and salad. It took 20 min to get a glass of wine. By the time she did bring our salad it was drenched in dressing, to the point the lettuce was wilted and even the salad tongs had dressing all over it, you couldn't even pick it up without messing up our hands. When we showed our waitress, she didn't even offer to wipe it off OR offer napkins so we could wipe it off. We ended up using our forks instead. When we expressed any concerns to her about the service, our drinks, or anything, she responded by telling us in a very condescending tone that we had no idea how difficult waitressing was, it was harder than we think and that she is very busy.....so again, not minimizing what you do, but is that your piss poor excuse for your crappy customer service? I don't think so! And it doesn't make it any better when other tables around us were seemingly getting good service. That experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't know if I will return to this location. And she still got a tip, which I don't think she deserved in the least, but I know how important tips are to a server's livelihood so I conceded.

Really good service and food, lived a mile from here all my life and never tried it, so glad I did. Salad and breadsticks are so good and so was the pasta!! Wanna go back today! :)

I've been to better locations, both in terms of cleanliness and service. I went with L and my father last night to the Waldorf location and was less than impressed once again. We ate in the bar--no kids, thankfully--and our server came by pretty quickly to take our drink order. Then he was gone for ten minutes fetching three glasses of water. I felt somewhat rushed to give my order, and I know L felt it. She ordered the cheese ravioli and the wedding soup, Dad went with the all you can eat soup and salad( zuppa toscana), and I went with the lemon-herb chicken. Salad, soups, and bread sticks took another ten minutes. The entrees took another 20-dad had finished two bowls of soup and a plate of salad by the time our food arrived, and the L and I ordered martinis--caramel brulee for her, toasted marshmallow for me. Seeing as we were in the bar, where there were only two other patrons and two bartenders, I thought the martinis would arrive fairly quickly. Not so. I was done eating by the time the drinks arrived. So, less than impressed. As for cleanliness, we had to wait for a table to be bussed before we could be seated in the empty bar, and my shoes stuck to the floor the entire time. L confided that her foot had come out of her shoe at one point because the floor was so sticky.

Wonderful place to eat with an Italian atmosphere. The portions are very generous, and the prices are not bad. Parking can be a bit bothersome but you will eventually find a spot usually in the back. I recommend the pasta soup on a cold day. Service is fast and food comes out perfect 99% of the time. The drive up to go lane is a plus for me and my food has always been exactly what I ordered. The bar is also a fun place to eat if you want to get in and out fast. The only DOWN SIDE of OG is if you want to plane a large party, say 15 or more you must get there at lest 1 1/2 hours to reserve the tables, they will not take reservations for a large party, even if you tell the manager you would leave a deposit, it's just not OG's policy. But all in all it still is a great place to eat.

When you're here...you're family..... I go out to dinner to get away from loud talking, rattling dishes, noise and screaming kids. Like family. Food is what you expect...you don't come here for gourmet food. Lot of people...noisy....cold..( ladies take your sweaters ) ..i

This is not ever my first choice for a restaurant. I must say, I have a new respect for this restaurant at this location. My Mom and I went there for lunch last Monday. She wanted to go out and have soup and we were in the area for her cancer treatment. We were seated near the door, yet it was not busy and it was perfect, as the hostess could see she was having a hard time walking. Joe, our server, took the most wonderful care of us, which has prompted my review. The soup was also great (I was pleasantly surprised it was not salty !). What took this experience to the "over the top" was Joe and his care of my Mom. He made her feel very special and doted on. He went out of his way to take care of her every need, including getting her coffee in a to go cup after we had already paid. Other people did stop by and were also very courteous, Joe was just our main "guy" and he truly went over and above. If this is part of the training of this particular restaurant, my thanks goes out to the manager. I do believe that Joe, who looks like early twenties, gave such care to my Mom, that is something everyone could learn from and is just part of who he is. Never impatient, smiled, listened to her..I really can't say enough. You would get 10 stars if they were available. Great job! I have renewed faith!!

We have always very much liked Olive Garden dishes and this location makes them very well. We've eaten in here 4 times and have never yet been disappointed. Parking and wait time are terrible during busy hours but it's like that everywhere in Waldorf. Plenty of parking in the back if necessary. We've also have done a pick up and was satisfied with portions and nothing was left out. Great value for the price.

I like Italian food. I know Olive Garden is not true Italian food, but it will do. We eat here about once a month. I always enjoy the bread sticks and salad. Service varies. Staff is usually nice. Love the cheese cake.

The food is usually good, especially on those nights when your too tired to cook but you need something wholesome, not fast food. I've never been dissapointed. I have no problem spending money at this Olive Garden.

Food was great but the service was terrible. We had to ask twice for the rest of our order and received our appetizer once we were done eating. We had forgot we even ordered it. Took 15 minutes to flag someone down to ask for our check....it was noon, there was 2 other tables in our section. Server left her server table in front of ours loaded with dirty dishes....maybe this is standard practice these days.

Rude waitress...Refused to get me a drink when I had my license. Also had a coupon from the Olive Garden website and she said she would have to get the manager to verify it..This restaurant needs to do a better job at being professional and making the customer feel welcome.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
